If I could leave no stars I would. I went to this location June.3.2026 for lunch around 1pm. I ordered a sandwich and 5 pc nuggets for my son. We ate some food in our car this consisted of my sandwich and my son had two nuggets. We drove home and I took out the nuggets from the bag to give to my son placing the chicken nuggets on his place I notice this white little patch on the nugget I first thought it was just chicken but I looked closer ... immediately realized it's LARVAE (EGGS) from a fly or something I felt NAUSEATED my son and I already consumed some food. I am disgusted the food was never out for anything to land on it, it was stored in the box it came in for the drive home and the box has slits not holes. I will never be able to eat here again I want to let people know because this is disgusting and unacceptable. The drive dru window/doorway is wide open and things can get in and affect our food. Come to this one a lot. My mom likes chatting with older fella who working the dinning rm cleaning up and being friendly. We use app and go right to table love that option. Feel bad can't remember the older fellas name he's super nice, friendly, and works really hard. And seems to make customers happy someone interacts with them. Service is good food rolls out fast. Out of a lot of Chick-fil-a's I goto this one always annoys me with the management. The manager guy here is snippy and doesn't seem to respect the employees he barks at him with his stern tone. Chick-fil-a is all decorated for the holiday in Southington. I went there today to grab a quick bite for my daughter after school. We went threw the drive through and even though the lines tend to be long they move super quickly! They actually have 2 drive through lanes which is excellent! She ordered the 12 count chicken nuggets with waffle fries and a coke with chick-fil-a sauce. The nuggets were fresh, crispy yet tender. The waffle fries were huge and yummy. And not only is my daughter is obsessed with the chick- fil- a sauce (which we always ask for extra of) she also loves the ice they serve with their soft drinks. They also serve great salad, sandwiches and my favorite thing they have is the milkshakes! This month they have a seasonal peppermint one that looks good! We love coming to Chick-fil-a! I confess, this review is a little-late-in-coming. However, I felt compelled. I have not eaten at any Ckick-fil-a since they made their way to the Northeast. The reason being, is when I traveled down South on business in the past. I always made an effort to stuff myself with their Chicken-on-a-Biscut breakfast sandwich every day I was there. However today it was time to try their lunch I ordered the "Chick-fil-A Deluxe Chicken Sandwich Meal". It was downright delicious. Everything was fresh, ample and very tasty. And being a Fry-Guy, I have to say, I'm digging the waffecut fries. All in all, great food, polite staff and exceptionally clean facility. To top it off after completing my meal. It came with Jalapeño Salsa that was very good and had a nice kick (much better than "picante" and added a lot to the item). Chicken biscuit is great. I may even add the jalapeño salsa to the biscuit I ordered iced coffee and their standard way of making it is with cream (I drink black). I waited until I had a few visits to this location before writing a review. I went when it first opened, then a few months later, and today. (I'm not a big fast food fan so took me a while, lol) All three visits the service was spot on. Always greeted with a warm and friendly smile and always polite. Food has always been fresh and looked presentable upon opening; never looked like it was just slapped together. I've read reviews that the fries are soggy. I wouldn't say soggy, but they are less then crisp, but I believe that is just the nature of this chain. If you want super crispy, these waffle fries are not that, but I will say they are "meaty" and perfectly done. One last comment and probably not what you would expect but this chain has THEE BEST ICE for their drinks!!! It's crushed and would be killer in their iced coffee. The food is average for a chicken sandwich. I honestly think that Wendy's makes a better chicken sandwich. If you are a lover of waffle fries then this place is for you. In my recent takeout experience this location neglected to include a chicken sandwich and I wasn't smart enough to check the bag before driving 20 minutes home. I explained that I had already waited 15 minutes for my pickup and didn't want to drive back 20 minutes for a sandwich that should have been included in the first place. I understand mistakes happen but takeout should include a redundant audit system to verify all items were included. The order was not complicated; 4 of the same chicken sandwiches and 4 waffle fries. In the end they refunded me the one sandwich but it was not worth the hassle and I won't go back. Obviously this place has a solid marketing team since