first and foremost when I got to the drive-through I it still breakfast time the lady at the intercom stated that it is lunchtime so I got out of the truck and changed the post sign to lunch sign second she up charge me I told her I wanted a five dollar biggie bag which comes with a small drink. I never I wanted a large drink when I got to the window. I handed her my credit card. It was towards the end. I noticed that I got a bigger drink. can you guys please stop doing this illegal activity without specifying to the customer that you're up charging them and also not to mention my flies were extremely cold. By far the worst Wendy's location I've been too, the problem starts at the top with management and trickles down from there. Given this location many tries, but something always gets forgotten foods always cold despite "just being made" not to mention your lucky if your drive trough experience is shorter than 20 minutes. Fast food places are notorious for bad reps, but I happen to be a fan of Wendy's salads, and this particular location has served me pretty well over the years; albeit, a few glitches here and there with the Wendy's app to order ahead or gain points. The staff in the drive-thru have always been polite to me and, the manager there has always been on top of things. While I am one to frequent the drive-thru of this location, I cannot comment on the inside; however, it should be noted that there are no violations currently reported for their last inspection. I give that a high mark. The only drawback I have encountered is scanning the QR code before paying cash at this location. They are either not scanning correctly or their scanner isn't working. I have at least four receipts currently in my possession that I asked the drive-thru employee to scan my QR code on the app on my phone BEFORE I paid cash, but the transaction is not showing on my app account and, I have not received reward points for these receipts. I don't wish to always order ahead on the app and pay with a cc on the app. Sometimes, I'd like to pay cash (while we're still able to do so.) In any case, the scanner situation needs to be addressed. All in all, I have been very happy with my food, the presentation of it, and all accouterments have been nicely packed i.e., dressing, nuts, sealed fork and knife, napkins, etc.) I personally recommend this location for their drive-thru, however, upon leaving, I have noticed many enjoy sitting outside to eat at tables in front of the storefront. Took a shot and tried some items off the Wendy's breakfast menu and I have to say, I was surprised how good it was. I am skeptical when eating breakfast at fast food places as there are only a small amount that are actually worth eating and it turns out Wendy's is one of them. The food was prepared quickly and had a really good flavor and tasted really good. I went when they first opened in the morning and had a chance to speak to the manager and they were very pleasant and accommodating. Everything was made fresh to order as I think I may have been the first one in the restaurant right after they opened. This restaurant should be closed. I have never had such a bad experience with takeout, and it happens every time I am there. I am never more than 3rd in line, yet it takes 30 minutes from the time you order till the time you get your food. I have never had a QSR been so slow. There is no slower restaurant....anywhere. A 1 Star is being nice. My father and I go into pick up the food, thinking we need to pick it up there and, as we walk in, an older gentleman who is an employee walks out of the bathroom, sees the people walking in, and throws his hands up in the air in exasperation. My father then says that we were supposed to pick it up from the drive through as that is what the mobile order says to do. We get online for the drive through and sit behind five cars for 30 minutes and then we pull up to the speaker. The manager is on drive through and we can hear her chastising her employees over the drive through speaker. Furthermore, the mobile order says to pick it up in the drive through and that we are told to come in instead. When we come in to speak to the manager, the manager actually walks away from us and starts yelling at us as well. The food had not been prepared at all when we went in to pick it up either. The employees all looked at us as if we had multiple heads and just stood around. We start asking for our food and we're told it's not ready at all. The owner of this franchise needs to clear house at this point. If the manager is fighting customers and her own employees, there's no reason why they should be working here. read more

For fast food standards, this Wendy's is on a higher end. It's a relatively new location, and not only is it nice inside and outside, but also has some tech that makes it neat. I speak mainly of the drink/soda fountain which is all controlled by a computerized machine. The inside is maintained well, and there is seating outside to eat, which is actually a nice area. The restaurant itself is in an awkward location, as it is not a standalone building, but a strip within a strip mall. The drive thru is around the back, and it is a very narrow area to get a car through. The Wendy's location is very odd and not easy to spot and get to from the road. Other than those specific things about this particular location, it is just like any other Wendy's in terms of food and prices. In my opinion, this is the best Wendy's in South Florida. Super clean. You can eat off the floor but I wouldn't try it. Bathrooms are well