This place is located near the student dorms and on a visit to my child, we walked over for a quick bite to eat as we were craving some taquitos and chips. The place is a little dated and we were greeted right away by two women at the counter. We ordered a cheese enchilada, chicken taquitos and cheese nachos. Everything came out fast and tasted good. Only thing that came out not too hot was the cheese enchilada. The cheese was not melted in the inside. We ended up taking that home and stuck it in the microwave. Much better! I ordered a regular wet carne asada burrito and found a seat to sit down. All of the tables were slightly dirty so I went to their paper towel dispenser. It was empty. Everything must be prepared "to go" here because when I ordered I said "for here" and I still got everything set up to go. Ok I can deal with this stuff but it gets better. The salsa bottles in ice next to the fountain drinks have a bunch of dried nasty salsa on the lids and there were flies crawling all over them. The (very little bit of) carne asada in the burrito was old, dried out, and over salted. I thought that perhaps it was yesterday's meat. I ate the burrito and actually kind of gagged on my last couple of bites. Not a real great experience at all. Food received was made at noon. I have the receipt. It was delivered by Grub Hub at 5pm. It was ice cold and the tortilla chips were stale. I called to get it replaced and they said it couldn't be replaced. They tried to lay the blame on Grub Hub. I'm sorry but they didn't make you make the food at noon, for a delivery that was happening 5 hours later. They had an order sitting around for SEVERAL HOURS and no one questioned it. Decided to get carne asada tacos as they are my ultimate litmus test of a taqueria. Got my food quickly and they were kind enough to give me a choice of salsa - I chose green. Unfortunately, the tacos were quite underwhelming. The meat was downright dry. Onions and cilantro had little oomph, as though they were cut in the morning and left out all day. My partner and I decided to give Burrito Boy a try after pulling into a McDonald's. This location is pretty small but was very clean considering it was the middle of lunch hour. Our cashier was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the Adobada Burrito and Beth had the kid's enchilada and kid's bowl. My burrito was packed with Adobada, beans, and fresh salsa. It was very tasty but it was missing a little kick. I went back and grabbed the salsas on the counter. The orange salsa is habanero and the green salsa is jalapeno. Naturally I went for the habanero. It was super hot!! Beth had the jalapeno salsa and she like the flavor. She thought the Enchiladas hit the spot. We came here and got a rather large family meal we got two burritos, one bean tostada with Carnitas, order of taquitos, a child's Enchilada and and a chicken bowl. Between the four of us we got chicken, Carnitas, and Carna Asada. It was all so so under flavored as in none, zero flavor, If you asked us to guess what kind of meat that was and what kind of nationality the food was we would not have been able to identify any of it. The taquitos were filling- less & so hard we could not eat them, then the bean taquito had no flavor, the beans were just mush. All Burrito boy locations rip you off!! They claim one serving of bacon inside the breakfast burrito is a 4 oz serving. On average (depending on thickness) that would equal 4 strips of bacon. Every time I order a burrito it's stuffed with nothing more than a bunch of potatoes (cheap filler) a few eggs and a few slivers of bacon. I ask them to make certain to give a full portion because the previous times there is next to no bacon, but it's still the same story. When you pay for double bacon you still receive the SAME inadequate Portion size. Avoid this cheap, chintzy, flavorless garbage!! read more

My girlfriend and I had a hankering for a burrito and decided to try this place out, since we are from out of state and a friend recommended it. It was a little bit of a wait, but we got our freshly made Burrito Boys served with habanero sauce on the side to-go. Overall, it's a solid wrap with layers of ingredients like beans, cheese, choice of meat (mine was Chile Verde which was tender and a bit spicy), sour cream, and rice. The tortilla held together well. Each bite left a nice flavor that worked well. It was very filling. We actually saved half of our burritos for a late night snack. There aren't always great options when it comes to late night dining, fortunately my brother-in-law suggested this place when we arrived after a long day of flying. When we arrived we were the only ones in the place. All the typical Mexican favorites can be found here. I went with the Taquitos with shredded beef. They were really flavorful and friend to perfection. The meat was tender and the order was just the right size (4 total). Really liked the salsa that was served with the chips. I didn't like that you had to pay for chips and salsa separately, but it really wasn't too much and they were really good, and we were really hungry and it was nice to have the snack before our meal was ready. Great little Mexican Dive joint that I would come to anytime I was in the area. By the way, the burritos (my gf's son had one) was enormous and he spoke when we asked him if he liked it (he's a teen --- he really liked it). Worth trying out. read more
