Waited 15 mins for my order and they forgot my drink. I paid for a large Coke and there's no coke. I called the store 4 times and there was no answer. I paid $20 for this meal when i didn't get the $3 and some change drink that was added to my bill. read more

This place needs to hire more people. I spent 20 minutes at the drive through. No one ever answered at the speaker so I had to call the restaurant to pick up my order. Staff is always nice. I hate giving a bad review. read more

Please permanently close this sh*thole. Employees are stupid and rude, food is straight garbage. Drive up only and they keep the blinds pulled all the way down so you can't see inside. Always a good sign when the restaurant doesn't let people see inside the restaurant . I ordered 1 item. A burger. I left and opened my bag to find some type of chicken sandwich that was not edible. I'm actually embarrassed that I live in the same town as this dump. Hopefully they bulldoze this joint and put up a memorial honoring all the people that have gotten food poisoning. read more

this is my second time going to sonic in Farmington Bristol CT experience wasn't worth it the meal price. . I have to wait for an attendant outside on the screen for a long time without response. Then I moved to the drive thru thinking that she will be nice to answer my questions, she instead left me unattended then a guys voice was asking me for what I want again. No apologize. When I got to the window, no one was there for a while. A girl came to collect the money, no greeting, I explained to her what type of tots I wanted she left me waiting again. I really think it wasn't worth it a 19 something dollars meal plus all this attitude like I was getting it for free. read more

First and foremost shout on Ben Pinson. We've learned alot and your words have held an immense value to us in this review. That being said you were DEAD wrong. Off first sip I could see how you could mistakenly identify this as a BLACKBERRY slush. Once educated by an intelligent Sonic representative, that the drink you were consuming was in-fact COTTON CANDY. It becomes inadvertently clear in our taste pallete, dont know where you went wrong. Just to conclude, the fact you kept spreading false narratives that this drink tastes like "grape kool-aid" is to be frank, disgusting to say the least. We dont want to speak on this for any longer it is causing strain in the relationship and we just cannot afford that as of right now. Our experience however, we're not really sure. Off rip my date stumbled over his words at the drive through. We were delighted to know that the blackout slushie was still available even though april 8th came and went (ask dana, long story) We got got on the small size though (again) you and dazzling pho should hit a collab, both just pissed us off. Peep other reviews. Hella cream everywhere in my car. No seriously, the slush to cream ratio was just abysmal. Definitely would like a better performance next time. To be frank, we did devour it bad bad bad. We also tapped into boba today, we are ashamed dont bring it up (touchy topic) ITS TWO SPOONS (shoutout sweet frog) AND ITS COTTON CANDY. read more

We've never gotten a correct order here. Staff is usually rude. Even ordering just a cherry limade leaves you waiting for a bit and they manage to serve that wrong. It's sad really. read more

Manager started yelling at a customer in the drive thru window while getting my order over fries that he wasn't given in his combo order extremely disappointing and a scary experience not worth going she even told the customer she was going to call the police if he didn't leave situation could of been handled better than that read more

Still great! I remember when our first Sonic opened in Wallingford. Stalls, roller blades, the whole panache :-) Food is still great although loaded with sugar - nothing wrong from time to time. The churro milk shake is excellent and their new pickle selections (fried pickles and pickle burger). Still great, still recommended :-) read more

I love Sonic they're food is so amazing I love it so much wish there was one closer to me

This place was closed and looked closed for good. Too bad cause we were looking for a nostalgic Sonic to remember old times. This was not it! read more

The staff are really rude and they get my order wrong and I once I threw up!!! Do not go here!!!!!!

It's truly shocking how slow this place is. I should have read the reviews before coming here. Will not ever come here again. I'm writing this from the drive through. 1 shake and I've been waiting 20 minutes. Update: 35 min wait. And what wonderful service! Not even a sorry about the wait. Awful service and awful employees. read more

The food is good everyone but the service is terrible. I ordered for pickup and set to the stalls and they never showed at the time my food was supposed to be ready, so I had to call and ask why my food wasn't ready and they said that the stalls were closed but the stall should have said it was closed. So I went through the drive through and waited almost a half hour in line for my food finally. Food came out ready and hot but fast food should be fast read more

Poor service, I ordered an Ocean Water with Nerds no Nerds were in the drink. My hamburger order only was with lettuce and onions they still added other toppings. I don't recommend this location. NO ICE CREAM AND IT WAS 9:30 IT CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT NO CHILI DOGS FOR THE CHILI DOGS!!!!!!! read more

ordered ahead and still waited almost an hour in the drive thru line... do not recommend read more

