If I can only give them a negative stars I will give them -5. I am extremely disappointed with our experience at AT&T. The salesperson completely misled us about the terms of our contract. We were told it was a 2-year agreement, only to later find out it was actually a 3-year commitment. That was never clearly explained. On top of that, they undervalued our phone trade-in and did not properly disclose the details. We feel taken advantage of and deceived. Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum when customers are making long-term financial commitments. This experience has seriously damaged our trust. I strongly advise others to double-check everything in writing before signing anything. read more

I got my last iPhone here (the 14 Pro Max) a few years ago. On a whim, I decided to see if they had the 17 models out on release day. The Apple Store was right across from here and I saw a big line forming for the release day shenanigans. I did not pre order and was NOT expecting any of the models I wanted to be available. To my surprise, there were only 4-5 people ahead of me at ATT. They surprised me saying they had all the 17 models available. I decided on the 17 Air (I've gotten the Pro Max versions last 2 times) which is a bit of a down grade as far as camera specs and battery life. But it's the first slim model Apple has put out in sometime and man it is oh so light on the hands and is the BEST looking IPhone to date. I paid off my 14 Pro Max balance and picked up this beauty of a phone. I will probably keep my Pro Max as THE camera phone (when I need the pics to come out better) and use the Air for my daily driver needs for apps and the social media. Life is not bad when you got two Apple phones for use. I walked out and saw the madness at the Apple Store (which was not open yet). Glad I avoided that mess and got my phone here. Beware. Read what you sign. They won't mention that they tacked on Protect Advantage or Next Up Anytime. You just see it when you get your online receipt. Then you go back to the store because the receipt says the add-ons can only be removed by the store if it's less than 14 days and then you wait at the store and the expert says they can't do it and to come back after 14 days. Whatever. I figured out how to remove Protect Adv online and hoping to remove Next Up Anytime when it allows me. I am part to blame, I should have inspected before signing since we spoke nothing about billing or these add-ons. read more

Simple experience but sometimes that's all you need. I needed help reviewing my bill after doing upgrade online by myself. I have issues before at other locations where they pretty much pawn you off to customer service phone line. I had Marques help me and he reviewed my account and help me figure out what was going on with the pending Bill credits and what to expect. Again simple experience, but when almost everything just tells you to call a hotline or go online and you prefer face-to-face interaction. It makes a big difference. Walked in and two employees were on their phone. Angel who "helped us out" couldn't bother standing up or putting his phone down when we asked about buying a new phone. I asked what colors were available. He told me he couldn't show me because they were locked up. I told him I could wait, I only wanted to see one phone. While waiting for the phone to be unlocked from the safe he sat down far from us on his phone. Didn't even bother to come over to explain deals or what the promotion would look like. Only reason we know it's because another store had previously explained to us. I had never experienced service like this, in other stores they offer to show me the phones, they stand up to help you out and are very willing to help. Angel didn't bother explaining how the payments works. When we purchased the phone he said it's better if we take the phone home because it takes two hours to transfer information. In other stores they are very willing to help, it has never taken 2 hours. I told him I would like for his assistance to get this started and he didn't seem very pleased with this request. Went into the store at 8:10 on a Friday evening and the girl said I'm sorry I already locked all the phones up and put them away in the back. I went in to buy a new phone for myself and my son. only to be met with a worker who decided to wrap up the store approx 1 hour early. It was apparent that all the phones had been secured long before I arrived. Very disappointed. Not someone I would recommend to leave in charge if my store. read more

She should have clarified first before opening it and now she wants me to pay $55 restocking fee. She even told me "It's not my problem that your phone is not eligible". AVOID GOING HERE. This store is only for selling purposes only. Most of the workers don't know what to do, lazy, or don't do their job. Every time I ask a question, they just refer me to an AT&T support number. I hate driving to the mall for them just to not help. Again, none of the workers are really trained for AT&T and really lazy to help out. I hate going to this store so bad. LOOK OUT FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE YOU WHEN YOU BUY A PHONE. I didn't know I am paying 2 phone insurance. Also, AppleCare is a lot better than AT&T warranty (Workers try to fool you that they have lower rates but Apple deductibles is a lot cheaper). I came here looking for a wire. I needed a backup just in case the only one I had breaks. As I was looking at their colorful wires, a gentleman assisted me. I never got his name but he was very nice. I wanted a long wire but that was more expensive. The guy gave me a 20% discount even though I got a short wire. There was hardly anyone in the store which was nice. It's a smaller store, and they had what I need. Buying a wire outside is just as expensive as buying it here. I got a purple short wire. I think it costs me around $16.00. Not bad! This store is descent and was at the Otay Ranch mall which was nice. I may be back to upgrade here once my contract is up. I can't believe they still have contracts. If they do, I don't want to upgrade though. We will see. read more