the lines prove their popularity. There was nothing to say wow about. The chicken sandwich tasted like a Wendy's chicken sandwich. It didn't stand out. Each meal set me back over $7. Again, nothing great, and the price was kinda expensive for what I got. I didn't have anything to bring for lunch today, so on my way into work I stopped on Queen St (since they have so many options for quick grabs). Since this was 8:45 A.M., not a lot of places were serving lunch yet. I walked into this establishment & asked - the woman behind the counter said they could serve lunch, it would just be about a 10 min wait for my food. No worries! First off, this establishment is really clean from the dining perspective. When I was grabbing a straw and ketchup, I noticed that they had a little pile of those throw away place mats for baby/toddlers; as a soon-to-be mom, I really appreciated that and had no idea that they even offered them! Secondly, the staff that was there this morning were wonderful! The girl that rang out my order was very friendly and honest. I ended up getting the grilled chicken sandwich - my go to - and tried some hash browns just to get something in my stomach. This was my first time trying any of Chic Fil A's breakfast menu, and although they were just hash browns they were delicious: not greasy, crispy but not dried out, and they didn't taste frozen! Got some Chick-fil-A today for the first time ever. Waffle fries were really good but not great. Mac & Cheese was probably the best fast food/grocery store Mac & Cheese I've had which means it was just good compared to home made or restaurant quality. Chicken Sandwich was good but not great. See a trend here? Everything was as expected but I was hoping for more from the chicken. Don't get me wrong, this piece of chicken was fairly moist and very tender but the breading lacked flavor. I could clearly taste a very unseasoned piece of chicken. Combined with a buttered roll and a couple of lazy pickles it gets a solid 3 stars all day long. Would I return to Chick-fil-A? As others mentioned, generally, Chick-fil-A is a well run establishment. I found their food delicious, crispy, warm, friendly, courteous and efficiently run, including the original ones in the South, and even newly ones opened in Manhattan, where the service is demanding due to high foot traffic and a diverse crowd from locals to tourists all over the world to please. Yet it's operation is seamlessly run as what they are known for. So when we saw this Chick-fil-A off the highway, we were so happy there was a CFA. But ended up very very disappointed! The fries were soggy. Their ketchup packs in the condiment counter had bbq sauce spilled all over, making it unacceptable compared to CFA's reputation of cleanliness. They also ran out of other condiments that I had to ask for assistance. That means the manager is not running this chain properly. Meanwhile, the entire time, we witnessed the store manager was only interested in pleasing only one specific ethnicity group, making a point not to approach every table, only selected tables with our ethnic group only (the majority), asking our opinions selectively, if they were happy with their food. Unfortunately, it kinda backfired. Those he asked took too much of his time. They took advantage of his "pleasing" demeanor, where he was busy unnecessarily. Funny enough, the ones he approached took up on his offer and he replenished with a whole new sandwich when entire sandwich was almost consumed and that's when the customer suddenly realized, "oh yeah since you asked" she realized after eating almost the entire sandwich she is "now missing tomatoes." Same with two others, who came together decided to have him replace their fries 3 times! Yes, you heard me right, three times they claim the fries were soggy (as I would agree, but didn't ask for replacement) and each time they almost finished their fries before they complained bout it being soggy. The point is not that a manager should not be pleasing customers, but he ended up being the one who is running around like a chicken without a head instead of managing his store better. The ones he kept trying to "over" please took up precious time instead of streamlining his operating chain. And he personally offered to take their garbages to dispose rather than utilizing his supervisor role to run it better. Would not recommend this particular CFA. A previous reviewer "Jose C" is right that its better to eat at other CFA. For others who tried CFA for the first time and thought Chick-fil-A chicken does not taste good, it's only because this particular chain is poorly run and managed. They're very courteous and I'm not going to judge the food after taking a 10-15 minute drive to bring it home, but I find that there are too many errors with mobile ordering. I don't come here that frequently but it's maybe a 60% success rate. If you're going to do a mobile order, check the bag before you leave.
