Nonetheless, I place my order with the code from the app, so everything was paid for. But to my surprise, an Afro-American lady told me I didn't pay and I had to pay before I got my food. I said I did pay. Check your computer. Sure enough, she came back and said yes you did. After that I said the burger has no muscle on it, right? She said, no you didn't ask for no mustard. I said I sure did, and she continued to go back and forth with me. Finally with the face of anger, she said fine I will remake it. She came back gave me my food, no thank you, no smile, nothing. Mostly I only experience the drive-thru and the staff are all very friendly. I highly recommend getting the McDonald's app to get deals and to be a part of the MyMRewards program. The french fries at this location are awful - they're usually soggy with an oily flavor. They must not be changing the oil or doing something wrong. I threw out one bag, and got sick from another. I don't get fries like this in other locations, so it's not the chain - it's the local management. The Quarter Pounder was cold on another visit. The mandatory remodelings strip the character from each location, but that's not the franchise owner's fault. I've stopped going to this location, even though it's closest to where I live. read more

McDonald's has never impressed me service wise - though not as bad as Wendy's or BK service - they're by no means at Chick-fil-A level (for service and friendliness) Well maybe they have a new manager or training program - or maybe I got lucky Thursday night. Both the person who took my drug thru order and the person who handed off my order, were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The food was good too! Again at this McDonald's they have managed to let us down again, first was a drive thru cashier steeling credit card numbers and using them to purchase meals later on in the week to now placing mobile orders to have them tell us we have to reorder and pay again because they were already picked up! So basically management at this location is not doing their job correctly and enforcing to verify mobile orders or the staff calls friends to pick up free meals when there is an order pick up. My kids love Happy Meals and cheeseburgers which we have ordered To Go over the past couple of years. Once in a while I enjoy a breakfast sandwich. I would estimate that 25% of the time they get the order completely wrong. Three times on a Saturday night I picked up 3 meals before going out to dinner with my wife and the orders were completely wrong. I had to go back to the restaurant and show them the receipt and they had to replace it. Five times I specifically said to have a boy's toy in the Happy Meal only to get home and it was a girl's toy. Oftentimes the bags are given without straws or napkins. McDonald's is usually know for being consistent and efficient. This store is consistently bad and not efficient. Excellent recovery by management and staff. This McDonald's literally came back from the grave. I wrote a one star review on this McDonald's and like many others trashed the food, service, management and cleanliness. Every word WAS true. I stayed away until this week when I returned because I was starved and had to go to Home Depot. First thing I noticed was it was spotlessly clean. Then I was greeted by a well mannered clerk who took my order and handed to me in less than 2 minutes. The food was excellent, fresh bun good fry's and delicious. The thing that makes this McDonald's stand out from every other McDonald's is two-fold. First off, it has a late night/after midnight menu, which really means most breakfast items are available after midnight, yay! Not sure many other McDonald's have this menu as of now, but I know they are expanding it. This McDonald's is also open 24/7, which is also a benefit considering many places are not open that late. The other being that it has a theme, even if it is kind of strange. The whole interior of this McDonald's has a racing theme, with tons of decoration throughout. Now I don't really think it makes the place nicer, just makes it different. I could kind of see this making sense in Daytona where racing is big, but in Boca Raton, it is a bit out of place. Nevertheless it does give the place a bit of character even though it is just a McDonald's.
