Almost 700MB Download and 200+ MB uploads; nothing faster or cheaper out there. Service technician was clean, friendly, and knowledgeable and showed up when they said they would. $550 one time yearly fee equals almost $46/month which was a $638 yearly savings over the much slower Cox 100MB service. The other nice thing about the service is that a cable modem is not required and service plugs directly into your router. read more

I used to like web pass but my experience today was unbelievable. I spent an hour last night trying to fix my internet then called today to be told it was shut off. I had a new card in June and forgot to update it (they don't always even bill monthly themselves) so I didn't worry about it until I was contacted and quickly updated my card. It has been on file since mid-august. Now without notice, mail, phone call or email they have Imagine my surprise when they have an active credit card on file. At this point I still have no internet, they hung up on me when I got upset and I have no solution as to when my internet will be turned back on. I have called back at 5:30pm and they are not answered the phone. read more

Just canceled my other internet service and had Webpass installed this morning. It's working like a charm. Install was super easy -- the easiest I've ever had. It was like 10 minutes of the network installer working with the telephone panel and wires (and that included the extra time it took him to fix the wiring that my painters had painted over). My network installer was Curtis Harvey, and he was fantastic. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained the download/upload speed, wiring, and history of the company all in layman's terms. He even helped me move furniture and set up my router! Five stars for Curtis and five stars for Web pass. read more

Making an appointment was very easy. Go online and schedule it. If changes are needed, I was able to call and speak to an actual person. JUSTIN was AMAZING. He was waiting for me at my apartment door, very punctual. I handed him an unopened box of my router. He knew right away what to do with it and set it up easy peasy. All the while he was very personable, friendly and made the experience a breeze. Before I knew it everything was set up. ZERO HASSLE. Internet is great btw! Thanks Justin and webpass!! read more

I was able to get a next day appt. Jaimi the installer showed up on time, and even waited 20 mins because I got held up with another meeting. I've had a variety of different internet services over the years (cox, time warner, DSL, cable, T1 in college) - Nothing was even close to this fast! I'm well above the 200mbs advertised speed. I am hesitant to even post this because I'm selfish and don't want to share the bandwidth, but these guys deserve a good review. This is next level internet, and you want it. read more

Great internet without dealing with a big company. Have had no issues with the speed and the install took less than 20 mins.

Easy connection. Easy disconnect. No harassment. Best internet (no one is as fast, effective, cheap, professional) I only disconnected because I was moving. Farewell read more

I LOVE my new connection with WebPass. My download speed is around 360Mbps & my upload's around 440Mbps. It could be higher if i was wired in with ethernet but that's on my wifi with an Airport extreme. The install tech, Raul, even showed up an hour early and was super fast, knowledgeable & answered all my questions. i had Cox but they've been slowing down my internet after 10pm lately & could never resolve the problem. read more

These guys really just aren't ready for prime time. Outages are pretty regular and prolonged. At least they now have a broadcast message on their customer service line saying they're working on it. Before, they just never picked up. I've hung in for awhile, but it seems like the company is run by frat boys with no idea of what constitutes acceptable uptime. read more

Man, Webpass really forced our hand and we had to cancel our services. Have since gone to one of those multi-national conglomerate ISP & TV companies. Paying less and have had excellent 'net speeds and performance. I'm thankful, yet disappointed. I really, really want to stay with the "little guy". read more

Almost as good as Cox. Just kidding. Cox is a bummer. Installation couldn't have been easier. In and out within fifteen minutes, and on a Saturday even. Pretty impressive speeds so far bit I just switched to the service so I can't really comment on that. No hidden fees or surcharges, either. read more

The best internet service provider in San Diego! Incredibly fast internet for a fraction of what other providers cost. Jaimi, one of the techs, is beyond helpful, going as far as to assist me even late at night if I'm having any troubles with my network! I would never use any other service! read more

I work in the IT industry, so I was skeptical... I've only had it for one day, but let's just put it this way: 93Mbps down, 75Mbps up. Bam. 5 stars. 'Nuff said. Plus, the tech (Jaimison) was on time and got it set up quickly. Goodbye, Cox! read more

AMAZING! Was able to set up an appointment for Saturday morning. The guy who came was right on time and very professional. We ran a speedtest and it came up with 230mbps! Way Way faster than cable. Cox kept raising my rates... they wanted to charge me 100 dollars for only 50mpbs. Now I have a blazing fast connection and a much lower bill. This is a no-brainer. read more

