    Hotpot

Amazing hotpot spot here in Quincy! First off, the interior is beautiful. It's the perfect place to impress any guests. Regarding their hotpot: Their broths are so flavorful and they have a huge selection of high quality add-ins. Some favorites are their quail eggs, beef rolls, and razor clams. They do a la carte instead of AYCE but the portions are generous. They also have a self service sauce bar that is stocked with all your favorites. If you're looking for a refreshing drink, their watermelon smoothie is delicious! Would definitely recommend Wei Shu Wu to anyone looking for some authentic hotpot.

The service here was super attentive, the ambiance was really beautiful and cozy. Each table felt so secluded. Even my children who absolutely loves hot pot says this is how their #1. We truly can't wait to be back. The food was all super fresh and very high quality. I had the spicy house broth and the bone marrow. Both very well done.

Presentation is everything. From the entrance to the interior, to the plating, and even down to the utensils. First, let's talk non-food. The disposable chopsticks ends? Genius. It would be better though if there was a way to keep it lodged in. It fell out once or twice. The rim of the hotpot heater was the head of a dragon. Amazing. The booth we were sat at? Half of a life sized boat! Incredible! Bathroom? Fully stocked! Pads, hair ties, q-tips, cotton pads, mouthwash, and even a BLOW DRYER! Literally every woman's dream restaurant bathroom. Service was great. An order of soup dumplings that we ordered towards the end hadn't come out by the time we asked for the check, so they were able to take that off for us. We weren't there for a birthday but others were and the staff blasted that happy birthday song. I don't mind it, but the intro made me think there was an alien invasion going on LOL. Next, let's talk food. All 3 broths were so flavorful. The mushroom broth was very earthy. The pork bone broth was indeed boney. And the house chili was amazinggggg. We got medium, and it was way spicier than im used too, but the flavor of the broth just made me want to keep sipping on it more. Tread lightly with this flavor! The ingredients are al la carte, but add up to a normal price for ayce places. The sauce bar had the regular things plus a few new things. I've never tried duck feet in hotpot before but it was really good. The presentation for the meat was A-1; so majestic and the texture and taste definitely reflects that. I absolutely loved the lychee lime drink. So refreshing and not too sweet. Keeps you coming back for more. Oh and the soup dumplings! Literally so good. Savory and sweet, and just enough of everything. Way better than Nanxiang Express. This restaurant is fit for an emperor. Absolutely impeccable!

Seeing my review disappeared haha let's try this again. We frequent this spot quite often. It's open until 1am and they aren't pushy to get you out. The staff is cool. We use the tablets on the tables to place your order. Typically we go with fatty beef, marinated beef, spicy beef. An array of veggies and the brown sugar rice rolls and maybe some fried pork apps. We like pork bone broth, yes it comes with actual pork bones you can eat the meat off of. If you like spicy, they have a spicy house broth that'll burn on the way out but it's good! (You can choose your spice level) The sauce bar is stacked, i personally use the braised beef sauce as my base. Toss in some garlic, scallions, peanuts, bbq satay, solace of soy sauce and chopped chilis. Cooking is quick and easy, just toss the meat in for 15-30s and it's ready. The tables and decor are nice looking feels like stepping into a throwback Chinese restaurant in the country. Some of the tables tho the seats are a bit too high for the table to fit your legs under haha so you have to in turn, sit at an angle. But anywho, regular spot for us. Broth is good, and it's close being south of Boston!

We came without a reservation but was still able to get a private room. They have a cool decorated booth with a small bridge that I wish we got to sit at. Id recommend their watermelon smoothie and gizzard. The sakura milk tofu pudding was very pretty. The food came out quickly but we had to ask for soup refills. The house chili soup base is spicy even at the mild level. I'd recommend mild mild for people not used to spice

table with food, you use an Ipad to order and its on demand, so you can keep ordering

Finally a hot pot place that is high quality! Reminds me of a similar place in Flushing NY. The building is cool and great decor. Service is fantastic and the food came out fast. Had the 3 broth option, spicy ( and yes mild is super spicy), pork broth and mushroom. The mushroom broth was the best out of the 3. Had mushrooms, beef, lamb, shrimp, bok choy, noodles, tofu, marinated tedon. Also had the soup dumplings. Everything was fresh and top quality. Only thing I found cheesy was charging for the sauces?? comon that should be part of any hot pot. So 4/5. Plenty of parking around. Best hot pot I've had in the Boston area. Its not AYCE and thats why the food quality is superior. Spent 130$ including tip for 2 people and I was full.

Wei Shu Wu Hotpot is still my favorite place to go for hotpot! It's a great place for late night hotpot, closes at 1am daily, though they are not AYCE & are a la carte. The pork bone broth is amazing! I love eating the bone marrow from the bones at the end of the meal. Usually they give 4 of them. We always make sure to order the marinated beef, fish roe balls, white fish, tongho, Napa cabbage, spicy marinated beef, brown sugar rolls, & cheese fish tofu. Their sauce bar is also very elite & by far, my favorite that I have experienced... & I have hotpot and try new places often. If you like peanuts & peanut butter, you'll enjoy my sauce mix: -cilantro -scallions -soy sauce -sesame oil -peanuts -peanut butter -satay/BBQ sauce They replaced their old tables, which were still nice, they limited leg room, so now I can cross my legs & my knees are no longer hitting the table! The tables also have space for you to put your stuff, such as phones or keys if you wanted to, thought this was neat.

