While the chicken tamales were good, our experience with the chile relleno was beyond disappointing. While eating, we found two long brown hairs in two separate tamales from that dozen. We were so disgusted that we had to throw the entire dozen away. For several days, we felt sick just thinking about it. These tamales are quite expensive, and for that price, you expect basic food safety and hygiene protocols to be followed. Finding someone's hair in your mouth is unacceptable. I really hope the business looks into their kitchen protocols, as we will not be returning.

It was a tough choice as I have a special place in my heart for tater tots, but I went with the cheesesteak on classic fries and it was delicious! Lots of grilled sirloin steak with cheese and grilled veggies over perfectly cooked fries and I added sour cream. Very tasty and good portions for twenty bucks. The truck seems to be somewhat permanently located in front of Old Town Biergarten which is a great place to grab a cold drink and frequented by the locals in Old Orcutt.

Anytime they are in my area I make an effort to go and get their food. Everything I've tried has been amazing! My go-to item is the cubano with yuca fries. Their tostones are also really amazing! The meal comes with a garlic dipping sauce that is so addictive. I wish I could eat everything with the sauce! Today I tried their ropa vieja and it was so delicious. It is one of their specials so they don't have it all the time, but it is so good that it should be always on the menu! The owners are really nice and down to earth. The truck itself is colorful so you cant miss it! They play Cuban music which adds to the whole experience. Make sure you get a stamp card when you order because after 10 meals you get $10 off. Cubanissimo is definitely one of my favorite food places in this area! I know that everyone will love their food. Next time they are near you, check them out!

I was excited to see yucca root fries came with every dish and choose the beef picadillo. It had a lot of flavor and was really satisfying. I would definitely reorder my dish or try something new from this food truck.

I liked the chicken and the pork was red with some meat flavoring. Didn't taste like pork but tasted good. The tortillas were delish and the rice and beans paired great. I'm more of a cheese, sour cream, avocado taco person so I didn't get any toppings unfortunately. Overall, the food was pretty average. Just a decent Mexican meal.

I've only ordered there tacos but, my husband has had their burritos, asada fries, & quesadillas. He said they are really good. He keeps going back to the fries, which I agree are fantastic. I always get the same tacos. Asada, pollo, carnitas, cabeza, & lengua. I'm really craving these now as I write this review. The tacos are amazing & they don't skimp on meat at all! I was hesitant writing this review only because I don't want to wait in 20+ people lines lol. But, the truck really deserves to be talked about.

With the help of one friendly bilingual staff member, I did buy an assortment of the more pricey selections like Bread Pudding, Flan, & other more "upscale" goodies. I would say that they were better than what is offered at the two huge Mexican Supermarkets in town. The prices were reasonable & this place is a good place for a pit stop on the way to explore the lesser know Guadeloupe Dunes Beach Park, which is at the very end of Main St. past the small town of that name. Please also check out that town since it was once a Japanese immigrant town that still has some of the old buildings, a clock, a Buddhist temple & some people. Anyway, I may come back here for there weekend Menudo....which is curiously hard to find.

Very tasty and delicious shrimp ceviche…read more I see this truck parked at the corner of Donavan and N. Broadway and I decided to give it try. Not knowing much about it, I walked up, was greeted warmly, and ordered shrimp tacos. They informed me they only have cold dishes. The nice people inside the truck explained the menu to me and so I ordered 3 shrimp ceviche tostadas to go. They were really good! I was surprised at how good it all tasted. Although I was full, I wanted more! In the bag were a bag of tostadas, tapatio sauce packets, a chipotle sauce side, sliced limes, a spoon, and napkins. $15.00 I asked for their days and times and she said every day except Wednesdays, 11am to 5:30pm. She also said this is the only location they visit at this time. Upon departing with my order (which came out in relatively quick time), they thanked me warmly which was nice. I got home and set my mise en place. Although the juices made a little bit of a mess, it was so good! I don't mind telling you I drank the left over juices at the bottom of the cup! Again, no hot food here, but if you want a cool seafood based dish, give it a try! Looks like cash only. I see that you can call in an order too. Parking? I got lucky to find the spot behind the truck to be unoccupied but as soon as I left, another customer immediately pulled in. IDK, it's in the Arco gas station lot.
