    I used an Ethernet cable to get these speeds with Jelley Digital Internet.

    I'm a power user: Zoom calls for work, a family that streams 4K video on several devices, and kids that play games (Plants VS Zombies, Minecraft, and Roblox). In this review, find out why my family is happy with Jelly Digital Internet. But first, I always want to see actual real-world data. Please see the pictures I've attached. Keep in mind these speed tests were taken while my family was actively using the Internet connection. They show what Zoom statistics I was receiving and my general Google speed test results. Call me impressed. This is what I expected. The installation process was quick and the two people that came were able to answer all of the questions I had. I had an appointment in less than a week because I was flexible and told them I could take a spot if there were any cancellations. 1) Make sure to ask the installers to show you their stats. In particular: What upload, download, and latency are they getting? 2) Make sure you do your tests using an Ethernet cable. Or better yet, make sure you have a newer wireless router. I did my tests using a UniFi Dream Router. I've seen reviews on here that have been testing with a weak wireless signal. It's like checking the pressure at the end of a hose that has a bunch of holes in it. If you have an old router, just go with a wired Ethernet connection until you can get a new wireless router. Since I went with their 5-year package, I'll post another update. However, so far, this Internet service has met, and in the case of upload speeds exceeded, my expectations.

    I would like to start off by saying I am quite happy with Jelly Digital internet service, for reasons I will mention below. I have had both Cox and AT&T internet service in the 91913 and 91915 area codes (Otay Ranch and Eastlake area). I will mention my grief when I had those services. When I had Cox internet (91913), I started out paying around $59.99 for the 150 mbps package. Unfortunately, after a year, it went to almost $90 for the same package. The other downfall with Cox is that the upload speed is capped at around 35 mbps. Upload speeds are equally important as download speeds, especially during Covid when everyone is using Zoom or Microsoft Teams which requires a lot up bandwidth to maintain your video connections and decent resolution. With AT&T, since fiber is not available in my area (91915), I was limited at the 45 mbps connection. While the price didn't go up from the ~$60 we were paying, the upload speed was capped at around 10 mbps. Jelly Digital has solved my problems!!!! I found out about Jelly Digital in July of 2020. After reading up on the technology, I decided to give it a shot. I signed up at the end of July of 2020, but wasn't able to get an install until October 2020 (Covid-related issues). Jelly Digital uses wireless technology, similar to mobile phone services, to deliver internet connections over the traditional copper wire underground. Jelly Digital installed a small radio and dish on the top of my roof, similar to a satellite TV dish, and ran an ethernet cable to my home-office. Since the radio on the dish already has a modem, the ethernet cable plugs directly into my router (I have a TP-Link Deco M9 mesh router system which covers 3000 square feet). Although there were some hiccups the first few weeks, Jelly Digital has been right there to assist and fix the first few issues we were having. One of the most favorable aspects is their customer service. Since they are a small company, the customer service and communication has been excellent. Norm and John from the company have personally been there with questions, concerns, or issues that may arise. Customer service is available via text message/SMS, e-mail, online chat, or phone calls. It definitely beats AT&T and Cox by a long shot. As for speeds, the screenshots speak for themselves. I have seen over 200 mbps download, and over 150 mbps upload with the service! The price is also less than both Cox and AT&T. Having the blazing-fast upload speed has made all of the difference since I have been working from home and have had to use more bandwidth while uploading files to my work network, or conduct Microsoft Teams conference calls while sharing my screen and video at the same time. In summary, I am happy to support a local small business that has provided me with the speeds I want and need, along with great customer service at a great price. I would say that if you are in their coverage area, give them a shot if you are unhappy with your experience with AT&T or Cox.

    After much consideration with Jelly Digital it's become clear that they have still made no effort to geniunly fix the situation with us in regards to our internet. They are still in constant contact with us and still are at every moment asking for me to remove this review. The only way this review changes or gets updated to a positive way is if they get their act together and either offer us the wifi we paid for with at the very least a discount for literally over a year of an inconvenience and attempting to silence me as a customer. I believe in good companies doing right by their customers. Jelly Digital has shown to put the average customer as a low priority and instead focus on businesses and companies rather than households and residential needs. I would love to be able to update this review with positive notes that even almost 2 years later they have finally gotten their act together and are now a great recommended company. However still they drop the ball by constantly requesting the removal of this review while not offering the service we only wanted to pay for. I also want to make it apparent that Jelly Digital easily replied to my last review criticizing their service by trying to turn it into a positive one for them, but the second I show a screenshot of them legitimately performing one of the worst practices in business they somehow don't know how to reply to my review anymore.

The salesperson completely misled us about the terms of our contract. We were told it was a 2-year agreement, only to later find out it was actually a 3-year commitment. That was never clearly explained. On top of that, they undervalued our phone trade-in and did not properly disclose the details. We feel taken advantage of and deceived. Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum when customers are making long-term financial commitments. This experience has seriously damaged our trust. I strongly advise others to double-check everything in writing before signing anything.

