Of all the Targets, this might be my favorite one. All the workers and customers looked like me and as we know, representation matters. The staff were smiling and felt very warm. Selection was best I've seen from a Target in a long time. There were a lot of different items I haven't seen at other targets in the area. The men's section was a bit disappointing, but the ladies I was with found a treasure chest full of goodies at discounted price. Staff were plentiful even though it was 40 minutes til closed. The parking lot was packed and so was the store. Not sure if that's the norm or if it was just everyone needed last minute things. It's not a particularly big store. It's well organized, a lot of light, friendly staff.

Another angle of the aisle

My wife and I were walking through the baby aisle when she stepped on a large thumb tack that went through her shoe. We found one associate but the manager was unresponsive to the radio call. No urgency to help she directed us to go to customer service. We came over and no one was here so I requested an employee at a register to help. The manager, Alex Walker came by and said he will start an incident report and showed no interest in helping us. Quickly handing us off to Alexander Sanchez, Alexander Sanchez helped us fill out the incident report, he was patient and truly interested in our well being even with a small incident as this. Alex Walker should show more interest in safety hazards being a manager and should take ownership and more interest in these cases. If this was my store I would seriously look into the work ethics of Alexander Sanchez as a role model for the rest of the store since he, again, was the only one to show any true interest and help us.

Every time the wifey and I come here, we over spend. Thanks a lot, Target! They always have some type of deal, or they just have quality merchandise that you can't get at Wallyworld. They have some of my favorite items here, like Harmless Harvest coconut water and my favorite deodorant by Method.

Extra damaged pokemon card 12th card in a pack of 10.

Update below: Pokemon related, 100% resealed from their in store cards. This was weird, really weird and i don't even know who's at fault or if it's even a manufacturer error. Literally just bought Kleavor Vstar box 2 of them, first thing i pointed out to my friend was the Lost Origin packs in the front of the box. Idk why, but the top of the packs had a slight vertical cut, but i just assume its bc its an old set? I was pulling my last Fusion Strike and it came with an extra card that was MESSED UP and it was behind the QR code lol Resealed? Or manufacturing error? Update: Yup i was looking thru some community reddit pages and asked some friends and i got the same response of what i should look out for when it comes to resealed packs. Target does not sell this pack, its thru a 3rd party vendor. The glue was super think when opening this product which is super odd bc it never is that thick and the glue isn't supposed to stay on the product, its supposed to come off with the piece of the box you ripped off. Very sad day indeed, no wonder my hit rates with in store retail cards have been literally 0 these past few months with Target...

I was going to purchase a suitcase for my daughter for Mother's Day and I found the American Tourister suitcases on sale. I was happy when I saw them and they were also the size I wanted to buy her since she will be traveling abroad soon. When I went to pay, the suitcase came up at regular price, so I let the cashier know and she told me to speak to the customer service desk. When I did, I was told she would need to call someone for a price check. As I was running late, I told her I would go and take a picture of it for her. When I returned, she said only the "white" suitcase was on sale under the sale advertised. Obviously, I was surprised as nowhere listed did it state a color, other than it said, American Tourister at 50%. I asked her why she wouldn't honor the sale that was advertised, especially since I was showing her what they posted, and she kept saying no because the bar code said "white only." I was furious because I based my entire shopping experience on this and didn't have anymore time to buy my daughter anything else for Mother's Day. I will never return to Target again and will Yelp this same review and tell all my friends about it.

Months I began looking for a living room sofa set. I visited showrooms all over San Diego, Orange…read moreCounty and Los Angeles. Until I visited Furniture Depot in Chula Vista, most the sofas and accent chairs were either cheap, poorly constructed, overpriced, they didn't have the size sofa for my living room... or the fabric wasn't the color I was looking for to match my other living room decor. One store I was going to buy from prior, the owner had me pay for the entire living room set upfront "because it was custom" then after waiting over a month the guy told me the fabric was discontinued. I found a swatch sample in their showroom that was basically identical, but the owner told me it would be $1,500 more for that fabric. I told him the deal is dead, give me my money back, which he did. I concluded the guy seemed nice but he was like a wolf in sheep's clothing. After that painful ordeal, I went and searched showrooms in San Diego's South Bay. I was about to give up but there was one last store I went into that day on Broadway in Chula Vista, Furniture Depot. Right from the beginning I was impressed. Their showroom larger than most furniture stores with vastly different styles throughout. The manager Dustin greeted me shortly after I walked in. He was there to assist and answer any questions I had. Dustin was very knowledgeable about all the products. He put everything at ease. It was a relief speaking with someone in the business who was honest and transparent about everything. After speaking with him only a few minutes I knew I was going to make my purchase through this store. Everything I was interested in could be ordered new, he explained. He offered custom sizes and many colors to choose from. Dollar for dollar, based on the quality of product, I don't think there's any local competitor that can match their service or quality. The turn-around for the custom-sized furniture was very fast, less than 2 weeks. The guys who delivered the product performed a white glove delivery service for a very low reasonable fee, lower cost than most furniture places offer. I ended up buying a 92" sofa, ottoman and accent chair - all new - all matching fabric, great quality, and very comfortable to sit and lay in. I'm glad I found this place. I highly recommend this furniture store. (My photos in this review)

