Foster's Freeze what's a good place to stop and grab a burger and fries if you are on the go or just want to sit down. Or you could get one of their ice creams. I try to avoid the ice creams because I'm trying to watch my figure. So I ate a burger and fries instead. I know that sounds counterproductive but imagine if I had the ice cream too. I've been coming here for my entire life as I live nearby. The only complaint I have is that the staff really don't use any consistency in the ice cream; your cone size is usually dependent on which server makes your cone, or even the order when they make them. I've consistently gotten "large" cones that are either utterly massive or smaller than a medium. The staff is also always so slow; I waited a full minute before someone spoke to me on the speaker, only for them to say "hello?". It was like I was bothering them. Pull up to the window to order and they've all got their backs to the window, phones in hand, just talking. I'm all for enjoying work, especially when there's no customers there, but to do that while I was actually waiting made it seem just so rude. I was really surprised by the price at $6.49 for ONE chili dog and a regular fry. But whatever - I was craving a chili dog.
