They always keep the dining room cleaned up and have very fast service. The food is really good too!

Came here for lunch. My partner and I ordered a Carne asada steak fries and fish tacos. The food came out fast as they were not too busy. The place looked clean. Food was better than I expected, I would come back again to try their other tacos and maybe quesadillas/burritos as well. read more

The woman working there are hard workers making sure the drive through, to go and lobby orders are out as fast as they could. Teamwork for sure. Extremely friendly and the food was delicious we don't have one where I live so I try to go whenever I drive by a restaurant. read more

Late night bite before turning in for the night (i swear this was not a deliberate rhyme ) Aside from one other customer the place was empty but clean. Ordered the Del Dorado Epic Burrito Meal and a 4 piece order of cheesecake bites. The burrito was a total mess, good flavor but just sloppy and soggy mush. I don't actually fault the restaurant for this, I just think this is a bad Del Taco creation. Luckily the cheesecake bites never fail to please. Always super good without being overly sweet. read more

My go to for the best fast-food bean and cheese burrito with green sauce. The other fast food taco isn't as good.

Service was great. I was hungry and only got a loaded carne asada fry. It was so good. Definitely recommend.

Stopped by for dinner on the way home back north. Typically we order at the drive through, but decided to dine in tonight. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and helpful. The ladies behind the counter all seemed very efficient. I appreciate that we can use rewards and offers in-person (via QR code from the app)... instead of only ordering in the app like many companies seem to require. Note: you can't really customize when ordering via the app, but they can customize when you order in-person. (Either at counter or drive-through). read more

I had an early 830 doctor appointment in Santa Maria so I knocked that out and then headed over to my favorite restaurant, Del Taco ! I ordered 2 crunchy tacos and 2 burritos, saving one burrito for the afternoon. The meat sauce they use is heaven! The tacos were stuffed full and so. much grated cheddar cheese. I will always kiss the real Del Tacos served in the original Barstow location with a huge half slice of tomato, but these are great and have chopped tomatoes . The service was quick. You now must request the sauce packets you need but I'm sure there's less waste. Fantastic! Highly recommended. I don't like the other older location in Santa Marla. read more

Do NOT expect them to be open until midnight. in fact they closed the drive thru at or before 11:51pm on Friday night

Food is mainly delicious. Once in a while there are mistakes, but are rare. Staff are friendly and polite.

We don't have a Del Taco in Santa Barbara, so I often stop here on road trips for a bean burrito and a medium fry. (Taco Bell doesn't have fries, well, at least not It's a nice occasional treat. And a good deal. Clean. Friendly. Fresh. Senior discount is a +. But the Value Menu has recently shot up up UP. But I guess that's the reality everywhere. read more

Is it crazy for me to be excited to go to A fast food restaurant? There are no Del Tacos in Connecticut and I had it for the 1st time when looking for cheap eats in Vegas the other year. I hadn't encountered another one until now. It was Thursday and they had a special 3 grilled chicken tacos for &2.99!! Can't beat the price. There not huge so 3 worked out well. They had a good selection including fish tacos, beef and fried chicken tacos as well as quesadilla and burritos. My son liked his crunchy beef tacos. My husbands meal came with crinkle cut fries which were better than all the fast food burger places. You can eat inside and the soda machine is open for free refills which seems to be hard to find these days. read more

The customer service experience has been very great. And this is rare to find at fast food places! Staff are very positive which makes me come back for more! Not only that but the food is always correct and even delicious. They stay on top of fulfilling my order correctly. Definitely will be my go to when I'm in town! read more

Love the simple chicken tacos, Del taco has the best hot sauce. The inside could use a cleaning

My family and I were in drive through and ordered food for four. One of the items I ordered were two crunchy tacos with meat and cheese only for my 4 year old daughter. I had to repeat myself three times to get her order right. After getting home I opened my daughters tacos to find them smashed with not even a spoonful of meat and no cheese in them! My daughter cried and refused to eat anything else because all she wanted were a couple simple tacos and because the person couldn't understand what I was ordering and gave me attitude after I had to repeat myself three times, this is the food they served my 4-year old!!' What a disgrace and the worst service ever!! Never again will I go there!!! read more

Del Taco - The tacos that were supposed to be with meat and cheese. - Mexican Near Me - Santa Maria, California

Very good Del Taco. Fast and the food was cooked well. I had my favorite breakfast tacos and they were hot and cooked to perfection. Also wrapped well so when you open it it doesn't end up in your lap. Great experience. read more

Yeah, I know that it's fast food. Food is always consistent and tacos are substantial. Most impressive is the quick, polite, and friendly service. Must be good management. read more

It's been awhile since I have had Del Taco and it was a great to come back and try out their new crispy chicken tacos. The tacos were delicious and also the crinkle cut fries , the ranch is delicious not a lot of fast food places have good ranch looks like they make theirs here. Which is a plus. Just as good as I remember when I was younger and lived closer to a Del taco. I hope in the future they move up the coast by SLO. read more

Wish I could give NO stars. This is literally my second review ever.. I spent ove $40 dollars alone already in just pepto bismol & tums and 2 days later I still have severe heart burn from this place. Not to mention the 3 gallons of water I've been drinking every day just to stay alive. I've never even had heart burn before! It started as soon as I ate that nasty epic mex beyond burrito. Hope they close down cause not even an exorcism can save this unholy satan's shit stained place. read more

I eat here all the time, my grandson loves the quesadillas, so 5 Thier not as fast as most fast foods, but thier food is always hot!!