I came here for the interior decor because it looks so cool! It really sends you to a different place and I love the table seating. They even have a little short bridge inside connecting the two different sides of the restaurant, how cute!!! The food and drink presentation is OVER. THE. TOP. Beautiful meat presentation and the meat is so fresh and has great marbling. Great variety of meats and non-meat items. They use an ipad system where you can send in orders whenever you want instead of waiting on your server. They also have pictures for everything! I love that. We got the lychee and watermelon drink and they are both alcohol-free. I really like that they have virgin drinks that are pretty and tasty! The fried man tau is so so SO GOOD Honestly my favorite thing to get and its not even a hot pot item. Its a light and fluffy fried doughnut and I go crazy over these. They are so warm and delightful. Must try!! Also special mention for the bathroom!? They give complimentary mouth wash, hair ties, sanitary pads, and more! They are so considerate and it's these little things that really help make your hot pot experience more enjoyable. Love this place!

When it comes to hot pot to impress, this is a go to place. I always take my visitors here for hot pot. There plenty of parking in front and a parking lot around the corner. This is a beautiful hot pot restaurant and is very clean. Their bathroom is super clean and it is full stock with complimentary toiletries!!! Each table would have a tablet where you can just place in your own orders. There is a sauce bar where you can create your own sauce. The food comes out very quickly. They also make very good drinks and it comes out very pretty!! Good food, good service and great place for photos

Great spot for a la carte hot pot! Soup base is DELICIOUS, meats are higher quality, and their cold dish buffet bar is super yummy. You also place your orders on an iPad they provide, so it makes the dining process a lot more seamless and efficient. The servers are also super attentive and are glad to help out whenever. Their decor is also beautiful and really elevates the dining experience. Note: Don't expect to order the same as an AYCE spot unless you know your wallet can handle it.

Plenty of options on the menu, but sadly a good portion of what I wanted to try was sold out during the evening I visited. Service and waitstaff were pretty nice, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and cute. There is plenty of street parking available as well. When it comes to the hot pot, the broths were nice, and the options were pretty yummy, but it was definitely on the pricier side compared to other hot pot spots I've been to. Though I must say that their fried buns and fried pork were pretty good for appetizers, as well as their Melon Watermelon smoothie - which was quite refreshing to have on the side. Anyway, this spot is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area or if you're aiming to celebrate

3.5/5 rip off and rude I honestly wanted to like this place but the host was extremely rude. Long waiting lines despite being told on wait list for 30 mins (we waited almost 70) charged extra for everything. Broth, when specified as mild, is so spicy, you could die. Just no, unless you want Instagram worthy photos.

Came on a Wednesday night and there was no wait. You'll notice the decor from the moment you walk in and feel like you've been transported to a different country. Food was served on fancy platters. Food quality is ok. They have a lot of exotic items like pork brain, duck gizzard, duck intestines, frog, pork intestines, and few others. We didn't order these. We got beef, lamb, fish Tofu with cheese, vegetables platter and fish dumplings with roe filling. There are small cans on the table, they are sesame oils used as a dipping sauce for hot pot. It's very light and went well with the beef. They have a small sauce bar but have the staples and had a couple of fruits like watermelon and oranges. We got the mixed mushroom and seafood broths. Both were really salty. For the price of the broths and food, we were expecting better quality. Our servers were very attentive and quick.

Does this place have good options for vegetarians?

They have a good selection, a-choy, bokchoy, Napa, watercest etc tofus and the order sometimes seems like you get the whole head. So a large portion.

Liquor license???? Info is very sparse.

They do serve alcohol so I am assuming they have their liquor license.

Ground Pork W.preserved Vegetables Clay Pot Rice梅菜肉餅煲仔飯: The English translation is already a bit misleading. This dish should be pork patty with preserved mustard greens, but what was served didn't match either component. First, this was not meicai梅菜(preserved mustard greens). Proper meicai should be dark brown and fibrous even after soaking, whereas this consisted of pale yellow granules, both in appearance and taste much closer to dongcai冬菜 (preserved Chinese cabbages). While dongcai can appear in some clay pot rice dishes, this was clearly not what it should be. Second, this was not a pork patty. The meat was simply loose minced pork scattered on top of the rice, without any mixing or shaping. As a result, it lacked the cohesion, tenderness, and springy texture that define a proper pork patty. There was even a slight sour note, which felt off. Third, the "claypot sauce" was surprisingly slightly viscous, like Singaporean dark soy sauce, and had a strong ginger flavor. I also tried the rice roll sauce; it had a normal soy sauce texture, but the ginger flavor was still very strong, meaning it was still not authentic. Given the stated Taishan background, the lack of traditional structure and technique in this clay pot rice was quite surprising. Compared to Clay Pot Cafe in Boston Chinatown, which offers a way more authentic execution, the difference becomes even more apparent. That said, to be fair, the rice itself was decent: grains were distinct, and there was a noticeable wok aroma. Milk Tea: The old menu called it "Hong Kong style milk tea," while the new menu simply said "milk tea," which seems more accurate. It was bitter at first, then intensely sweet, not fragrant at all--very weird. As someone who grew up in Guangdong, it's honestly frustrating to see it reduced to something so off. If you're looking for an authentic Cantonese clay pot rice experience, this would likely be a disappointing stop.
