Drove over and walked through the take-out door. Saw a pizza get pulled out of the oven and set on the counter. Cheese was bubbling and the smell confirmed I was in the right space. Placed my order for a mixed topping pizza and an eggplant parm grinder. chatted with the folks behind the counter while I waited. Nice people. Pizza got taken back to my temporary home and it was everything I expected and more. Saved my eggplant parm grinder for lunch on Sunday. Restaurant eggplant usually disappoints but this was actually some of the best I've ever had and I've had lots. It's one of my absolute favorite dishes and I make it at least every other week. There are a lot of pizza spots dotting the landscape. This is one dot on the map that I would revisit. Sadly, I'm back home in California where we have nothing that even comes close to Dimitri's.
