My husband got Extra bacon on his breakfast sandwich and becauae of that i am 100% sure the lady working disnt put ANY bacon on my breakfast sandwich. Stopped to get a sandwich and the employee was sitting outside. When asked if he could help he said he was on break. Now I am all about employees getting breaks but at 2:30am you may have one or two guests at most an hour. You probably have 30-40-50 minutes in between customers. If one comes in, and you're the only person working, get up and serve them. read more

I've eaten at hundreds of subways and this has to be the worst. Before I got my food I used the bathroom... and they were absolutely disgusting. They had a thick black ring of mold/mildew at the water level that made me wonder how often, if ever they were cleaned. One was so gross I passed, the other one was covered in droplets of water. I thought, eww someone peed the seat. After I cleaned it up as best I could and used it... I discovered I wasnt that lucky. As soon as I stood, it auto flushed and it was like a guest exploding upwards, with little place to dodge. Honestly, if I hadn't called my order in, I would have probably just passed and gone to Taco Bell. Kind of wish I had. It was one of the worst chicken subs I've had. The bread was stale ish which is impressive considering how much they sell in that location. The meat was meh. And the bacon was cold (not toasted) so it didn't taste right. Evidentially it didn't occur to them to crisp the bacon like they do in literally every other subway. Veggies were just kinda meh and the sandwich wrapper was a bit wet. This is one of our go-to spots when we're traveling the superslab that is called I-5. Parking is easy. It's fairly easy to turn left into the place. The food is made to order (no mistakes). The staff are always friendly. There's one bathroom for the whole establishment that's pretty clean. And there's a central eating area with televisions. They're all high stool type seating. It's kept clean and it's a nice walled in place where you can keep any kids fairly well "corralled". read more

This is a nice Subway that is located within the Shell gas station mini-marts but for some reason it only has one bathroom for guys and two bathrooms for girls which makes it for a very long line during "rush" hour at the gas station especially if you're actually there to enjoy a meal. The staff here are friendly but they seem to be always out of ingredients or sauces as if they don't restock too often. This is a relatively new location so the facilities are nicer and everything seems more or less clean and well organized unlike some I-5 stops. They are a little stingy on the ingredients of your sandwich and they toast it for too long so the sandwich always tastes too crunchy. You have to sit there and ask for extra veggies on your sandwich because if you want spinach they will put on all of 3 leaves. Thanks ... I mean, it's a fast food place. Inside of a mini mart. Of a big travel stop complex. In the middle of nowhere. You're not going to be finding a whole lot of Wolfgang Puck inspired cuisine out here in the middle of the inland empire. This subway is connected to a Pizza Hut, Wings place, and Taco Bell. It's at the Lost Hills/Love's rest stop off the I-5. Service was fast and friendly enough. They had a $6 6" and soup combo or 1-foot sub deal. Definitely nice to have a bit of a healthier option along the ride between LA/SF. read more

Theres one employee, Raul who didn't seem like he wanted to be there, he didn't change his gloves at all, he made 3 sandwiches with the same gloves, and he kept wiping his sweat, and touching his hat and kept making sandwiches, and when he was asked to change his gloves by a customer he got an attitude, he dropped a knife and im pretty sure he picked it up after I left and kept using it because he just looked like he didnt give a fuck... That dude should gtfo if he doesn't like being there. If you go here, make sure you tell Raul to change his gloves and to stop wiping his sweat all over your food. read more

Good location, clean establishment, but horrible service. Xochitl was the sandwich "artist" who made the most disgusting, ugly subway sandwich I've ever seen. She asked all the normal questions on what I wanted in my sub, but once we got to the sauce, I asked for Honey Mustard, which happened to be empty. Instead of getting a full container, she thought it was more convenient for her to bang the empty container on the counter and squeeze every last bit out. She managed to squirt about a teaspoon of sauce and continued on to ask if I wanted anything else. Of course I asked for more sauce. She rolled her eyes and continued to bang the empty container of Honey Mustard on the counter. Her vicious banging caused the vegetables in my sub to shift off the bread. At this point, I was fed up and said that was enough. As she attempted to wrap the sandwich up, all the veggies pushed out of the bread and the little sauce she managed to squirt out smeared on the wrapping paper. So I asked her to make it again. She rolled her eyes even more so this time and went in the back to grab a full container of Honey Mustard. Now was that so difficult?!! read more

I normally don't write reviews for fast food places, but what the guy did that made my sandwich prompted me to on this occasion. I asked for a 6 inch spicy italian on white bread. He pulled out a piece of white bread that appeared to be a little over 6 inches. He actually took the bread and measured it. It was a little over 6 inches so he cut off about an inch of bread and threw it in the trash. Seriously? That is so stupid and such a waste of food. read more

This Subway is rather pricey. It is a prime stop along highway 5 for gas and food. From what I can tell this has to be the most exspensive Subway that I have ever been to. Nothing wrong with the food, just very pricey. There is room to sit inside. read more
