We got to the window and waited about 5min and saw staff come up to the window, but they never opened it and addressed us. I love Wee B's. They are without a doubt the best burger in town. Best chicken sandwich in Alaska. If you're going for "fast" fastfood then go elsewhere. I like to think of this food as a burger place with a drive thru, but not a fastfood place. There's a pretty good wait to get food from the drive thru that it's probably faster to go inside and eat. That said, everything tastes fresh, and piping hot. It'd be difficult to find a better burger bun because they make theirs in house and the taste is evident. This has to be the worst hamber place in the state. Meat was over cooked by a ton. I ordered the 1/3 burger I got two quarter pound patties cooked beyond reason. This definitely is a restaurant that absolutely go out of business if were to only get repeat customers. No one wants to wait fourty five minutes for a sandwich. In order t0 selll french fries, you need to be frying the potatoes they clearly cook their potatoes in the oven, there was no oil at all in my potatoes. they were terrible. The positives! Both my burger and fries were fresh. The bun seamed to be homemade. The fries were reminiscent of In and Out fries to me actually. Service was fast and although dated, I thought the dining area was nice and roomy with lots of seating options. Now the negatives. The cashier could have been friendlier, but I could tell he was juggling a lot! The food overall was okay for the price but nothing special and I didn't think the portions were that generous. I left a little hungry. I tried the Wee B's sauce for an additional 35¢ and I didn't think it was that good. I don't know that I'll be back at Wee B's anytime soon with there being some other burger places near by that I like more, but I'm glad I gave this place a try! read more

Tough spot to rate. Maybe 3.5? Here's the thing, the food tastes good at the end of the day. But is it worth sitting and waiting 10 minutes at the box to order and another 10 minutes to get your order? That's for you to decide. If you have the patience and the time in the day, I'd say go for it. They provide a pretty good classic burger and fries/cheese fries or onion rings are all done well. If you're trying to get a quick bite, in and out of the drive through in under five minutes in standard fast food fashion, all with smiling employees....id recommend you go elsewhere. You're going here when you have time to kill, no rush in your day and just want a good old fashion burger. Relatives had a bad experience today with their order. Asked to take items off one hamburger, and they did not. asked to sub a tomato slice instead and were told they had to upgrade. While we rarely go to Wee B's, we have been going there for sooooooo many years! Fresh cut french fries, fresh burgers & buns, brewhouse style onion rings and if you're into milkshakes, they have a large selection on the menu! During this stop, we grabbed Super Cheeseburger's, fries & onion rings to gobble down on the road. They didn't disappoint, albeit very difficult to eat driving. Don't... just don't bother trying to eat it while driving, just pull over and scarf it down for safety and keeping your clothes and vehicle clean! I think what I like most about Wee B's is the freshness of everything you order. While your first thought is this is a fast-food joint, you'd be mistaken, it is not. While it is counter service to order and pickup, you will wait quite a while to get your order and that's where I dock my star. Plan on a 15-20 minute wait for your food, so it's really a good idea to plan ahead and call in your order if you can. The dining room is quite plain and very cold... I guess that's the other portion of docking them a star, it's uncomfortably cold in there. There is a 4% up charge for using a credit card, so cash is king. read more

I have been here enough times that it's time I write a review. This burger stop is CONSISTENTLY incredibly slow. I'm talking 45+ minutes to make it through 3 cars in the drive thru slow. I genuinely don't know what they could be doing back there to take so long. The fries are often cold and under salted, the workers are confused and unprofessional, and it's overall a frustrating experience each time. Absolutely disgusting. First off, the place looked filthy from what I could see. I almost, and should have, driven away right then and there. Took forever to get my order. When I got home to eat 4 min later I saw that the gross fries had obviously been sitting all day. Not even remotely warm. And they were gray like the potatoes were bad before they even cooked them. They were all shriveled up. And this is less than 5 min after picking up. The burger may have been ok but looked like a goopy mess. By the disgusting appearance of business, employees and fries, I didn't want to chance biting into spoiled meat. It all went in the trash. I'll never go there again. Had to wait at the speaker, the individual taking our order had a very hard time comprehending "no pickles, no tomatoes" on the order. This restaurant is one of my son's favorite restaurants in Anchorage. For a great burger and delicious fries this is a must try place. Also the chili dog is delicious if you are not in the mood for a burger. The vanilla malt milkshake is a great choice as a drink. Food is good but service sucks. Ordered 2 burgers, fries and an Italian soda. After a long wait they brought out one of the burgers and the fries. I asked about my burger and they told me the person that took my order didn't put in the order, so I had to re order it. My son asked about his Italian soda and they were oh yeah, someone started making it and then went in the kitchen and got distracted, finally came back and finished making the drink. By the time my burger came out fries were gone so I ordered more fries. It took forever for the fries, by then I had finished eating my burger. I hate to give a bad review being a business owner myself but if I was the owner of this restaurant I would probably want to know how my staff is doing and provide some customer service training, it's a shame that this restaurant with such long history and good food is being ruined by untrained minimum wage employees. read more

I got the *super* 1/4 cheeseburger because I wanted pickles. It comes with sauce, onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. The *regular* only has sauce lettuce and onions. Then I got another super but no tomato because my husband does not like tomato so I paid 60 cents for pickles lol. Worth it. Also got small fries to share. I've been passing this place since I was little and today was some how my first time there. We were at the gym and my kids were hungry, this spot is right by the O'Malley center, in front of the Alaska club south. We ordered form the drive thru, HOW COOL is the drive thru we were excited to see that. They gave us a ticket with a number and we went to the parking lot. Well, I decided I didn't want the kids eating in my car so we went inside instead. The interior is really cute, they have video games and the seating area is relatively clean. The service was hit and miss, not overly friendly or helpful. Seemed like a young crew who could care less. We ordered a kids chicken nuggets, kids cheeseburger, supreme bacon burger and cheeseburger. We waited 20 mins. They got most of it right, my kids cheese burger I told her twice absolutely nothing in it but ketchup. She even repeated after me. We get the burger and it had their special sauce? Tasted like thousand island, and relish. my kid was not having it, I had to scrape everything off and then add the ketchup that wasn't there. Anyways, over all a pretty good experience. Their milkshake bar looks ahhhmaaazing, they have ice cream, smoothies, malts, all kinds. Will be back for that. 7/10 will probably return as it's close to my house. read more

I have wanted to go to Wee B's for years, so I was really looking forward to our visit. The aesthetic of this place is awesome- it's a real Mom n Pop. They have pinball and a retro Ms. Pac Man. There are cool homemade touches in the cold case like deviled eggs and carrot cake. You can get hand scooped ice cream and spectacular onion rings. And holy shit, hand cut fries with the skins on them! But... The burgers... Meh. I was so disappointed. The rolls were weird. The lettuce was chopped up like someone was angry. Random shapes... The sauce on the burger was BIZARRE. The burger wasn't good. I''ll go back one more time to try one of their specialty burgers. But I'm not optimistic.