maintained. Food is typical fast food. Friendly staff. On this occasion, I ordered a chicken sandwich. Very tasty with heavy pickles. Must have been about ten pickle chips. My husband had a plain baked potato and a side salad plus a small chili. Chili was full of chopped meat and beans. They have the best tasting chili that I have ever tasted. My husband let me taste his. Food is very fresh. Salads are fresh with crisp lettuce, cherry tomatoes, slivered carrots and cheese. Two televisions are located in a large split dining area to keep you entertained while you eat. I stopped by here for a quick meal before I had a doctor's appointment. It took me about 15 minutes to even get to the ordering station, and I wasn't even able to order. Waited 5 more minutes for assistance but got none. I've ordered the chicken go wrap once and it was cold, sloppily put together, and there was barbecue sauce in it (there's not supposed to be). This place is awful, was there last night went through the drive thru. There were 2 cars in front of me and took at least 20 minutes, so much for fast food. Finally get to place my order and that was truly painful. The person taking the order understood very little of what I was saying and she was very hard to understand. After all if that I had ordered a fish sandwich for myself and it was awful. It was overcooked, hard, dry and it ended up in the trash. The woman who asked for my order at the speaker sounded completely bored and like she had no interest in life in general. (I get it's fast food, but you're serving customers, at least act like you care about your job) That wasn't the worst part, I ordered three things, one being a Dave's Double cheeseburger.(no adjustments) Well I got home, which isn't close, and I open my burger and it's a Baconator, they don't even sound alike. Ironically I decided to start a meat-less diet shortly after watching Earthlings on Sunday afternoon but Sunday morning at 1:30am coming home after some drinks I needed to sober up and Wendy's was the call. Their new pretzel burger is just shy of amazing. It's a great combination that I'd put up against any burger you can get from Shake Shack. Maybe I was too drunk but their fries really stepped up too. Wendy's is pound for pound the best fast food burger joint in the game. From their spicy chicken all the way to their double stacks to the frosty. Plus the service at this new location was the best I've seen for late night. Decor is fun, with a fireplace and multiple tv's for those who can't bear to be without one for more than a minute... Skip the extra charge to pretzel bread a sandwich. We were in Boca and needed to get something to eat quick! Have not been in a Wendy's in about 15 years. I have to say the look of this wendy's is jaw dropping. This has to be a new concept with clean lines, stainless steel, televisions, bright wood floors. Really a shock how good this restaurant looked. They also have clean bathrooms - always the first thing to look at before you eat at a restaurant - the bathroom is an indication how clean the kitchen is! We were a group of 6 and ordered in. The food came out quick and accurate. The soda machine is like the ones found in Pei Wei. You can combo close to an infinite amount of choices. The main dissapointment is that the heavily advertised pretzel bread (add 90cents to any sandwich) is a true dissapointment - and yet the only dissapointment as the staff, cashier and cleanliness of the place was top notch for a fast food place. read more

The food at the various Wendy's I've gone to is pretty consistent. The difference is the attitude of the people who work there. The person who took our order and the person at the drive through window, I don't know if it was the same person, was not helpful. Even though there wasn't any cars behind us or in front of us I felt rushed. When we drove up to place our order I had a question about the menu. I know most of my veggie Yelp friends would never step foot in a meat server low-social-class fast food joint, but I had to post a WARNING. We should have known the place exclusively hires morons when we entered and three employees were trying to figure out how to work a register (touch screen, morons...touch the pretty pictures) and the teenager left in the lurch just stared into space for about two minutes and then looked at us blankly as we asked him if he was ready to take our order. I guess asking us if we wanted to order anything was beyond his skill level. Anyhow, we went for the fries (because I am a pizza fry beer cookie junkie, obviously) and though the location's seating area seems very clean, we both got pretty bad food poisoning...from fries!! Who ever heard of such a thing? Just a few fries from our orders tasted funky (really weird, like fishy rotten vegetable oil) but that was enough...in the water closet all night. Worst Wendy's I have ever visited!!! The young man (boy) cleaning stood in the only doorway to talk to his coworker that was leaving until I asked if there was another door. Then the cashier took my order which I repeated several times as she kept making mistakes. After telling her I wanted a Frosty in place of a drink she still insisted on handling me a cup for a drink. Three times I stated that I only wanted lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and ketchup but somehow ended up with onion also. I told her chocolate Frosty yet a vanilla was made instead. The boy had just mopped the floor in front of the drinks and yet it had ice on it and was very sticky. The tables were all dirty so I tried to clean one.
