I get the Miami color scheme but the layout was kind of weird with a bar on the side and a lot of kids drawings on the whole left side of the wall. Prices were "okay" a single party is $7 but if you add cheese and some onions it's $10 which is kind of a large up charge for two things. The cheese is vegan since this is a kosher burger joint. The food was okay, the burger lacked a lot of the depth that I expected from a smash burger. It was just a regular burger, kind of bland. The fried Onions were "okay" too, it felt like they didn't bring the oil to temperature before dropping it in so they were soggy and oily. The service I got was good though, the girl explained everything and was really nice. I did leave a tip even though I honestly don't think they should be asking for tips for a place where you have to clean up after yourself and all they did was bring it out. Which is Panera bread level of service.

To his credit, he said he'd take that back to the team. As for the rest of it, what I reviewed is what they're serving. No changes planned right now. If they ever DO make any changes, I'll be happy to re-review. He did offer a gift card, which I appreciated, but Florida Nacho Man doesn't take comps. The review stands.

I saw this young lady LITERALLY slicing onions and then putting batter on them. SHOCKED - first to find out their onion rings are made fresh and not frozen in a bag. Second that she went out of her way to satisfy my urge for onion rings. I haven't received that level of service at a high-end restaurant. I was very impressed. 5 Star update 5 years later: Get their espresso martini ASAP!…read more I've been coming to this Padrino's for a few years now and dhad to update my review after I recently ordered espresso martinis and saw how they craft and serve them now out of a cafetera (aka moka pot) into a glass coffee cup. It's so unique in the presentation and made ordering a round for the table so fun and interactive! I know it takes them more time to do it this way (rather than serve at the bar and bring to the table in standard martini glasses), but the showmanship really adds to the experience. Plus- the espresso is awesome so the drink is perfectly balanced! Besides that, if it's a nice day I recommend getting a table outside. Don't be afraid to ask them to turn the music down a bit as it can be quite loud on the outside speakers and they are super kind about it. Finally, around the holidays you can order coquito and special holiday dishes for pickup and they set up a table outside to make it super easy to grab and go. I've actually been dreaming about those grilled shrimp. They were savory and worked so well with the caramelized onions.
