I've always seen this food truck down off the freeway and finally decided to pull over. I just got carne asada Cali burrito and it was very good and you can see from the pic it's a pretty large serving which is awesome. Service was good, they had Apple Pay and the food only took about 10 minutes. I'll be back to try more items soon! read more

I have eaten Mexican food my entire life, all over the country and the world. The Al pastor here is best ever, hands down. It is done on a spit with a pineapple at the top. Dripping with goodness. I have never had better Al pastor. it is juicy, moist, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. It's even good the next day when i reheat it. I have had the sopes and the burrito. can't get enough. from now on will order ahead bc they do take their time. but it's ALWAYS worth the wait when i forget to call ahead. They are one of the few who put hot sauce inside the burrito as well as on the side. It's the perfect heat for me. They add rice and the rice is super moist (which i love). I can't say enough about this place. I think about it and crave it. It makes all other burritos a total disappointment. Will be going back today. read more

We immensely enjoyed everything we ordered. Nachos were delicious, not covered in a lot of cheese, which I like, but the carnitas I had on it was melt in your mouth tender. And the salsa was perfect. We also ordered a Birria burrito and a Silva burrito. The Birria was so delicious and the few bites I managed to get from my boyfriends Silva was really interesting. I just say that because it had a ton going on. Shrimp, chicken, beef?, for me it was too much. But my boyfriend loved it‍ Definitely would go again and I really am looking forward to it. Really wish they had some seating around their truck because I'm anxious and can't wait to get home. I always love it as fresh as it can be.... Absolutely recommend this food truck!!! Enjoy!! read more

The service is quick and on point. The food is always delicious no matter what we order. My dad loves the Chile verde and I love the pastor tacos. The staff are all really nice and efficient, they get your order right the first time. This is my favorite taco truck in all of Santa Maria. Stop by, you'll love it. read more

Best street food out there. If you're in a hurry to grab some food during your lunch break or just craving some authentic Mexican food, this is the place. They are generous with the ingredients, especially the meat, and at great prices too! They keep the line moving pretty quickly if it gets busy and they also accept orders over the phone. I like to call ahead before lunch to save time and each time I went to pick up, the food was always fresh. read more

I've been bugging my husband for awhile now about wanting try Taqueria Silva, and today we finally did. My husband ordered a chicken burrito with hot sauce, he said it was the best burrito he's had. I'd post a pic, but he ate it before I could get one. I ordered nachos, however I no longer eat meat so I asked if I could have meatless nachos with rice added to it. My nachos were YUMMY!! Portions are great, and I also want to mention how friendly the owners were. We will be going back soon. read more

They catered our wedding and they did an amazing job!!! They have the best meat in the central coast. Their service, hospitality, and food are extraordinary. Our plates were served with 4 tacos, 4 choices of meat, quesadillas (for non-meat lovers) along with rice and beans and vegetables for the tacos. Some of our friends and family were unable to attend due to location, so our guests were happy to get seconds and even thirds! In regard to planning, Jasmin was prompt and had all the information I needed. They arrived early to set up and cleaned afterwards accordingly. We got a lot of compliments on the food. People were shocked when they realized the hot salsa was actually hot. Their salsa is my favorite! This is my go to place for my husband and I. My family from the valley ask to go here whenever they visit. This family owned taco truck is where it's at! They're so lovely and friendly too! You need to try this! read more

I mean, it's always where Mexicans go locally. They have such incredible quality, meat on a trompo, incredible al pastor, their quesadillas are generous, the Silva Burrito is the best burrito in all of Nipomo, and that's saying something. I dunno, I'm just happy this truck exists. They do exceptional Mexican food and a perfect price point. Absolutely love the location of the truck. Wish all those fools passing overhead on the 101 knew what they were driving past. read more

Got the pleasure of trying this truck when we were looking for a taco truck for my daughter's wedding. It is one of our favorite dinner spots now. The people are great and the food is amazing! Best in town! We did hire them for our daughter's wedding reception and the food was just as great! Quick service and having food trucks was easiest meal I've provided for 100+ people! Would definitely recommend for dinner any night or for your special event. read more

The meat was not flavorful for the el pastor tacos I got. I also ordered a torta de asada and it has beans, lettuce, and tomato ; they don't have avocado :( but the torta was mostly beans barely any meat. I was really disappointed but the horchata was really good. read more
