Old Town Lompoc doesn't seem like the best neighborhood, but this restaurant is worth the trip…read more However, according to those who know the area, it is safe enough to walk in and the restaurant is a block from the police station. We drove over from Solvang on state highway 246, which was nice because we got to avoid the rush hour traffic and construction on 101. The round trip is not bad. The service was excellent. Iliana our server was very nice and attentive. We got the chicken and meatball soup and the pan seared salmon. The soup was just ok, not bad, but not super exciting. The salmon was excellent. It is normally served with hollandaise sauce, spinach, and mushroom over mashed potatoes. We subbed the potatoes for more veggies. The veggies were well seasoned, salmon coked well, and sauce was a nice compliment. Their Diet Coke cups were huge. They only have one toilet and someone was in there a super long time when we wanted to leave, so plan wisely if you need to go. We had to hold it all the way home. The lot has adequate parking. The bar is only beer and wine. The restaurant is not super visible coming from the east, so listen to your map app when to turn. We had a good experience and would come back when in the area again. Recommend you give them a try.

Got my food and was still a disappointment. But of course I'm not going to come off looking ungratfeul to my friend. I just had to suck up, bite my tounge and keep eating. Funny... it wasn't even busy and they still managed to F up the order and food.

I got a mushroom pizza for around 18 dollars and left a 3 dollar tip. When I left the restaurant…read morethe charge I approved was for 21 dollars but when I looked at my credit card bill I saw they had charged me 31 dollars. I don't know if this was malice or some sort of accident but they took 10 dollars from me. So I called the restaurant to report it and was told a manager would call me back which never happened. I would suggest saving your receipt when you go there and checking your credit card afterwards. Update : the manager reached out to me and compensated me for their mistake. I think it was an honest mistake. Also the food was good so I will be back.

To dine in a hotel lobby is usually to surrender to culinary mediocrity--a landscape of overpriced…read moreclub sandwiches and transient fatigue. What one does not anticipate stumbling upon is a stealthy, spectacular triumph of flavor hiding in plain sight. Let us begin with the revelations from the kitchen, which operates with a muscular generosity completely unbothered by its zip code. Consider the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. In lesser hands, these are a greasy, afterthought appetizer. Here, they are elevated to a robust study in textures: the shattering crispness of perfectly rendered pork fat giving way to the bright, vegetal heat of the pepper. It is an unpretentious masterpiece. The ribeye tacos follow suit, arriving with staggering, bountiful portions that mock the typical stinginess of hotel dining. The beef carries a charred, undeniable richness, proving that this kitchen harbors serious, hidden talent. Even the bar delivers a shock to the system: a Winter's Bourbon concoction that possesses a seasonal gravity and warmth you would expect from a velvet-roped speakeasy, not a lobby counter. Yet, to experience this hidden gem, one must navigate the bizarre, static theater of the front-of-house. Hospitality is, fundamentally, a kinetic art. It is a dance of invisible choreography, anticipating needs and clearing plates. The manager on duty, however, seemed entirely unaware of this requirement, remaining locked in a state of profound, almost geological stillness. Anchored to a single table and clutching a siren-branded Starbucks cup as if it were a talisman against actual labor, they never breached a five-foot radius. One longed to see them traverse the room--a brisk walk to inspect a corner booth, a sweeping pivot to direct traffic, or simply the basic physical act of placing one foot in front of the other to confirm they were, in fact, part of the restaurant's ecosystem. This visual dissonance extends to the bartender, who engineered my exceptional bourbon while engaged in the vigorous, open-mouthed mastication of chewing gum. It is a casual defiance of professional decorum that makes the drink's excellence all the more baffling. In the end, this restaurant is a profound paradox. It is a genuine, undeniable find--a place where you will feast remarkably well on ribeye and rendered fat. Just come prepared to marvel at the food, while wondering if the management might eventually remember how to walk.

It's always peaked my interest and so I got a discount code from door dash and my husband and I thought hey why not finally try florianos? We were super excited he got a lengua burrito and I got a chile relleno burrito. He ordered his with some jalapeno salsa and I added on mine some jalapeños as a free add on. We're very much fans of spicy food but when I tell you that they put so much spice I mean it was almost a punishment more than a meal. I first tried my husbands thinking it was mine and as much as it was good it immediately was disturbingly spicy. But I was like hey whatever he asked for the jalapeno salsa I mean we didn't say how much to put on. So I ignored it trying to stay unbiased because like I said I was eager to eat here for a while. I started eating my burrito and noticed it didn't have meat and honestly for $12 it's a bit wild in my opinion to charged that much for a burrito with no meat. But hey whatever I thought. Times are crazy inflation is high. Also I looked back on the app and it was a $3 charge for meat that I had missed when I was getting my order together so I blamed myself for that. The first half where the chile was, was good. A couple jalapeños here and there not too bad. I liked it the beans were good the rice was good but then I got to the second half of my burrito and I noticed a crazy amount of jalapeños. I started pulling them out and in the picture it shows how many jalapeños I pulled from just that part of the burrito. Keep in mind I've already ate a good amount of jalapeños already. It's like they poured a small can of jalepenos on my burrito. I stopped eating it and my husband tried finishing it for me without the jalapeños in it. He said it tasted like it was soaked in jalapeno juice. That being said I'm willing to try it again and hopefully whoever made it was just someone having a bad day. ‍