The Epic Torta is disappointing and over priced. Never eating at this establishment again. Service was horrible as well. However, i will say the strawberry shake was hella fire. read more

Super friendly staff. Beyond avocado taco combo was awesomely delicious! The service was polite and very fast. They also have beyond burritos. I preferred the tacos, much tastier. read more

Del Taco - Menu wall - Mexican Near Me - Santa Maria, California

I give 3 stars to Del Taco for being about as good as it gets for a national fast-food restaurant chain, and one more star to this specific location for the consistent quality of food preparation and service. For those trekking up or down the 101, the location is pretty convenient (not too far off the Broadway exit, located at the edge of a strip mall). In summary: Tacos. AND French Fries. In the same place. Win. read more

Del Taco - a tray of chips and chips - Mexican Near Me - Santa Maria, California

Favorite fast food chain Mexican food; and this location is better than the other one, here, in Santa Maria. We love their spicy Jack Chicken Quesadillas, their Macho Meat Burrito (no longer on the menu, but they'll make it), the Chicken Soft Tacos (old style AND their new crispy jalapeno), Deluxe Del Beef Burritos and the regular Del Beef Burritos--their chocolate chip cookies are great also! Wish there were some Del Tacos in SLO & Monterey counties. read more

Customer service was excellent. Drive through staff was very nice and helpful. Food was tasty and exceeded my expectations for fast food. Much better than the other Mexican fast food chain that comes to mind. Would be happy to come back for a crunchy taco. read more

I have deep concern for this place I have ordered several times ordering the same meal due to this is the first place that they put me through to pick up food that I ask for extra green sauce which apparently these people don't understand that their green burritos come with green sauce so they put avocado inside my shit even though I've told them four times not to do it they still put avocado not green sauce in there green sauce burritos read more

Best deal taco ever! Passed through town last week and was truly impressed! We had a pretty large and complicated order, and it was completed within minutes without a single mistake?! The workers were VERY polite and proffesional, and even gave us like 30 extra sauces when we asked and said we were from out of town! This is the perfect place to stop for a quick lunch or dinner if you're looking for quality food, speedy completion, and great service!! read more

Food is terrible even for fast food tacos, strawberry lemonade was watered down and takes very artificial. My carne asada burrito had mostly chunks of gristle that were dry and inedible. Not to mention the screwed up my order even though they repeated it to me, forgetting the 2 items that they actually make well, haven't been here for 3 months but got a craving for the classics and tried a few new things out... which sucked. Top this off with shitty customer service and you have it all here. I called about my missing items and they said "I read your order back to you"... yes exactly and you still fucked it up!! (I know they got it because the specifically asked me if it was an original or chipotle chicken roller and then read it back) Mostly pissed because I did not realize till I get home which is quite a drive that they did not get me my FOOD!! read more

I really hate giving such low reviews, especially because the food is always fresh and tasty. But the consistency of the service has been going downhill so quickly I just can't stand it anymore. The wait times in the drive thru is beyond ridiculous. At times you're waiting 20-30 minutes with only a few cars in front of you. The other day I got in the drive thru with only 2 cars ahead of me. I then proceeded to wait in the same spot for 20 minutes while the man at the drive through window was handed 4 bags full of food. I then wait another 20 minutes while he was handed 2 trays of drinks and another 3 bags full of food before finally moving along. While I was waiting, 4-5 cars got in line and left. I would have liked to leave, but the 2 cars behind me stayed put so I was stuck. The lady in front of me finally moved up and paid, got her food and 5 minutes later I was finally up to the window. No apology, so I asked if this was some sort of a joke. The kid told me he had given me a 10% discount. I told him that didn't matter, especially considering my total was $2.15. I had ordered an iced tea and a burrito. I then asked him why he hadn't asked the man with the large order to pull out of line because so many people were waiting and had left the drive thru. He stumbled on some words and had no response. Now, I do not know the policy of Del Taco, but most drive thru's have the car park if they have a large order and the food is brought out to them so the drive thru line can keep moving. I mean, don't most people go through the drive thru because they're in a hurry and don't have a lot of time? This is not the first time I have had to wait in the drive thru more than 20 minutes but this is definitely the longest I have been there, especially with only 2 cars in front of me, 40 minutes is just unacceptable. I could have gone to a nice restaurant, ordered off a menu and still had the food faster than this "fast food" place. Some people only have a certain amount of time on lunch breaks etc., and this is just unacceptable to expect anyone to deal with that. Oh but thanks for the 3 cents off. That made it worth it. read more

Love Del Taco! This location was around the corner from a place I use to work and it was a convenient lunch location. It's cheap, tasty and bad for you! :) I love the Macho Tacos!!! I think it's much better than it's rival, nationwide change, Taco Bell. I always choose Del Taco over Taco Bell. They also have a great chocolate shake. Service is quick and friendly. It's usually quiet in there, so it's a good place to hang out and read/work while eating. read more

The staff is extremely rude. Not trained in proper customer service. Came in at 5:30 pm 12/30 . Not one customer in the store. Staff was being loud, rude, telling each other to shut up. One of the parents of the staff members came in, hugs kisses over the counter, free drinks more loud obnoxious behavior. My food was cold and service was terrible. Must have been 7/8 employees there but 2 actually working. read more

Del Taco has the best fries when they're fresh. I've noticed that some restaurants re-dip the cold fries back in the oil; therefore, it makes them hot when you order them, but they get really hard once you've driven away and start to dig in. I haven't had this problem at this particular DT but noticed it at more than one location. read more
