Ok I am throughly impressed. I called Alaskan Burger & Brew on Old Seward @1130pm (they closed at 12) and they happily made me the "Mex Burger". Huge, hot, fresh, just spicy enough and delicious (only thing I'd change is from purple onion to white). The fries were also seasoned to perfection. Sometimes you can just tell when foods made w love... They have the most reasonable prices in town, great customer service, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a really cute restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Check them out!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the layout and decor of the restaurant but I feel like it should have table service since there's so many tables & booths and it serves beer and wine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I appreciate all the good beer in cans and on tap. The burger was okay. The grilled chicken sandwich was okay. Nothing to boost about. The French fires were great! There is so many burger restaurants in anchorage but there doesn't seem anything super special about this one to me.

Great burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Comfortable ambiance with comfortable seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very attentive (even though the ordering was fast foodish). Great burgers.

Now I know how far I need to be willing to go for a great burger! If you find yourself anywhere near the arctic circle.... you need to drop into Alaskan Burger and Brew. I had the breakfast burger, with American cheese, bacon and an egg. The burger was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and while huge... I was still able to pick it up and eat it with my hands. Another standout on the menu was the halibut sandwich (called Homer Burger). The fish was fantastic and the sauce was flavorful without be too spicy. All this combined with an excellent selection of beers on tap made for an excellent lunch break from the museum.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in a VERY long time. From the beautiful presentation of the food, it's cheap, clean, has bathrooms, beautiful decorations, good music, and mostly importantly, a damn good burger. The burger even has a bear on the top. The service was so quick and they were polite and attentive. Such a good place to go and eat, would highly recommend to anyone. Might be my new spot.

I am always looking out for a really good fish sandwich. The Homer here at Alaskan Burger & Brew is one I go out of my way for. The beer battered filet of halibut is incredible. It's a chunk of fish perfection on a bun with a slaw. Then when you taste the French fries that come with it ... these fries knock me out! NO KETCHUP NEEDED they are so good. You know when you go, hmmm I'm feeling fish sandwich I know where I'm going! It's fast takeout too! 5-7 Minutes during lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of beers on tap, fireplace in the middle, outdoor small, quaint patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Yeah this is me and Judy's fish burger go to! It's a gem!

Delicious food!! I would definitely come back here for another burger. The mushroom Swiss burger was phenomenal. Every member of our family loved their meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is cute and very comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend.

Upon arrival we discovered that they were located in a small shopping plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is decorated like many Alaskan restaurants, with many outdoor activities.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered two burgers and fries for take out, as we were on our traveling journey. Their burgers were very delicious and the bun was stamped with a bear image. The fries were very warm and seasoned with perfection.

Decent place to grab a burger, fries, and beer on tap. I ended up ordering the Texas burger as I love the onion ring and BBQ sauce combo on burgers. The burger was definitely good but interesting. I was not expecting as much of a char taste as it was semi overpowering the other flavors. While not burnt, it just was more a kick in the mouth. The BBQ sauce used was more on the very sweet end and that would have been better for a more savory BBQ to go well with the saltiness of the meat.

Had to order for burgers are my first love. I ordered out and was surprised the fries were still crisp and tasty. We ordered three different burgers and I have to say less is more. Meaning just your burger and cheese with nothing on it won my taste buds over.

Casual spot with pretty good burgers. On a Friday night there was a couple at the bar and three other tables including us. Waited maybe 15 mins for 2 orders. I had a simple cheeseburger with fries. Bun and meat were very good. Fiancé had the chicken buffalo burger and was a fan. We'd return here for a quick and casual dinner!

Food was great. We had Hawaiian burger and bacon cheese burger. No complaints from anyone. All plates were empty so that shows you how good it was. Service was great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance is casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely come back and recommend this place.

DELICIOUS FOOD!!! (Wild Fries with toppings on the side)

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! They have the best fries, burgers, but their service is SUPERB!! I have been here a few times but this experience is the one that tipped me over the edge to write a review!! I was not having the best day and I wanted some good fries and Burger and Brew has great fries with mixture. They're the wild fries but I felt so picky and didn't want to drive 15 mins home from the restaurant with all mixtures soaking in the fries making them soggy. So asked if they could put every topping and dressing into a container for me. I was hoping they would but I knew that I might not get that and was preparing my self. When I got there the staff was so sweet to me and gave me my order and when I opened it i almost cried. Everything was as I asked, everything was in its own separate container, not just piled on the side. It made my day. Thank you, thank you! Cannot recommend enough for great food and service.

The board stating the wait time was accurate. I only waited 5-10 minutes. I ordered the spenard burger and a regular cheeseburger with fries. The fries were dead cold (only drove to eat maybe 2 minutes) if I were eating in house I would have asked for new fries. The burgers were actually pretty good nothing wrong with them. The menu is kind of all of the place and a lot of reading. The staff was very nice but standing around in front with nothing to do because it was so dead in there. The floors were pretty sticky too so I stayed on the carpet while waiting. Around $35 for two burgers and dead cold fries.

And it is. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable and reassured me although the fries would be cross contaminated so this would not be a celiac friendly restaurant. Although I neglected to ask about the teriyaki sauce on the Aloha burger. Maybe next time. I ordered the sweet Charlotte burger on gluten-free bun and added minced garlic and an order of small Cajun fries, which all came $29.60. The burger was good still on the fence about the bun. I've had it before at another restaurant. I think there's this after dryness if that makes sense. They definitely did not use Franz bakery, gluten-free buns. the fries were well seasoned still slightly warm from the delivery although we don't live that far. I ordered a pineapple milkshake with pineapple. I added it flavor and that cost me $8.45 although it was good it's a very light pineapple flavor but you can tell that it is pineapple. However, the size of the milkshake doesn't warrant THAT price. My husband ordered the RLE Hello burger and that Pápi was huge! He said it was all right. So for him nothing write home about, but it was filling. Would order it again though @a whopping $25.35 price tag. The small beer battered onion ring was actually pretty large for $7.80. Would hate to see what the large $16.90 onion rings look like. And he ordered a Mexican Coke for $5.20. Total through DoorDash with tip came to $90.22. A bit much for two burgers, but we are full.

After perusing the few tables that had people eating burgers, decided to go with the wrap option, not wanting a loaf of bread surrounding my burger! Either that or common sense took a vacation from the cold in Anchorage. Cashier was very helpful despite my clown like behavior. KETO Burger!!! Very pleasing to the eye, wrapped in a generous amount of crunchy iceberg, boom, could have used more sauce, but I'm a sauce kind of clown, plenty to get from the condiment bar. Nice crunchy bacon, boom, she said mustard was absent had to get my own. Over all not bad, certainly not the best in Anchorage like a previous reviewer, that was obviously may or may not be connected to the restaurant .... Hmm what am I some kind of a clown? A few tips to improve the burger, add on the tomato pickles and onions. Also burn a brand into the lettuce like the buns, would be way cool. And don't be afraid to sauce it up, some of us Keto types need a lot of taste to combat the boring taste of iceberg. Take heed, the clown has spoken,

It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."
