My stepmom went to Wendy's which is always busy, so we usually go somewhere else. We decided to go there, and to preface I worked fast food for a while so I understand that lots of people is stressful and things get missed. Well, she ordered 2 of the Jalepeno popper chicken sandwich things and neither one had the poppers on it. On top of that, they weren't even the same mine has a tomato and the other doesn't so they didn't even fully make a regular sandwich which mind you is cheaper. So we played over $30 and $16 of it on just the 2 sandwiches which aren't even right. That's just not okay Wendy's and it's not like we are going to waste more gas to go fix an order. Take a look at the picture I shared a few months ago. At that time, I had hit the drive thru at lunch time and ordered a bowl of chili and small value meal burger. I'm not expecting much with fast food but I was expecting a little more than I bargained for. My chili, which includes ground beef typically, included a hamburger patty that looked like a bite or two had been taken off. This level of quality control makes me question what else is going on behind the counter. I haven't brought myself back to trying them again. The last three times you have to wait until they feel like helping you in the lobby. Only the drive thru gets average attention. Lobby people are attended only if bored i guess. Was excited to grab an old classic on a family Saturday afternoon. Very disappointed. The food was cold, cheese was cold. Fries(for dipping in frosty) were limp, saltless and barely warm. Frosties had a vague flavor of cleaner in them. Nothing redeeming or reminiscent of the Wendy's of my youth. Might as well close shop now since it seems that is the goal. read more

*UPDATE* While the food is generally fresh and service generally friendly, the wait in the drive-thru is both perplexing and inexcusable. Wait times are on average 10 to 12 minutes before even being able to PLACE an order and another 10 to 12 minutes before you move up to get it. 20 minutes drive-thrus are not fast food. Dropping a full star. *NEWLY REMODELED, NEW OWNERS* I personally have missed Wendy's since virtually every single one in Oregon closed due to mismanagement. Happy to see one has reopened in Eugene and been brought up to standard. By the extremely long lines I see virtually all times of day, I think I'm not alone. The food has been hot and fresh and the service friendly. I don't ask for much more when it's fast food. read more

As I took a bite out of my bacon cheese baked potato I noticed a nasty taste. I spit it out, looked closely at the potato and realized that there was 2,3 bugs in it. We called to make a complaint, they only offered to make another one and then said that it was one in a million chance of that happening and they laughed. I will NEVER EVER go back. read more

The fact that they are often jam-packed says a lot. It's funny to hear people whine about waiting 40 minutes for their food, even though they chose to wait that long and could see the long lines inside and out, when they pulled up. Grow up! 5 stars for a fast food place whose staff works hard, is consistently courteous AND is excellent (not perfect) at getting the drive-through orders correct and remembering incidentals (i.e. napkin), unlike virtually ALL of the local McD's, who get it wrong more often than right. So im a door dasher, i love wendy but this store, this store is the worst.. the customer service, the "mess-ups", an them having the audacity to tell there doordasher customers its not there fault if you get introuble with doordash if the food isnt ready on time. I simply asked how long until the order will be ready because the last time i went there i wait 35 min an got suspended from being able to door dash because they had to look into why my order took so long. I almost got deactivated over them taking to long an when i try an be nice the next time i went they were rude yet again. If you doordash, dont go to wendys. I'm excited that Wendy's has opened back up under new ownership! The staff is new and the place is crazy BUSY because everyone who used to be a fan are trying to get their Wendy's fix. Even so, I went on a busy night and had 7 cars in front of me and got my food in under 20 min. Give them time. This area obviously needs some other locations to open up. Lady taking my order rushed us and was very rude, when there is a newborn in your car you can't just drop everything to make somebody's 4 minute drive time. I've had nothing but good experiences at this specific Wendy's. These people have lines all the time and they do the best they can (which is pretty dang good). Overall, I would recommend it to friends and family for a tasty, fast bite to eat. read more

Update: been back a couple of times since my first review...still yummy AND they have a senior discount! It seems that you must ask for it though. And I added the last star for the discount. First thing....its Wendy's! We really missed Wendy's when they so rudely shut them all down in Eugene and Springfield. I never even liked Wendy's that much till it went away and then it became one of those things that lives on in your memory in a much greater form than when it actually existed. So, by now Wendy's gets an automatic 4 stars just for being Wendy's. Finally got over there tonight for the first time since the reopening. My husband said the drive through was about 7 cars long, and this was 8:00 on a Wednesday evening. We each had a double with cheese only (we are kind of like Burger purists..meat and cheese). The burgers were pretty good...fairly juicy, bun good, cheese melty. A great basic Wendyburger. Pretty yummy. That "Wendy's" flavor was there. We were happy. Fries...pretty good..the natural cut fries, I think. Considering the food had a 15 minute ride home, it was still really good. I'm anxious to try some of the other sandwiches..I always liked their chicken sandwiches. Overall, we were not disappointed. I feel like $16 for 2 doubles, small fries and 2 small frosties was a bit high but I shall be watching for coupons. Does Wendy's even do coupons? read more

I have been here probably 5 times since it has opened, and I have been pleased every time besides once (they forgot my drink). I know they're busy with the relaunch and I'm not going to complain about the 40 minute wait to just put in my order. What I really didn't like was the quality of the food I got. Service has sharply declined since this Wendy's first opened. Often, they forget the sauce with chicken nuggets. So many things wrong with this place! As a general disclaimer, It takes a lot for me to be angry with a fast food establishment. We went inside to order, there was no line but the kid at the cash register seemed too lost in thought to greet us or take our order at first. We got four combo meals, 1 small and 3 medium. The menu board only lists prices for small combos, so I was floored when the total came up to almost $40. I Would have much rather eaten at a sit down place for a few more dollars, it probably would have taken the same amount of time for the food to come. They put half of our food out and called our number. We substituted 2 of the medium sized combo drinks for frosties, but ended up with small frosties. I asked the spacey kid if they were supposed to be small drinks with a medium meal and he said no and that he would fix them. After a pretty long wait the rest of our food came out and the small frosties were still there. I asked the boy once more if we could get the right sized frosties and he said that they were medium ones (completely contradicting what he had told me before) so off we went with our tiny, half melted ice cream. When we got home, we realized the Mt. Dew that we ordered was really just an ice water, and one of the burgers had a long black hair inside if it. Gross. read more