I hate the people at this store. Rude and never helpful. Never come here if you want issues resolved. Store supposed to be open, the rep inside said they are closed for the rest of the day not even giving a reason for the early closure. Hour in the sign clearly states 10-9 it's 4:53 am. I've been in this store for service and each visit gave me a good experience with their customer service. The associate who helped me twice were so patient and knowledgeable. He patiently able to reach The right department who could help me with billing issues. Needless to say, my billing issues were resolved with my visits to this store compared to when I tried to do it on my own by calling and chatting with ATT customer service. If I could give this store NO stars I would. Everyone there acts like you're bothering or inconveniencing them. So its no surprise that they have no idea what they're doing. We went in the store and were there for HOURS getting new phones. Only to find out 2 days later that NONE of our new phones were working. All of our old phones were still active. They had said in store that sometimes it takes a few hours or a day to port over. Weird but ok sure. Mario didn't activate anything. We each had to call our respective providers and switch everything over ourselves. That was fun and took another few hours. 2 of us were switching from T Mobile and 2 of us were switching from Sprint. Hours spent in the store and nothing was set up. Not the paperless billing discount, not the autopay discount and not the veteran discount. Ffwd to a few weeks later and we get an estimated bill in the mail. So obviously paperless billing wasn't set up...the bill says its $300+ and the upcoming bill would be almost $500! For 4 lines. Definitely not the $105 for 4 lines we were told. So I call customer service, after speaking to numerous different people who have English as their second language and in another country no less and getting NO where with no resolution...I gave up. More hours wasted. I decide to go into the store and see if they know what is going on. Enrique who is the store manager tells me this is an estimated bill. Points to the bill and condescendingly states "It says that right here" Fair enough but im just trying to make sure. He seems irritated and tells me once I get an actual bill to let him know. He will take care of it. Ok. Sorry to bother you sir. 4 days later an actual bill comes. Its $395.13. Wth?! So I call and I get Enrique on the phone again (JOY!). Im waiting as he is trying to figure out why the bill is almost $400 and really can't tell me why and is getting frustrated with me. Come to find out that there is no auto pay on there, there is no paperless billing on there, and there is no veteran discount on there. So what we did in store for hours with Mario I have no idea. I ask him how we rectify this and he tells me that I can call the billing department. Ok....So you said you would take care of it and now you're telling me that billing can. I ask if billing on the phone applies the veteran discount. He says no. I would have to come back in store for that...I proceed to tell him that I don't think it's practical or responsible for them to have completely incompetent employees (himself included) and to make a customer spend hours in store, on the phone, and then in store and on the phone again. I asked him how I get the veteran discount and he was then completely rude, beyond condescending and kept cutting me off. Same attitude he had in store. If the store manager has this kind of who gives a shit attitude its no wonder the employees that work there have the same one. I should have stayed with T Mobile. I went here on Black Friday. I walked in while customers were still inside at about 5 minutes til closing time with the intent on asking a few questions. One of the sales reps rudely announced that they were closed. The other sales rep tried to engage me. While I was speaking to the sales rep that engaged me the other sales rep interjected into our conversation and said that whatever questions that I had didn't matter and that they were closed. Basically throwing me out of the store by refusing to even engage. I walked in an unlocked door before shortly before 9pm while customers were still inside. You would think they would take my name and number and try to set me up with an appointment for tomorrow morning. This guy clearly doesn't care about the store and I just might go back to get his name. There were two guys working. The African American was polite. The other guy, who looked Hispanic was the rude sales rep that basically showed that he could care less about customer service or how much money I wanted to spend. I'm a business owner with 5 lines. Marcus is OUTSTANDING! I came into his AT&T store completely distraught, I needed to buy another iPhone, an Apple associate had given me terrible news regarding my new iPhone 8. The information didn't sound correct to Marcus & instead of taking advantage of my unfortunate situation he walked me across the street to the Apple store and witnessed as I spoke to a manager. The manager assured me that the information I had been given earlier by his associate was incorrect and guaranteed that my phone would be fine. Apple fixed my phone on the spot and it was perfect. Marcus went above & beyond and save me a lot of MONEY & TIME- something I think all of us can use more of. I am so grateful for this amazing man.