Curtis was awesome quick easy install always comes through when I need them. It was super easy to make an appointment and they were very prompt with their service and of course courteous. read more

Very disappointing service. During the day, when no one else is home the internet usually works fine. After 5pm or so it slows to CRAWL. Got cox installed and couldn't be happier. We actually compared the speeds and cox blew them out of the water with the exact same machines we tested with. Also beware of their billing system. If you cancel before the month is up (in our case a few days after the new billing cycle) you still have to pay for the full amount. No pro-rated refunds. read more

Just had webpass installed by Curtis for the second time. Let me explain. Curtis was my tech a year ago when I made the switch away from major cable companies. Since then I have had nothing but a great experience. You will not get once a month mailers asking you to bundle your services or upgrade to the newest package, and their customer service is quick and responsive. I just moved into a new building downtown, and Curtis was there 20 minutes EARLY for the install, (you think Comcast does that?) He, as usual, was great to work with and the internet was up in 15 mins. Now for the kicker: The building advertised 200mbs download/upload. When we tested my wired connection I hit 350mbs download and just over 400mbs upload. Try getting that, and excellent customer service from another company. Webpass has earned my loyalty. read more

These guys rock!! The faster internet I've ever had and really great service. They went out of their way to work with me regarding my installation. I always recommend them to friends and family. Thanks Webpass! read more

It's freaky fast!! Great customer service and support. Quick setup in about 20 minutes. No other devices needed unless you want to use a router. My installation technician, Curtis was prompt and professional. He got everything going in a minimum amount of time. Both download and upload clocked at over 300mbps during the test and I verified over 100mbps wireless through speedtest.net. I strongly recommend Webpass. read more

I have webpass since 2013 ,switched from Cox ,I have been more than happy with blazing fast speed (250mbps) ,Earlier this year speed was bumped up to 1gb with no extra charge. Thank you read more

It took only less than 10 minutes to get everything working! No more overcharges (from Cox)! Both download/upload speed up to 400 mb/s! Company is very responsive and prompt. They actually helped me to setup the internet access on the same day I signed up the service. The tech was very polite and accommodating. He worked around my existing home server setup without any issues. Best of all, YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR THE SERVICES YOU SIGN UP FOR!!! I will wholeheartedly recommend this ISP! read more

Can I give them 6 stars please?!?!? The Webpass service is fantastic. The Internet service is speedy, the cost is fantastic, but my favorite part is their SERVICE. Jamie was my service technician, and he was amazing. We had so many problems getting disconnected from Cox. It took 7 calls and 6 service visits from Cox before they could get their done. Jamie was there the whole time, ready to go as soon as Cox got their act together. He was patient, supportive and relentless about getting my new service set up. Raul was a super great help, too! I am so impressed with the service I received from Jamie and Webpass. I look forward to doing business with them for years. Thanks guys! read more

Webpass is awesome. If you live downtown you must get it. The speeds at the lowest end are on mobile devices and even those are 60-80 MBPS. On my laptops I am regularly seeing speeds above 200MPBS. I am very impressed with their customer service. The installation was scheduled within 24 hours and the guy even came early and was done within 30 minutes. I cannot express how awesome this service is. read more

Vey happy with their internet speeds, and service until TODAY! I called to let them know that we were moving out of our current condo, and unfortunately found out they do not provide internet service out our new place. We paid $500 in advance for the year, and today I was told that we are not being refunded for the unused 6 months of the service. This is what I call terrible customer service. Be careful about signing the 1 year contract of death with Webpass. Very unsatisfied customer! read more

Jaimison is the best. Such great service. He installed the new WebPass router and was very efficient. When I had questions about it a few weeks later, he came by within 10 minutes and fixed the issue!!! Amazing customer support!! read more

While I am not a total tech geek, I can totally appreciate this good deal. Totally paperless company; all scheduling, invoicing, etc done online. Installer was prompt, quick and polite. I was happy to "unbundle" with Cox, pay less and get much faster speeds. As I said before, not a tech geek, so sorry no actual speed readings, but FAST! I would highly recommend this company which comes to San Diego with Bay Area experience. If you live downtown in a building less than 10 years old, contact them to see if your building is compatible. If the service is already available in your service....GET IT! read more

So, like many of you, I've had my nightmare experiences with a certain cable company, including spending 2 hours on hold yesterday for them to turn my existing internet and phone back on!! My Webpass install was scheduled for this morning. Jamie came early. He was super sharp and had the whole place wired up in no time flat. And, like the others, we did a third party speed test and it was showing over 300mbps in both directions! Super great customer service and super great internet speed so far! read more

Easy quick and effortless sign up and install. Tech was in and out in 20 minutes. Screaming fast service since. Been a week and very happy. Sorry forgot the techs name, but great guy and even early for appt. read more

The customer service does need to become a focus for webpass. I had the service for two years and the speed was amazing and when I finally got s hold of customer service they were great. I highly recommend the service but be aware it does take determination to talk to them on the phone. read more

Ohhhh man, I LOVE Webpass!!! They have the fastest Internet around at a great price. And their customer service is outstanding!!

