This place was well reviewed, so we decided to make this the spot this time around. Ordering was done up front, but there were tables to sit at. Missus ordered while I took photos, and the food came out relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. Sweet potato fries were the highlight. Hand cut, fried and seasoned. With ranch, they were really good. The burger and hot god were good in terms of quality and quantity. The condiments were a little overpowering though, ended up taking over a lot of the dish and really muddled the meat. The meat itself was lightly seasoned, relying on the condiments to bring the flavor. Not bad, but all elements should bring their own identity and add to a meal. The burger felt absent, and although flavorful was lacking that extra bit of salt or fat to make it truly shine. It's not bad at all, just lacking. Everything else was good, the price easily reasonable for the quality. It was just missing those finishing touches to be truly great

It was also great to see they even had some of the old arcade games to play for free, I wanted to play but didn't, because all I'm thinking of is people eating with their hands and then touching the controls with unclean hands, maybe it's just the post covid era Only recommendation I have would be to have a hand sanitizer near the game. Long John Silver's

I don't generally review fast food spots, but this is one of the most absurd drive thru experiences…read moreI've had in recent years. I used to like Long John Silver's when I was young and I haven't had it in years. I drove by this combo Long John Silvers and Taco Bell in Plainville and decided to hit the Drive Thru. There was no line to order and no cars between me and the pickup window. There was a fairly normal Taco Bell Menu and a separate low tech menu listing certain Long John Silvers combo meals. It didn't seem like it was a complete menu. I said "I'd like to get a Fish and Chips." The person taking my order said "what do you want?" I thought maybe they don't use the word "chips" at LSJ, so I said "a Fish and Fries." She accepted this order and said it would cost "$2.25", which seemed very low. I was in somewhat of a hurry, so I decided to just go with it, and I was curious about what they were going to give me for $2.25. I drove right to the window and paid. I didn't check my clock, but what seemed like about 10 minutes passed and a line started to form behind me. She asked me to drive around front and said she would bring my order there. I parked in front and waited about another 10 minutes without getting my food. Within those 10 minutes, another car appeared from the Drive Thru area and also parked out front. I had finally lost patience and time, and I started to drive away since I needed to be somewhere and didn't care that much about the $2.25. As I started, an employee came outside with a bag and gave it to the other car. I said "I've been waiting here for about 10 minutes for my food and about 20 minutes since I ordered. Do you have my food?" She said she didn't and that she doesn't "make the food". I told her I was leaving. So what would I have gotten for my $2.25 if I had had an indefinite amount of time to wait? I will never know. What did I get for my $2.25? A mildly interesting story. Very mildly. Maybe not even that. 1 Star

I really appreciated seeing a manager so hands-on and attentive. The food came out almost as soon as we finished paying, and everything was hot and fresh. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, as they always are when I visit this location. The entire restaurant was clean and well-maintained, including the restroom.
