Five dollar toast extra from the meal I could've bought a loaf at least
    Angela A.

So I go into Denny's on my way to other celebration for my birthday activities for the day. I asked the guy server if he would tell me which meal is included with the grand slam birthday breakfast he said that they don't do that anymore unless I have a coupon so I looked on my app and he looked up my app and found my coupon so I ordered my food. The skies energy level is at a one the girl that's bouncing all over the rest of the restaurant has a nice high energy. Glad to see what can I give you? How can I add to your breakfast, she gave the gentleman in a $.99 ad on something that I probably could've used instead of a $4.99 sourdough order extra to dip my eggs in which when I got my eggs, they were flipped over easy however they were raw still in the middle of both. I switched that out for a scrambled egg which by then my taste buds were already off. I just have to say that this visit to Denny's on Main Street in Santa Maria was a sad birthday meal.

Waitress was nice, kind, and helpf The food was hot and fresh pancakes were great. Their service was good. I recommend Denny's for breakfast.

Went for breakfast this past weekend. Around 7 am.Since I wanted French Toast , I ordered from the regular menu. ( NOT the Sr Menu) There were only three other customers at the time. So, don't get why my food was cold. The sausages were on the cold side.Hash browns lukewarm and French toast the same. Sausages are like Tootsie rolls. And the Bacon is the THIN already pre- made style. I know about the bacon, as I use it occasionally . They cooked a replacement breakfast which was better. *** Also don't understand why they give you three plates for this breakfast. Awkward to eat from. Cost at $23. 4 stars as food was cold, but fixed. Dennys has been my favorite for many years for Breakfast, at other cities that I have lived. Just going to stick to the Sr Breakfasts, less pricey.

Still polite and quick service with a casual ambiance and though many wouldn't think it since we don't expect it, some of the best burgers in town. I know I used to always think of them for their breakfast foods or more sit down diner foods. Their Smash burgers are crispy and juicy with awesome variety (bourbon, classic etc.) You can also order with them thru door dash as either Denny's or the burger den.

I ordered the Loaded Veggies Omelet with hash browns and pancakes. It was an enjoyable meal from sit down to paying the associate. Just like I was here 30 years ago. I guess I miss nostalgia. I guess too being in the pandemic you miss things. Service was excellent, I loved the hash browns and catchup best. Vegetables was savory in every bite along with the cheese and egg, I should of ordered links on the side. I need to go out more.

I love coming to Denny's for breakfast. My family and I always usually get the super slam for a great price and good amount of food. The service is always so welcoming and attentive. We've also had dinner before but would recommend more visiting during breakfast. Although food and place is amazing, the restroom always need a lil more maintenance. Only reason why I'm not giving it a 5 star.

Overall it was quite expensive for a "diner", there was lots of good food and country music playing. A Mix of customers of all types. I ordered breakfast and a tri-tip sandwich to go (who doesn't order tri-tip when in Santa Maria??) Breakfast was good, but I was disappointed at the tri-tip sandwich. Not wild about the potato salad either. Probably won't come here again.

With not much open around us, we turned to Google for help and stumbled upon Charlie's Restaurant. What a fantastic surprise! My friend ordered a chocolate pineapple milkshake--a creative blend not listed on the menu. She thought it would be a delightful combination, and she was absolutely right. Meanwhile, I went for the Nachos Supreme, and let me tell you, they are hands down the best nachos I've ever had at 70 years old! The chips were perfectly crisp, topped with homemade refried beans, creamy sour cream, cheese, fresh guacamole, and chopped tomatoes. Each bite was a flavor explosion! The restaurant itself isn't flashy; in fact, it took us a moment to spot the sign, which was partly hidden by a hedge. But stepping inside was a treat! We chose to sit in the charming garden, where a lovely mural added to the ambiance. The dining room is small and rustic, creating a cozy atmosphere that felt inviting. The service was exceptional, with a friendly young couple attending to us. The young man even took the time to sit with us, asking where we were from and sharing tips about nearby treasures. It's refreshing to experience such genuine, old-fashioned customer service these days. I can't recommend Charlie's enough! Their extensive menu is full of tempting options, and the mouthwatering aromas made it hard to resist trying more. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area--perhaps for those onion rings next time! The bathroom had a sign on the wall with a picture of a toilet saying please seat yourself If you're in Los Alamos, don't miss out on this hidden gem!

A group of us went for dinner and I had the Western Burger and fries. The burger had good flavor with the ingredients tasting very fresh. Our food arrived quickly and I would definitely come back again to try one of the other sandwiches or burgers, if we are in the neighborhood. The only drawback to this restaurant was that they close at 7:30pm daily, a bit early for my dining habits. The steak itself was a large portion, served piping hot! The mashed potatoes are garlicky; not keen on sausage gravy on them for next time. The pork loin is also a large portion, snd it as well done as ordered. It was well seasoned and also piping hot at the table! The garlic bread was simple and delicious. A large slice of french bread, very buttery and a garlic flavor that stood out but did not overwhelm. Service was not lightning fast, but still very good, and especially friendly.