I would not recommend. Yes they give you store credit. That's the up part. The down part is that…read morethey want to give you what they have on floor. That's where they use the I'll give you a good deal at the end of your purchase thing. I had gotten a thrumble (bunk beds with a 3rd bed at the bottom(floor). The material is so bad. It's been 8 months and it seems as if I was donated the bed previously used. The bed on the bottom is made with cheap wood it braked so easily. Like cardboard type. The top bunk bed on the inside had scratches but like chipped off. So I didn't see that. They don't ask if you want the protectors they throw them in for each mattress and they don't even fit they are huge. The point is the wood is so cheap and the beds are about 1,300. I got the insurance and because we got a storage unit I forgot where I put the insurance documents. There for the insurance company says they can't send anyone to fix the bed cause it has multiple damages. The dining table I got I didn't notice one chair had a chip pretty long were you lean your feet on and well it came off eventually. All dining tables at the bottom come with busters for hight. Even if you put them all in they are uneven. They also keep coming out so it gets in even worse. I got a set of sofas and had the 3 seater made into a pull out more money. The mattress is sooo cheap and I supposedly had it upgraded you can feel the metal of the pull out I've had 2 previous ones I gave away and I so regret it. I also got a corner table its rustic cherry Woolf color. Well I that day that I wanted it they wanted to give me the one as an example it had chips and scratches and one of the employees decided to cover it up with black permanent marker and said there take it it's good and I said no I want a new one. When it got delivered I could still see that oil color black marks on it and I told them I'm not keeping this one I told the guy at the store. So take it back. I had to go personally to the whatehouse to pick one up. I did take the mattress from the couch too and told them to check my order and it was the wrong one but they also exchanged it for the same type different color. ‍ I was done at this point and I stopped paying I've been waiting for them to pick the items up cause it's disappointing when you buy insurance for damaged or scratches etc extra and they can't come to fix it or exchange one piece of an item. I have my eye instead at the MOR store. Well I actually already got a bed. Definitely recommend 10/10 and it's been like 4 months. Also got insurance on the electric base and mattress

I wasn't expecting to write a novel so, I'll start with the main points first. Then, if you want to…read moreread the whole story, please do. Especially if you're thinking of shopping at Bob's. 1.) Bob's Phone System for a customer calling in, is terrible. The worst. Indisputable. 2.) "Bobtastic White Glove" service is debatable. 3.) Online Customer Service Information; Order Status, ability to email, etc.; Lacking. 4.) Furniture Quality: Too soon to review. It just got here. It's new. It looks good. (but so did the crap from Living Spaces ) I'd been to Bob's Discount Furniture a year before. I finally made my purchase on the 12th of September. I was looking to replace my embarrassing recliner which decayed inside two years. I bought it at Living Spaces and I would not recommend their products.) I replaced the Sofa and Loveseat of the same group three years ago after they "flaked" away. I bought my new sofa and loveseat of genuine leather from Jerome's. Jerome's IS expensive for me but, I'd say they have good quality merchandise. (but I only have the sofa and loveseat to base that on). Suddenly, ALL these Bob's Furniture locations open up at once. I was surprised to see how many simultaneously all over California opened at the same time. (Google it). Anyway, the choices and prices were more for me and I decided I'd buy my recliner there. And since the store is close by, I can drive there and express my concerns in person if needed. And, it WAS needed! More on that... keep reading. Salespeople, they got plenty. My wife and I never like to be shadowed by a salesperson. They do this at every car dealership and at Bob's too. Once I had questions, I only needed to turn to ask my salesperson Rosa, as she was ready to serve. After selecting the piece, checking stock and deciding on the delivery date, my first concern was the upsell. We hate that too. Rosa tried to convince that by spending more, I could get 12 month no interest financing instead of the 6 months I was qualifying for based on only purchasing the $700 recliner. So, we indulged her and looked at mattresses and other stuff. Eventually, we bought a dresser and increased our purchase to get the 12-month financing. Buying stuff is easy. Rosa with her iPad, showed us what appeared to be a tech-savvy setup by Bob's. She quickly could print an invoice each time we changed our mind. One week later we'd have our furniture on the agreed upon delivery date of Saturday the 19th. We could even track our order like we can on Amazon. So far so good. When first decided to take a look online at my account and my order, I couldn't find it. Neither my phone number, my account number or my actual order number showed anything. I was working in Mission Bay when I called Bob's for the very first time. UNBELIEVABLE! (1) Bob's Discount Furniture Store is the undisputed king of the worst phone system and customer service I have ever experienced. I had better luck calling EDD and DMV during the Pandemic! Suffice to say I was very frustrated. While I was on hold, I literally drove from Mission Bay to Bob's on Main St. in Chula Vista, walked into the store and straight to the back where the "managers" are, waited in line and then spoke with a manger. With my cell on speakerphone, I asked the lady (Yazmin) if she recognized the music. She said Yes. She knew it was there "On Hold" music. And I explained where I'd drove from and showed her how long I'd been on hold. Was Yazmin apologetic? Nope. She explained that, although they have an army of salespeople, only the managers at the back desk, handle calls. And I only saw two. Next, she explained that only ON the day of delivery can I see the tracker. And I could only check my order then too. Sure enough, that's what happened. I left the store discouraged and concerned I'd entered into an agreement that could only lead to Buyer's Remorse. Then Saturday the 19th arrived and the delivery was indeed trackable. We watched as the Bob's delivery got closer. It actually drove into our mobile home park (which is so very easy to navigate) then drove out because they "couldn't find the home". They called and I answered. I explained "Just drive in, go straight down to the end, make a right and you'll see my house. I'll be outside to guide them. They eventually got their bobtail in. They placed recliner and connected it. No problem. Then I explained how to bring in the dresser so it'd be easier for them to navigate the turn. (It's really easy. It's a straight shot with just one turn at the kitchen.) Although they nodded their head in understanding, they really didn't listen and struggled. They had to flip & turn the dresser for not paying attention. My wife immediately noticed damage to the middle drawer. A big chip right in the middle. I began checking all the drawers and couldn't open the bottom left one. The delivery guy came to look and "forced" the drawer open.
