    a person's feet on a tile floor

The floor is so greasy you will slip if you're not careful. Ordered a bowl of pozole soup... 14 dollars later... and 20 minutes later... still no soup. I will not recommend, nor will I return.

    Huarache oil.

Not the worse but definitely not the best. My mom ordered a huarache and it was dripping oil. The food was okay but I ordered an order of hard tacos and I bit a piece tasted of pure salt. There isn't a lot of flavor and customers were coming in without masks. Overall not a place I would recommend or go back to.

Husband and I haven't been to señor taco since they first open up. We wanted to give them a try again. The food was better then last time I can remember and the customer service was awesome. Good atmosphere and good food. We'll be back.

Wet Carne Asada Burrito green sauce. Arrived hot and in just a few minutes. Little spicy for the average person but perfect for me.

I was recommended this establishment from a coworker and I have to say he was correct. I love the food here. I have only tried the chile Verde and the wet carne asada burrito with green sauce. Both were awesome. Food did not take long to get to my table and was pipping hot when it arrived. Friendly staff, and clean establishment. Portions are big too. My friend made the mistake of ordering 2 sopes. Will definitely come back. I recommend the chile Verde plate.

Chilaquiles with green sauce super Spicy, with cabbage added, radish, avacado, over easy eggs, and some carne' mmmm

Chilaquiles was great super spicy, only thing I didn't like was my beans were cold. Food came out in 15 minutes but it was busy this Sunday. I added cabbage and radish to mine and it was sooo good! Plan for it to be spicy tho! They do offer chilaquiles in red and green.

    Awesome shrimp sope

Darn good burritos and shrimp tacos. The best in Santa Maria. Would recommend this place if your feeling like some authentic Mexican food.

We got rooms in the original part, and it's aged and refurbished time and time again visibly. No noise in the rooms which was nice and mine was fairly large, also nice. Lack of plugs next to the bed was a minus - I had to move the actual mattress a little from the wall and plug in cell phone charger. The property is cool and historic. Walking through the lobby is a kick. I have to say, the tavern I did NOT expect to be so lively at night. I didn't get a chance to go in, but will next time - it looked crowded and fun. All in all, I'd stay there again!

She took my information and told me my room was not ready. I asked if there was an estimate as to when it would be ready. She contacted housekeeping and her answer was, "they will call me". I told her I had a speaking engagement. That I was not pleased but I kept smiling. Nothing. I finally asked where the restroom was so I could change while waiting. She told me where it was and I went and changed. I am not happy. I came back. I sat down. I got someone's attention and asked if I could be told when the room would be ready. A few moments later the original young lady gave me my room key. It is pretty obvious that the room was almost done. A bit of effort on her part would have saved me from changing in the restroom. *sigh*

Beer and mimosas available (darn, they were out of the sparkly for mimosas that morning). We had the chicken fried steak with gravy, potatoes, and biscuit, and the Cobb salad for health. It was a bit stinky where they sat me becasue someone in one of the booths had been smoking. They sat me at a "single" table, which was too tight on my waist. There were lots of historic pictures. Overall it was quite expensive for a "diner", there was lots of good food and country music playing. A Mix of customers of all types. I ordered breakfast and a tri-tip sandwich to go (who doesn't order tri-tip when in Santa Maria??) Breakfast was good, but I was disappointed at the tri-tip sandwich. Not wild about the potato salad either. Probably won't come here again.
