Not to be too critical but this Wendy's kinda sucks, we've eaten here twice now and neither time was as you would expect even from a fat food restaurant. I would think they should be able to do n even better job, with the dine-in services being shut down due the COVID stupidity. We of course used the drive through and they completely messed up my order the only thing right about it waste Coke and fries, which were almost not even cooked. My wife's order was fine other than the fries. The people we're nice at the window, unlike the last time we were here for breakfast. That time the food was good though. The McDonalds across the street is still closed for remodeling, maybe they'll do better next time. read more

Website, app, and maps say it's open till 1 am, allowed me to make a mobile order, but when I come in drive through, they tell me they are closed. Not the fault of the employees if they were made to close at a different time, the website, app, and management need to figure out when they close. read more

This review is for the Wendy's located at 2927 Seward Highway in Anchorage. Nice mew Reataurant but WHO IN THE EVERLOVIN' HELL thought it was. Good idea to LOCK the bathrooms and not allow customers to use them unless your staff goes with you and unlocks them? I have eaten at hundreds of Wendy's all over America and this is the ONLY ONE that I have ever encountered that had LOCKED BATHROOMS! Do you really have this much of an issue with homeless people coming in and using your restroom? Or tourists stopping by to take a piss? Was this the manager's idea of a good policy? Well, it has the EXACT OPPOSITE EFFECT that he wanted. It causes people to HATE his store and never want to come there. If there was ever a way to say "We want your money but we sure as hell don't want you to come into our store!" this is it. My husband had to get ice from the ice machine to clean the table, I had to use a napkin to clean the benches, left over food on the benches, floor, tables are NOT clean, floor is very sticky. The Wendy's exemplifies excellent and prompt service. We rolled up just before closing time and we were given prompt service and even referred to by our surnames by the manager. Despite them being close to closing time we were also served fresh food, straight off the grill. I would also like to add that the manager's interaction with her staff reflected well on the establishment. She had high expectations of here staff but clearly cared about their well being and what was going on in their lives. If only the other Wendy's in town had this level of service. 5/5 read more

Never get all the food I order and I can't even write a review for the store because they do not give you receipts. I ordered a MEAL but never got my fries I paid for a meal and another sandwich. What I received was 2 sandwiches a drink. I paid 12 dollars for sandwiches basically really upsetting that Wendy's doesn't do quality checks for your food. read more

I ordered a single hamburger with lettuce, tomato and onion, with medium fries and a soda. The "combo" price was just under $9.00. This was my second visit to an Anchorage Wendy's this year. Same exact problems. Won't make this mistake a third time! There must be a shortage of fresh vegetables out there! One tiny leaf of limp lettuce that didn't even cover the hamburger! And, one onion ring . . . not a whole slice but one ring! And, the tomato was sliced almost paper thin, barely two inches in diameter and with a discolored pulpy consistency. Not sure how these folks can serve this stuff with a straight face! And, how come they don't have hamburgers on the menu priced without cheese . . . which would normally be fifty cents to a dollar cheaper? All hamburgers are priced with cheese. They asked me if I wanted cheese and I said no. But, same price! I got gypped again. Recent remodeling of their restaurants was a waste of time and money. That isn't the problem. Food quantity and quality matter! Customer service matters! Wendy's needs to give it up. They lost their mojo after founder Dave Thomas died. He's got to be rolling over in his grave. I give up . . . Went inside since line outside was long. Waited 30 minutes for one of their most basic meals. 4 people were helping a lady that was complaining and then just stood there & stared with nasty looks when I was just chillin waiting. Today I had the pleasure of eating at this Wendy's located by the big Fred Meyer grocery store. All the employees were extremely cheerful, professional and very helpful. The manager comped my lunch because the register wasn't cooperating with her entries and it took a long time. The line started to form behind me and she said we'll just take care of your lunch today. A free meal in Anchorage Alaska?! I was very appreciative and I definitely did not expect such a grand gesture! If you haven't gone into this Wendy's you're missing out on some of the nicest people that I've encountered in my two months here in Alaska. Do yourself a favor go inside this Wendy's And have lunch. So I get that food inventories are not quickly replenished in Alaska and I get that it's expensive. This review has nothing to do with that. It was really the attitude of the girl taking the order and the fact that our order (and pretty much everyone else there) had missing items and had to go back to ask for the rest. There actually was a 2nd line for that. The food was okay - but I have to say, I don't think Wendy's is as good as it used to be - and that's across the board, not so much a commentary on what was here. They used to have really good ceasar salads. The chicken sandwiches used to be a better cut of meat, etc. So yeah, not a fan. read more

I rarely criticize fast food workers but I just have to add to the pile of negative reviews... we got stuck in the drive through for LITERALLY 30 min... and the poor car in front of us only ordered a salad and still waited at the window for his food for almost 10 min... this was by far the slowest service I've had at a Wendy's and what was worse was they didn't care at all. The employees were leaning against the wall and window, talking to each other, no apologies or explanations to why their was such an insane delay... not even a smile. Nothing. It was insane. I was kind and smiled and thanked them twice hoping to get some glimmer of a response or customer service ability... and nothing. And to top it all off the food was thrown together messy and lazy- we got 3 chicken nuggets and they were thrown in the bag upside down so weren't in a container, and the cheese bacon fries looked like someone closed their eyes and pretended they cared. It has been over 11 years senes my last time at Wendy's. I was living in a city that had no Wendy's. Today I was reminded why I love the place. The food was outstanding the little gal behind the counter must have been new as she was a little nervous. But a coworker stepped in to help. The manager was very engaging stopped by my table couple times to check on how everything was. I have been in retail for over 18 years and this is what customer service is all about. Gave one star only because the lady in the dining area was very nice (Joyce). Whenever I go to Wendy's I always order the BBQ ranch chicken salad. This location did not have the dressing that goes on it so I settled with regular ranch. Then the cooks told me there was no corn. Okay, I'll do without. Got my salad and it didn't have bacon on it. I asked if they were about of bacon as well and they told me bacon doesn't come on this salad.. hmmm.. it has always come in it before. Then the cook told me he would give me bacon only because they were out of corn. It was then that I pointed out that the menu said there was bacon on my salad. The cool went behind the counter to get the bacon and came back with a mischievous smile on his face that made me not want the bacon any more. I went to this Wendy's location on 12/2/15 around 7:30-8:00 p.m. Service and food were fine (by fast food standards). However, when I went to the restroom to wash my hands I saw a Wendy's employee leave the restroom without washing his hands. It's a small restroom. There's no mistaking what I saw. The employee was in the stall when I came in. I washed my hands and while I was drying them under the hand dryer, the employee flushed the toilet, exited the stall, and walked right out of the restroom. I even moved to the side to give him better access to the sink. This was the same guy that was handling my food just a few minutes earlier. I literally never write reviews (good or bad), but this grossed me out so bad that I thought I should warn other people.
