Went to look for their truck but found their restaurant. Like someone said--storefront don't look like much. Menu was straightforward. Service was to the point, guy at the register didn't care for my small talk--all good. After ordering, I walked to the salsa bar (all the way on the other side of the restaurant) and what--mango salsa?! (The small talk cause cmon, how often do you see mango salsa at the salsa bar) + your typical salsa verdes and roja salsa + homemade pickled jalapeños onion peppers + extra onion & cilantro + limes and I'm sure something else. Got carne asada tacos with rice and beans on the side for the kid. Got a rice and bean plate with carne asada with a jalapeño and tortillas. I know it's literally the same thing but mine is just "deconstructed." The meat and beans were dry but had helllllllllla flavor so I'm not even mad. The beans just needed some liquid cause it was so dry it didn't touch/spill over on the rice. The carne asada was chopped up already but it needed some fat for moisture but nonetheless full flavor and spices! Will be back to try the other meats. read more

delicious! had a steak, chicken, sausage and al pastor taco and went back and get 1 more of each. After 8 tacos i had to hold off even thought my flavors were telling me to keep eating until i was stuffed. Also had a side of rice and beans. best part they also have a good salsa bar. i tried a different salsa for each meat and look for away to switching it up. thank you guys for good food with a good flavor. read more

This is hands down my favorite Mexican spot! I got the surf & turf burrito and the portions were perfect--super filling and delicious. I really liked the vibe too... they had good music playing and a soccer game on the TV, which made it feel even better. Super quick service and the place was really clean. What else can you say except delicious tacos and tortas. I've only tried the truck so I haven't gotten to try everything they offer but the tacos and the torta were great. Word to the wise, the truck only accepts cash and Venmo so come with according payment. The asada, carnitas and tongue were are cooked very well and you get plenty of meat in each. Good salsa though you need to specify hot otherwise you'll get a mild salsa. The torta came with beans, meat, lettuce tomatoes. I believe they offer avocado but have not tried it yet. They do give you plenty of salsa and napkins on the sides. Overall I highly recommend you try them out, whether the truck or restaurant, quality tacos and good price. read more

The first two things I noticed and loved about this place is their portion size, and the amount of guac/sour cream in the burritos. I feel like it's common for places to skimp out on the guac and sour cream despite being added on or as a side. But, not Super Grill. The proportions inside the burrito were perfectly placed. A friend posted a really delish looking burrito pic on Facebook, and I couldn't resist. Hubby and I tried it for lunch on one of our rare days in town together. We didn't even have time to look at the menu when we were asked for our order...young woman at the register sighed repeatedly and tapped while we read the choices. Very annoying. My steak taco was delish, shrimp taco terrible (pico de gallo mostly onions and jalapeños-all I could taste-and too hot for me) and hubby's pastor burrito barely mediocre...but the salsa bar was impressive. Came in wanting to try this place out after reading the good reviews and am terribly disappointed and dissatisfied. The cashier seem bothered by me being there and when I ordered one torta de carne asada she gives me a $14.96 total! I was like $14 bucks for one torta?!? That's when she realized she was charging me two. Still way too much for what I got. The bread wasn't toasted at all, I got more runny beans and brown lettuce than anything else. The carne asada had no flavor or color- so wasn't "asada" at all. Looks like I'll be cooking any Mexican food if this is the "best" Lompoc has. I won't be coming here again. read more

usually this place is great for TACOS, but this is the second time i've paid $7 for a veggie burrito that is advertised on the menu to include rice, beans, pico, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole inside- and what i've gotten is literally 2 lb's of rice, a scoop of beans and a sprinkle of lettuce and cilantro. this isnt as advertised, if you can- try to take the burrito apart in the togo container before you leave unless you want to pay $7 for rice in a tortilla. im not gonna be coming back for tacos for a while because i've wasted $15 on two wrong burritos and i dont like that i cant trust what i'm ordering here. read more

Just picked up from here for the first time and wow it's sooo good. I ordered the super burrito with chicken and avo and some shrimp tacos and the GF ordered chicken tacos. Staying at home has been garbage and getting some food to go was the break we needed. Finally! I have to say that I now have a new favorite taco place here in Lompoc. I don't have to go to Goleta or Solvang to have my cravings satisfied. The price is comparable, I just hope that they don't increase. It can get crowded here but the service is fast. The place is neat and well managed. I love their tacos, the cabeza, lengua and pastor are my favorites. Their condiments have good selections including pepino, mango salsa and other stuff. Ordered the asada fries. They were delicious. I believe they were hand cut steak fries with a homemade cheese sauce. Sauce might have some Velveeta in there, but it was super yummy and satisfying. The carne asada was good and they were generous with it too. Came with a side of ketchup and sour cream. They have a Salsa bar with a variety of fresh toppings like cucumbers, seasoned onions, radishes, mango salsa (very fresh and good) Will definitely come back just for these. Also had the tripas tacos (ordered extra crispy) and it was so good. Mar y Taco (asada with shrimp) was pretty good too. The only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because it took a while to get our food and they need to clean up the restaurant more. Also while we were eating the cashier started to clean by sweeping but the dust was flying up while we were eating and nobody wants dust in their food. Other than that...it was a good experience. UPDATE on my initial review went from a 4 Star Review to a 3 Star Review because they changed their Asada Fries so drastically. Previously they used hand cut potato fries to Store Brand Crinkle Cuts and from a homemade delicious cheese sauce to a out of the old can watered down Nacho Sauce. Should have kept it original! I was very disappointed ordering the fries again, expecting them to be just as deliciously delicious as the first time...and sadly, very sadly they were not. read more

It's the only place within walking distance of where I work that is not fast food, and most of the time I have to go hungry Because they can't stay as open for their entire posted hours. Brought my wife here for our 25th anniversary and didn't think much from the beginning. However, as we entered the restaurant I was amazed of the authentic Mexican atmosphere and food.
