The light on the left side of the menu has been out for the last 5 months and nothing has been done about it. That makes it almost impossible to order anything good at night unless you bring a flashlight with you. 12-5-21 If you see a lot of cars in the drive thru... and you HAVE to eat... stay in the drive thru. If you go inside and there's 3-4 people in front of you.... You'll have about a 25-30min wait to get your good. The service is SLOOOOOW... it has not changed. 1.11.21 I was here a few days ago on Friday January 8th 2020 I haven't had their chili in years. I actually forgot they even offered chili. That's how long I haven't had it since forever ago. I remember liking it so much in the past. I'm talking years ago. So I'm sure you know what's coming next. Yup. This chili was so not good. You could taste that it came right out of a plastic bag and then heated up. It had no dimension of flavor or complexity at all. It was pure heartburn and a total lack of taste and flavor profile. It was unfortunately more like slop than anything. I'm sorry to say but just keeping it real. Yeah I know there are those of you saying, what do you think you're getting? Gourmet? That's not what I'm saying at all. There are other things I actually do enjoy from Wendy's believe it or not. But this chili that they sell is definitely not one of the things I enjoy. Not at all. I dare to say it's bad. In my defense a good Yelp friend suggested it to me since she got it the same night. Only difference is that she is down in southern Florida. Right near Hialeah. I've only used the drive thru here so I can't comment on the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. The drive thru is fairly quick. I have also had issues with receiving cold burgers on more than one occasion. This parking lot here it very funky. It's due to the construction going on right next door which makes a difficult entry/exit to this store. The staff at the drive thru have always been decent though. Nothing above or beyond. But also nothing wrong or bad with their service either. After all we all know what to generally expect with quick service fast food locations. We don't go there for the ambiance or the stellar service. It's usually a quick fix to fill a void or that quick bite to eat on break or whenever the need arises. Ordered on line today for store pickup went to get order said no order received, then they said order picked up by Door Dash. Went home no order check credit card charged for order. Then I called twice and just let phone ring finally some one picked up asked for Manager who was just as rude as window person if it was the manager. He said they found the order and would redo if I came back to pick it up so I did. Order bacon double burger, no bacon no cheese ice cold and no bigger than a child's burger, fries were ice cold. In all honesty the only reason why I go here is it's the only Wendy's semi close to me. That being said, the food is horrible and the employees even worse. I've never left a review for them because it is fast food and you get what you get from these places. Ordered food tonight through grubhub, who also is a horrible service with the enormous amount of fees they charge and refuse to refund when there is a screw up. Tonight the order was missing the main burgers that came with each combo. It was missing the added premium bun and bacon with the crispy chickens. Both JR Bacon burgers were falling apart and the wrappers was coming off. And the baconator fries were absolute garbage. Mostly everything thrown out. So basically I just paid about $34 in grub hub fees to get a couple cookies and a frosty. Wendy's.... hire some better staff. When you can't even complete an order for food you seriously need to re-evaluate your skills as a competent human being. Grub Hub... You should be ashamed of the amount of greed you have with charging the fees that you charge and not refunding them when there is a mess up with the order. I don't write a lot of reviews. I felt I had to. From the person on the microphone to every person I encountered was so overly nice! I had to ask for Cheryl's name. She was so very friendly, she was at the register at window #1 and she opened the window with a big smile , complimented my outfit, asked how my day was. She was just refreshing! Then when I got my order it was fast and the two women that gave me my order were also very friendly and accommodating when I forgot to ask for sauce. Fast food is fast food but the workers here are very customer service savvy! It was nice to just see a smile and the little extra. read more

BEST WENDYS AROUND. Ok i know this sounds crazy but i tried the following Wendy's Plainville Wendy's - dries are always mooshy and cool. Pieces of meat are small chicken not very crispy Southington Wendy's - meat isn't as fresh tasting West Hartford Wendy's - the one across from west farms mall. It's ok but their fries don't taste fresh the meat is good though pieces of meat are kind of small Ok now the Bristol Wendy's - the fries are always fresh and crispy they taste fresh. Same with the meat! Their spicy chicken sandwich is always crispy and the pieces of meat are big! We live in Farmington and go to Bristol for Wendy's i know i sound crazy but it's worth the drive. read more

Fastest Wendy's around. Especially late night. Quality is always excellent and food is hot. They never mess up my order and always have sauce in bag. Here's why I gave them 5 stars. To me a drive thru should be fast. That's the concept. Fast food. Also when I go at night they keep the line moving and it's even faster. That's what matters to me. I don't wanna see a mile of cars in front of me cause the workers are lost and lazy kids. Compared to plainville it's night and day. Plainville is the worst in the state I believe. This Wendy's quality is also 1000 times better then Southington. Bristol is the best Wendy's in area hands down. Not close. Keep it you guys! Messed up my order three times in a row. I went back nicely asking two times for a new order they were beyond rude i definitely do not recommend coming here. Considering that I told them i had an allergy and they still gave me cheese when I clarified I was allergic. Fries are usually nice and piping hot due to good volume of customers here. But today, I find that someone watered down the chili. Wendy's has great chili. I know the consistency. This Wendy's location is incredibly slow, workers move around at a very slow pace when getting orders ready. I told the cashier my whole order and read it off my notes app as I had a bigger order and she got 75% of it wrong. She was short of hearing so I made sure to speak loud and clear and she still got it wrong. Forgot two sides, and received two items I didn't even ask for it...Very disappointed. read more

Belated review. Was there a few months ago grab the Baconator took one bite it tasted spoiled and the meat didn't look right. Returned it said please cook me a fresh Burger. They literally gave me another burger inside of 60 seconds I knew I was going to get the same type of bad Burger. It was better but I could only eat half of it I was so disgusted and grossed out. Ended up getting either salmonella or something else my stomach was upset for three days from just one bite of that burger. I had a similar experience with a chicken sandwich last fall same location. It had a filmy coating to it and also definitely was not cooked enough. It grossed me out after three bites and I threw the sandwich out. I was in the restaurant business for 10 years when I was younger so I know when food is spoiled. I'm sure all Wendy's are not as bad as this one but I will never go back to any Wendy's again. After Chipotle's had salmonella twice in one year I have never gone back it's not worth the risk. read more

Wow cool place who knew that little red head girl on the sign could cook I wish they sold big Mac like they do at McDonald's

Service was very friendly and quick, however the quality of my food was terrible. I ordered a Dave's Hot N' Juicy and it was not smothered but drenched in Mayo to the point were when I opened the wrapper it was literally oozing out from all directions. After flipping the bun over to further inspect the sandwich I was shocked to see the most disgusting mess of torn tomato, thin pickles, shriveled onion and soggy lettuce all just thrown about and bathed in mayo and some strange clear liquid (hopefully grease...). It was completely inedible unless you like to eat grease and mayo by the spoonfuls. Threw the sandwich away and will not return to any Wendys for a long time. read more