To my surprise, there were only 4-5 people ahead of me at ATT. They surprised me saying they had all the 17 models available. I decided on the 17 Air (I've gotten the Pro Max versions last 2 times) which is a bit of a down grade as far as camera specs and battery life. But it's the first slim model Apple has put out in sometime and man it is oh so light on the hands and is the BEST looking IPhone to date. I paid off my 14 Pro Max balance and picked up this beauty of a phone. I will probably keep my Pro Max as THE camera phone (when I need the pics to come out better) and use the Air for my daily driver needs for apps and the social media. Life is not bad when you got two Apple phones for use. I walked out and saw the madness at the Apple Store (which was not open yet). Glad I avoided that mess and got my phone here. No hassle and barely a wait.

Their salesman, Christian, came to my home to offer their internet services and I told him i currently pay $50.00 for 300 mbps with cox, and if they could at least match that, then i'd switch to them. He called me a month after letting me know they had a plan for $35.00 dollars for 300mbps, so I agreed to set up an installation. Today the installer, Miguel (he did a great job), came and drilled a hole in the wall, set everything up, and when it came time to the speed test, I was only getting 150 mbps, half of what I discussed with the salesman. The installer called the supervisor, and the supervisor told him that the plan i got was indeed only for 150 mbps. So I call Christian and let him know what the installer and the supervisor are saying and trying to figure out what we can do to honor the service he offered me, and he tells me, that he thought it was for 300 mbps, but i guess not, and if i dont want it, to just tell the service technician to uninstall. I didn't ask anyone for this deal, I had it offered to me. And now the installation technician has done his job, my home has a new hole in it, and I've cancelled my old internet service. The solution they give me is to just tell the technician to take their modem and router back because I dont want the services anymore. Terrible experience, i feel like i was bait and switch'd and hopefully I would just accept what they were giving me. Do not recommend.

I handed him over router box and the adapter. He got on the computer and punched in some numbers from the equipment I gave him. He confirmed that my daughter had her service with Cox and that she canceled recently. No more questions were asked and off I went. Easy, fast and efficient. My daughter had been with Cox for probably 5- 10 years. Within that time, her internet service was raised, I believe once if not twice ($15 more per month, approximately $115 monthly bill). And, within the past couple years, her internet has gotten slower, signals were weak and sending messages with images took longer than usual. She then ended up exchanging her router for a newer version last year. Still, same issue. It was time to say goodbye to Cox. T-mobile offered her $50 service charge, per month, nothing more, nothing less. A new router and an extender. BOTH FREE! A great deal and better signals in her 2000 s.f. home. I almost walked out when Andrea (who's been there for 4 years) asked me if my phone was unlocked. I mentioned that AT&T wouldn't unlock it. I tried at T-Mobile and Verizon but AT&T wouldn't help me since it was a business account. Long story short, Andrea unlocked my phone and got me service. Not only did she do that, but I also saved $10 a month on my cox internet for getting my mobile service. She really knows what she's doing. So THANK YOU ANDREA for helping me!

From there, Keith, the technician, kept in constant contact and arrived right on time for installation. Keith also showed exceptional care for our home during the installation and went the extra mile to help us mount our router and organize our wiring box. While we've only had the service for a few days, it's been stellar. For any other gamers, the connection solid with just an extra ~5-10ms of ping compared to cable. It's rare to get a company that delivers on all fronts (customer service, product, and punctuality) but SDWISP clearly has their act together.

It's hard to find great internet in Jamul, and we finally found a trusted and reliable service. We have needed help a few times, a storm messed up the connection, dogs chewed up our internet cord, had a bad modem. The modem was ours and they replaced it, and it has been amazing no issues for over 2 years. After a storm Keith came out right away after his bike ride on a Sunday and fixed the dish. (Which he didn't have to do that on a Sunday.... but he was nice enough to do it!!) And lastly after our dogs chewed the cord, Keith was able to help us out again right away. We have dealt with a few people in the company and they are all nice and helpful. PRICE is totally reasonable!! we use our internet at lot... Netflix playing often, and of course some COD. We also live where we get zero phone service with out WiFi... and so we really rely on SDWISP and we haven't been disappointed. Again I am very happy With them. Especially because of Keith!!     I am upset that I made a purchase after being told that what this was, a solution to having cable…read more I got scammed into this purchase at the swap meet for $250. I was concerned I had recently set up having cable but the sales guy said I can cancel anytime, that was my right in California. He even contacted the cable company so I could cancel. I told them I don't know how to set this up and he offered to come and do that. Well, it barely worked and he said I needed better faster internet. So more money for that. I was totally not satisfied so I decided to cancel. They wouldn't return my money and take the box back. Are you kidding, they just told me in California I have a right to cancel anything within 30 days. I told them, if I purchased that box in store I could return it for a full refund. I contacted the swap meet, I don't recall them doing anything. I contacted the company and got no where. I disputed the transaction with my credit card company. The company had to pay the total and I got to keep the box. Watch out scammers. They lied, over charged that box by more than $200. Don't get taken, just say no