This review is on nothing but their ice cream products & drink which are an A plus plus! The Oreo Blast is so so good. The strawberry slushes & sweet tea great!!!! I stopped getting the regular food & my 1 star rating went to a 5 no doubt! read more

I pulled and made my order when I was 26 years old, waited and received my order when I was 32. That's how slow they were. Pulled away, they forgot my tater tots and my kids fries. If you're going to be slow at least take the time to get the other right. read more

it seems from the other reviews I'm reading I'm not alone in expecting Sonic to be more than your regular fast food restaurant. I guess if you go in with low expectations you won't be disappointed. My son has been seeing commercials for a while on Nickelodeon promoting Sonic & some Spongebob kids meal so we had to go while passing through CT recently. I remember going to a Sonic in Texas a few years ago & being impressed so we had to try it. I was expecting Five Guys quality but ended up getting Wendy's quality maybe. My milkshake was pretty damn good though & my son had no problem eating his fries. But again, just your regular quality fast food. Nothing earth shattering! The servers were friendly & helpful but the rollerblades is a gimmick that does nothing for me. They were happy to get us extra condiments & even gave my son a balloon. The location still looks brand new & I do like the flat screen TVs inside. The ordering was a bit confusing but it was my first trip there. It would've been neat to sit out in the car to eat I suppose but there was no room. The place was jamming for a Friday night but I think once the novelty of being new wears off people won't be so excited to go. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - BRISTOL, Connecticut

I see Connecticut still isn't over the Sonic novelty and still expect some super-epic experience. It's fast food FFS. Stop expecting a five star dining experience at a glorified Burger King with an extensive drink menu. Temper your expectations a bit and you won't be disappointed. That said, Sonic is pretty damn good every once in a blue moon when I want some junk food. I always order a blue coconut slush with chocolate. I'm angry that Pickle-O's are not on the menu anymore at ANY Sonic. They were awesome...more places should serve fried pickles. read more

So far so good for Sonic. Good service and fresh fast food. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Corn dogs! - Burgers Near Me - BRISTOL, Connecticut

No stars! Don't stop. Keep driving. Eat somewhere else. Barely any customers and waited 50 mins with no food. All we ordered was BOGO boneless wings, 1 corn dog and 2 shakes. They never bothered to tell us they didn't have "Cheesecake" for one of the shakes until we asked after 45 mins what was going on with our order. Regional manager showed up after we waited 50 mins to do damage control as all customers wanted there money back. Other customers waiting longer than us. Won't stop here EVER again. read more

Drive-thru was a little slow but they had great customer service and man were those chicken sandwiches cooked to perfection with crispy flakes. The pretzel twist was soft like they just took it out the oven. This was my first time going to this location and it definitely WILL NOT BE MY LAST read more

What happened to the roller skate service at all Sonics in CT. Now they take the fast food experience to next level slow. Once you place your order you have to wait more than usual. They need to convert sonic into a dinning with drive through service fast food establishment. read more

Just Horrible. Went there for lunch, I had a half hour. Pulled in the stall (Carhop service) pushed the button. Waited. Light went out. Pushed the button another 2 times with the same result. Ok maybe this stall is broken. Pulled into another one. Pushed the button again 3 times. Half my lunch is now gone. Getting frustrated now decided I would just go through the drive-thru. Pulled up, asked if their stalls were broken and they said sorry yes. I don't know maybe put an out of order sign or some yellow tape to let customers know? Or hell maybe even say something over the speaker that they are not running.. Alright anyway I'll take a burger. Nope grill is down. What?? Now I'm stuck in the drive thru and my lunch is over. Horrible experience. Won't go back. read more

This place couldn't suck anymore if they tried. For real. I brought my daughter here as a "treat" for lunch. Yeah, it was magical. I spent 10 minutes waiting for someone to talk to me on the speaker. Just about ready to drive off and they appeared to actually be open. My bad assuming someone would be around on a Sunday at 1pm. I then spent another 10 minutes waiting for food. A kid's meal, a small order of mozz sticks and a plain cheeseburger ran me $13. Give me a break. My daughter liked her food but then it isnt really hard to screw up a grilled cheese and fries. My burger was just that - a meat patty and bun with nothing else on it. Which just left me feeling pissed - $13 for a meal not even worth $1 anywhere else. Sonic, you have lost your appeal. The only thing worth getting here is the ice cream and with this location, I wouldn't even trust them to do that. read more

