I definitely do not recommend this store location. Drive Thru Order- Waited over 30 minutes for our food just to find this sticker in my son's burrito. Glad my son is older and was able to respond and spit it out or he could've choked on it. I get it, restaurants get slammed and workers get flustered and that's when mistakes happen. But it's still not an excuse. People pay a lot of money so that they and their families can enjoy places like Wendy's. You don't know who is eating the food so ensuring that inedible things do not go into the food is a given and a huge part of your job especially if you work with food. If my son was possibly younger and/or actually choked on that sticker, I wouldn't just be writing a review. This place doesn't even deserve a star. Been to this drive through a few times when it has been super busy, but the staff is always friendly. Today, the drive-thru was very quick, my food was soooo good and still hot and crispy by the time I made it home. I travel through Lompoc for work every couple of weeks and I always stop by here for lunch. They have recently started renovating a little bit so I can't wait to see what it'll end up looking like when they're completely done. The 4 for $4 deal is a great budget option where you are definitely full after the fries, nuggets, burger and drink. The budget menu isn't bad as well if you're looking for a less expensive price. The fries here are pretty good, they're usually on the saltier side but that's how I like my fries. The salads are always amazing here at Wendy's. The ingredients are always top notch and they're far better than any other fast food restaurant. The spicy Caesar seems like a permanent item on the salad list and the other ones come and go and they're usually all pretty good so there's no complaints. read more

The server could not find the burger that was on the online menu. She failed to explain why the Lompoc location has a different menu. The did understand my request for a puppy patty. They wanted to make a whole burger. At the end I was overcharged. I asked for manager to check the order for charges. Lompoc needs help to educate their staff on customer service to anyone. read more

I know you guys renovated your restaurant but you should renovate your staff next. There's a very young girl working at the drive through that couldn't understand anything even when we asked her to repeat it at the window... she charged us for an extra burger and gave it to us that we never ordered. Went through the drive thru; ordered a Spicy Chicken (add Asiago Cheese) sandwich combo with a small iced tea. Daughter ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a Sprite. Spicy chicken was okay, the bun was not the right bun,. I believe it was a cheeseburger bun. The iced tea was literally brown water. No iced tea taste at all, and my fries were cold and soggy. I tried looking online for the email to write Wendy's and couldn't find it. I am very disappointed in my Wendy's experience from last night. I went to Wendy's in Lompoc, CA around 7:30 pm despite the fact that they always let me down. I ordered spicy chicken nuggets with ranch and when I got to the window the worker basically threw my food at me, I ignored it and went home, once I got home I realized that my chicken nuggets were old, chewy, and cold. Then I checked my bag for ranch and found none, to make things worse they gave me regular nuggets and just put the spicy ones on top so it looked like a full order. I'm trying to support local fast food restaurants so that people may keep their jobs, I placed an order from Wendy's yesterday and DoorDash delivered. There were no straws, or spoons for my drinks/frostys. My chicken sandwich was beyond Burnt to the point where it looked like a beef burger, and my chicken nuggets were as hard a rock and looked way overdone. Where do I start!? This is easily the worst fast food restaurant that I have ever been to! They have just one register to take orders. When I was in there after a kids football game, there were 14 customers in line. There were plenty of workers to take care of the customers but the LACK of managerial brain power was astonishing. The register person was having to get all of her own food and drinks, as well as customer refills. NOBODY WAS HELPING HER! All I wanted to order was a drink. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I took my own order on the register while I had the lady running the register make my drink. The place is clean. I noticed that the drive thru takes awhile for the order to get to you. For fast food, this place is great. I'm a little perplexed by the low reviews - maybe that's because I really only use the drive through. The food at this location is always hot and fresh, and the drive through service is usually very good. We were in town and needed something quick and inexpensive. I guess the "dollar" menu really isn't $1 at fast food places any longer, or just not here? From their "cheap" menu we ordered four piece plain chicken nuggets for our preschooler and a milk (those were a hit with the person in question). And a spicy chicken wrap which husband complained was not spicy. It was barely big enough to be an appetizer for him. Our teen server was spacey. I guess we don't expect much at fast food anyway. Although it was near noon we had the place to ourselves (no complaints as it keeps the small person calm). A senior lady came in, looked at the menu, and also ordered from the "cheap" section. Sometimes I wonder how fast food places hang on, with their regular menus expensive, their "cheap" menus unsatisfying, and customers probably not having as much money as they used to. Visited this Lompoc location because of the good experience I've had in Goleta, CA. BIG mistake. The girl at the drive thru window, Samantha has the worst customer service I have EVER experience. Kept us waiting for a long time, took my order wrong, I asked her to correct it when I saw it wrong on the order screen and her answer was "I got it", no she did not get it. Wrong burger, wrong nuggets (not spicy), wrong drink....just a complete disaster, Will never,ever return to this store.