Where do I begin? From the ease of setting up a next day appointment, the punctuality of the technician, the speed of the internet, and the attentiveness of the staff to both phone and email inquiries, I can say that Webpass has already surpassed my expectations. The download speed in my building is more than double the advertised 200mbps (this is dependent on the type of wiring in the building per my technician) and the upload speed is right at 199. I'm very satisfied with the price and quality of this company's service. read more

Great speeds and great customer service! Installer was quick and professional (jaimison). Webpass is way better than any other provider I've had for the price. read more

My internet connection completely shut down at 12:30 p.m. today. After contacting tech support via 3 emails and 3 telephone calls, I have not received any assistance other than automated responses that they would get back to me as soon as possible. The customer service of this company is terrible!!! I'm in desperate need of internet connection for my work and have numerous deadlines tomorrow - Webpass's fraudulent claim to provide tech support will likely end up costing me a lot of money. Additionally, I kept receiving invoices stating that I owed them $500, yet I had already paid it up front. Had to contact them a few times to set it straight. Although I'm not a fan of Cox, I know they would never leave a customer without tech support. Thinking of going back to Cox; however, Webpass doesn't refund and I would be out $500! read more

Good bye Cox. Excellent so far! Jamie was in and out in a flash, setting it up and making sure I understood how it worked, before he left. I am forgetting the woman's name who introduced WebPass to me at the Alicante in San Diego, but she, too, was great in all she did in getting the thing started. read more

My fiancé and I finally decided to leave Cox and we are so glad we did. Jamie from Webpass made the installation process a breeze. Jamie was friendly and efficient from the moment he walked in. He was also willing to help with our wifi setup, while offering tips on how to best utilize webpass. We are already noticing higher internet speeds! Great customer service and a great product at a wonderful price. Highly recommend! read more

This is the best internet service I have ever had. It is rock solid. Planned downtime is insignificant and always done on off hours. Until you experience this service you cannot really appreciate the difference. But, once you are a customer you will never give it up. Right now I am getting the 500Mb (up and down) for $60/month. That is more speed that I can possibly eat; and I love it. I have this service at my business/residence in San Diego. Not available in Texas :-( read more

We just changed to Webass. Even though we have a complicated setup, one wireless and one wired computer, a WI-fi printer, a voip service, and an internet enabled tv, the team from WebPass stuck it out until everything was working. They ere efficient, effective, and prompt. Special kudos go to Jaimi who figured out the wireless voip setup. read more

Ohhhh SOOOO thankful WEBPASS is in my building now! Not only is the customer service and staff amazing BUT they came and did installation in less than 15 min! No BS from them, NO extended contracts, NO having different bills a month! ALL one flat rate fee! So not only do you get all the above but you also get the top speeds you can ask for in the market for the BEST COST! It's no wonder GOOGLE FIBER acquired them this year! Thank you thank you WEBPASS! read more

Can't believe we didn't do this sooner! Just disconnected our AT&T internet service and installed Webpass. Jamie was extremely professional - on time, knowledgeable and very nice. Prior to making the switch, our speed was max 20 mbps download and 2-3 upload - with Webpass we're getting 350 mbps download and upload. Final plus, we were paying $66/mo for our substandard AT&T service, and we'll be paying $55/mo for a much better product. Once we've tested it out for a month or so, we're likely to use their pay upfront option to get our monthly down to $41.67/mo ($500/yr). read more

Had them before, but this is 2 times now getting going with them has been an absolute nightmare. They can't discern between 2 addresses, just because I lived in the building before, it took days to get them to understand the correct unit. They inactivated the right one and now need to send a technician to get me back online although they were able to shut me down remotely and everything is set up. Two friggin weeks tomorrow..I regret moving off COX which the 50 Mbps was fine. I'd give them 5 for when it's actually set up but they are just awful out of the gate. read more