Just a really bad Sonic... I'm not even going to go into all the specifics. I don't know why I keep going back. Have probably been there 7-8 times & have never had a normal fast food experience. I've emailed Sonic about it... nothing changes. Slow service, messed up orders, etc. I grew up in an area with Sonic... this one should close or change management. Our latest visit... waited 10 min in drive through (me & 1 other car) & got a footlong coney with 2 6" hot dog buns. Classy establishment. read more

Wow.... Now I know this is simple fast food. No biggie there. Little better than mc Donald's and such which is just fine to me. My one star is only because this is the SLOWEST sonic I've been to in my life. AND IM THE ONLY ONE HERE!!!! Lol. Also was just told I was helped by the manager to take my order. Holy miserable!!! Won't be coming back here anytime soon. read more

Its simply horrible.Honestly with so many other places to eat within a mile why would anyone ever eat here? BURGER KING is not good but its twice as good as sonic. Also you have a Wendy's practically next store. There's a chili's and and Pantera bread and a subway within a quarter mile. Dont eat here you could do so much better. read more

This restaurant double charged my card and made every excuse as to why they would not make things right. All the manager did was to offer me a coupon for a free cone if I drive to their location- no thank you! Sonic took my money twice and now I have to report their fraudulent translation with my credit card. Shame on Sonic for cheating their customers!!! read more

I ordered a slushy and found toenail clippings in it I am soooooooooooo disgusted. but other than that the slushy tasted great the clippings gave it a little more taste. read more

Standard fast food. Bacon double cheeseburger was better than McDonalds and BK but not nearly as good as Wendy's or any number of other burger places. Drinks are still awesome but that's about it. Felt like garbage the next day though. Will be avoiding Sonic for health reasons other than if I want something good to drink. The 3 stars are based on drinks alone. Oh and the hot dogs are tasty too. read more

The food is good when they actually get the orders right, I don't mind that much because it's a bunch of kids working for a terrible, miserable boss that just abuses her staff. Not to mention they actually steal money from their employees' accounts I order a hot dog with JUST cheese and they give me one with mustard and cheese, I ask if I could just get another one without the mustard, I get one without mustard and cheese. I ask if I could get the cheese back on it and they gave me a hot dog with cold cheese and at that point that's what I ate because I was just a bit annoyed at that point? Also messed up my drink that I ordered for someone else read more

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. They closed the stalls at 10:10pm and they do not close until 11 pm. We asked them why they closed early they said because "they felt like it". To top it off they said they HAD NO ICECREAM OR SLUSHIE machines working at the time. Dude it's SONIC...that's the only reason people go here. read more

Been waiting in the parking lot for like 30 minutes after pressing the button and ever since I ordered it's taking forever to get my order ... and I hit the red button again to let them know and it's now taking another 30 minutes for them to just answer the red button to hear me ask where the food is... terrible service read more

Food is great (when you get what you ordered), but the time waiting is UNBELIEVABLE! Always a long wait.

I've been here a few times but this Drive-In restaurant is the reason for me download this app. The food was great the service was good until the forgot my ranch and honey mustard. I pressed the button on the screen, and notified them. I'm expecting someone to run outside with these items, but nothing 3-5 mins go by I can't indulge with out the accommodation. So I had to go in myself and get it. I was super upset I had to get out my car at a drive-in restaurant with only three cars in the ports. Food awesome service terrible.(not completely) read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - BRISTOL, Connecticut

This place is disgusting. I've gotten food poisoning from here eating the burgers, the only reason I come here is for the slushes. I've given them a second chance today and ordered tots and fries, my tots tasted like they had been sitting there since 7am this morning and it was given to at 8pm after I've been waiting in line for food for 10m. Shut it down read more

We always go inside the restaurant instead of using the drive thru or car ports. We always have great service! We drive from Torrington just to have sonic as a little treat:) I had the chicken sandwich, and it was delish! read more

No person with any amount of self respect would ever eat 99 percent of the food here (or any sonic for that matter.) The corn dogs, French toast sticks, and the pickle o's are passable for a quick snack but that's about it. I once ordered cheese fries and the cheese was cold and solidified over the fries forming a skin. GROSS. Returned that and got my money back. The milkshakes and the slushes sound amazing because they have so many delicious sounding flavors, but they're not. They're incredibly disappointing. Only thing worth getting is the cherry limeade. read more

Slowest fast food service ever! I was craving a butterfingers sonic blast so I headed over after a long day of work. I asked for two orders at the drive thru as I had another person ordering separately from me. The drive-thru informed me I would have to go to the car port for more than one order. I waited at the car port for 5 min before pulling into the drive-thru again and sending the other party inside. Total wait time was 20 min for a small order. Don't waste your time. Go to Wendy's, Frankie's or Chili's. I'm sure you'll have faster service and better food. read more
