I never tried a huarache before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The base is like a crispy dough, and I got it with all the toppings (no meat). I really liked the sauce they put on top of the dish. The service was very quick and nice. Inside is a very causal dining seating. The surrounding area is a little confusing, and it was hard to find via google maps.

We decided on this place because it stated that they served menudo/pozole on the weekends and that is what I was in the mood for. As soon as we walked in we noticed it was a tad warm. As if they didn't have the a/c on. However, they had their front door open. We walked up to the counter, and my husband was giving the cashier our order, but she seemed like she was in a hurry. Which was weird because no one was behind us. We chose a table closest to the front door, so it was cooler. About 5 minutes past and our number was called so my husband got up to get our order and as he started walking back towards out table I could tell on his face something was wrong. He set the tray down that had chips, salsa and his plate of chicken taquitos, rice and beans and says "apparently they no longer have anymore pozole so she didn't charge me." So why did not one come to our table and let us know and see what we wanted instead? Why did they wait until this was done to tell us knowing this was a dine in order? So then I say ok well can I just get what you ordered? By this time there was about 6 people ahead of my order. So now my husband's food was getting cold even though I insisted he eat but he refused to eat until I received mine. As I said, we wanted to love this place. We've learned that little unassuming hole in the wall places such as these are gems, but when customer service fails like this, you don't make people want to come back. It was just really careless. No one was behind us when our order was submitted. There was at least 5 minutes that past before a line formed after us. There were only 3 items on that order between the front of the house and the back of the house no one caught that one of those orders was an item you ran out of, and you should probably fix that sooner rather than later? Being in the restaurant business is being of service to people and in that moment I the customer and my best interest was not a priority and that's disappointing.

Before writing this review I took the time to read the comments on here ( should have done that before I visited this establishment) I wasn't surprised on how many people have had the same experience as myself . I've been a customer over the years and never had a problem with the fact that staff there changes so often. But lately the cashiers and their service is beyond ridiculous. ( food remains a hit and miss by this I mean some days you get great food others it's okay for what you pay for ) On multiple occasions I've visited and have had the rudest cashier experience by the same 2 cashiers, due to masks I can not point them out but just that it is 2 young cashiers maybe in their 20's, one with tattoos on her arms and the other is just very thin . Both of these employees have either ignored me while I stand there or have just been plain disrespectful . I do not understand how these 2 individuals have a job here they are the only girls I see besides an old lady . In my opinion if you want to be treated with respect you should not go to this place ! Again food quality remains the same but the service just keeps me away. read more

Honestly I am writing this review because I've gone multiple times and every time I've visited I've had the worst experience with the short blonde Mexican lady ! How is she employed? Her customer service is awful! I went in a Thursday I believe and she took my order and got it completely wrong on top of that she added a tip on my card ? I went back and had it corrected but that's not right ! I got over it since I love the burritos went on my lunch break and I was like ok she's not cashier maybe things will be better . I was wrong she was cooking or should I say talking . My burrito took 20 mins and I was the only person inside, but the whole time I was there she was just talking sadly this will be the last time I visit this place unless this lady stop working there instead of bringing customers this lady is pushing them away ! Their food is authentic and delicious. You may feel out of place if you're a non Spanish speaker like myself but the staff is very friendly! They have a nice bar with t.v.'s and the restaurant and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. I recommend you try this restaurant it's pretty good! read more
