Horrible customer service! I ordered a burrito with no rice. When I got home there was rice in the burrito. I called to explain, and they said they would give me credit. Moments later they called back requesting that I bring the burrito back to the store to prove there was actually rice in it. I did. I was insulted when I asked why they asked me to waste my time and gas to drive back the burrito and I was told that a lot of people lie about an incorrect order. That sucks and so do they! I love this place. The breakfast burritos are so so so good and huge. The sopes are fantastic, the chili rellenos are my favorite I've had in a restaurant. It's nothing fancy, it may not be your best experience, you may think the place is dirty, but I go at least once a week. It comes with carne asada, French fries, guacamole, and cheese. I asked for no sour cream sub bbq sauce. I would rate this an 8/10, it only had maybe one teaspoon of guacamole in it. Would've been better and worth the price with more guac. Was about $16 but is a pretty hefty sized burrito. read more

I stopped here to grab a quick dinner with family. We got the California burrito and shrimp fajita. Food was good, I liked the fajitas. Burrito has french fries in it. Food was ready really quickly and tasted authentic. The food here was extremely good! Prices did not disappoint either. On walk in you are immediately greeted with a nice environment. Their tri tip sandwiches were amazing, and did not disappoint on the serving sizes. One of the best fries I have ever had, along with their delectable barbecue sauce. Their old burrito was amazing, but since then they changed the sauce to be a bit to overwhelming. The wait for food was not to shabby either. When the food came out the waitress was delightful and made sure we got everything we needed. Would've been 5 stars, but the sauce on the burrito was a bit too overwhelming, as well as the tri tacos having a bit too many onions. If possible I would give it a 4.5 star. read more

A part of me feels weird reviewing a place, solely on their breakfast burritos while the other part reminds me that breakfast burritos are life and if that's all that you have tried then do it! The only thing I love more than breakfast burritos are tacos, so maybe that will be have to be next on the list should my Mexican cravings hit any time other than morning hours. Machaca is always my go to. Something about lean shredded beef with eggs and veggies does it for me. It was delicious. My s/o had a breakfast burrito with eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon and cheese. This monster of a burrito was big enough to satisfy his appetite and some. Glad I reminded my s/o to get some different types of salsa before he left. Mild was more of a chunkier salsa, green was delicious and the super hot was my favorite. Service was friendly as well! read more

This is the best Mexican food in all Nipomo. Their food is always cooked fresh and the flavors are the perfect blend of seasoning. This is a family owned and ran business. They are extremely friendly and it's the kinda small place to go eat authentic Mexican food and they remember who you are. They are friendly and very welcoming. They make sure you are satisfied with your meal and they make sure all your needs are met the whole time your in their restaurant. I'm very picky about how I like my food and they never get it wrong. This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant located in Nipomo. I've been coming to this Mexican restaurant for roughly 4 years. The staff is usually younger personnel who doesn't mind customizing orders to fit your exact needs. I'm almost positive that the main cook in the back is actually the owner of the restaurant he's very friendly and make sure your order is what you would like it to be. I'm pretty sure they charge me for chips, and that's why they get four stars. Their salsa bar is absolutely amazing super super super dank !!!! And they also make their own Horchata , BUT That means that it is absolutely phenomenal yet they don't always have it in stock. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Used this restaurant to get food for a party. They were very accommodating and thankful. Everyone at the party loved the food! Tried some other Mexican restaurants. None returned our phone calls. I've driven past here 1 million times but never checked it out. We were a little nervous because there was not a single car in the parking lot. It's a very small restaurant in what is essentially a strip mall off 101 in Nipomo. There actually were people inside at a few tables and there was a nonstop stream of people picking up to go orders the whole time we were in there. The food was great! I had a chicken enchilada and a Carne Asada soft taco. My husband ordered a burrito that turned out to be huge! They have bottled beer in the fridge. Super casual place but very good. We will move this into a regular rotation. Happy to hear that it is family owned and operated and made it through the pandemic. read more
