If Ross and Big Lots had a child, this would be it. I'd come across one of these up north in Ceres, and I had some extra time today and wanted to see what they had. What don't they have? I started looking at car-related stuff, like floor mats but they had an engine intake enhancement that was fairly cheap. Don't know how safe it would be since it was universal and things should be tailored to the engine, but they are unique in selling such a thing. They had some decent housewares at reasonable prices, some of which I'd only seen at Asian stores previously. The clothes seemed hit-or-miss, with some irregular stuff like Ross or Marshalls. No, I don't mean that there were 3 arms or 2 neck openings, but they weren't quite right. The store was obviously popular because they had a huge line to the cash register. read more

I definitely liked the items in this store but it's located in a sketchy area of Chula Vista. I found a Herbal Essence shampoo for $2.99 which was on clearance. This normally retails for more outside. I ended up putting it back cause there's no conditioner that matches it. They have lots of stuff. My daughter saw some toys but nothing she liked. They had plenty of clothing and items for the home. I managed to look but didn't find anything. Store was kind of a mess and aisles were a little tight to get through. There's a security guy greeting everyone that comes in the store. Plenty of parking up front. Maybe I will be back to see if they added any other items to their store. read more

Mini Mac and cheese bites here I come! They have a bunch of off brand stuff too but its just like an Easter egg hunt like other places. Lots of gifty frames and what boys too for super inexpensive! I love DD's. I come here to buy fashionable, unique, and on trend clothing. The prices of many of the items sometimes are unbelievable, they are so inexpensive. I mainly buy women and men's tops, dresses, and houseware items. If I am wearing something cute, 9 times out of 10 I've gotten it from DD's. People are constantly complementing my clothing and I always tell them instantly that I got it at DD's. It is best to shop this location on a Wednesday or Thursday for best selection and neatness. This location, out of all the local DD's, can be harder to shop on the weekend due to crowds, overshopped merchandise, and messiness. The employees are always very nice, friendly, and helpful. The issue with the bathroom can make things challenging, but I just try my best to plan around it. I love me some DD's and go several times a month to the various local locations. read more

Hey this clothing store is related to ROSS DRESS FOR LESS. If you did not know this, now you do. My daughter works at Ross, yet, she will shop mostly at DDs because they have the same items, and sometimes BETTER items, for even less money and she can still get her employee discount, because it's the same company. I love the prices at DDs! It's far less crowded, and this being the store that the ROSS employees shop at, I have to give them a high-5 for offering brands that are usually really expensive at a much reduced price! This place was a very clean and well run store. They had multiple good items but didn't fit me. I found some cool items to buy. Found a pitcher for cheap and some exercise equipment I could use. The aisles are big and easy to walk around unlike ross. They have wierd stuff and wonder if it's real. They really have hidden gems. I have some cp3 but not in my size and funny color schemes. read more

I went to this DD's while I waited for my puppy to be groomed. The parking wasn't bad and it's fairly easy to find the store. I was greeted right away by the friendly security staff by the door. I'm not sure if it was because I went to the store the day before Easter, but it was a bit messy in there. There were clothes on the floor and the sections seemed to have product thrown on the shelves. There wasn't as much selection there for clothes as I thought, but again that could be due to it being the day before Easter. I will admit that they have a good selection of other items in the other sections of the store and their items are fairly cheap. You just have to look and take your time. I was able to to find a nice hair curler/straightener for $11. The lady at the checkout line was very friendly and quick. The staff here all seem to be really friendly. I'll probably go back again when there isn't a holiday happening just to see what they have. read more

Need a back pack last minute at 9 at night for my daughters field trip the next day. I didn't want to deal with walmart so I called to ask if they had any in Stock the girl who answered was nice and let me know they did and some were on clearance. I went and was able to find a nice back pack for $5. They lady who answered the phone saw me looking at backpacks and came who and showed me where all the backpacks were. I suggest you just avoid this store because instead of customer satisfaction they made me feel like as a customer I did not matter. The only reason I gave this place a star is because I wanted to write this review. It might be irrelevant to most of you, but I still want to comment. Something as simple as just having to use the restroom turned into a horrific experience. They do not offer a public restroom to the public. Not even for an emergency case. I had to go all around the shopping center trying to find a bathroom. I think the employees at this store are very insensitive and could care less about an emergency situation like mine. They were so rude and selfish. I will never come here again. Thank you for making my first and only experience so horrible. Keep up the great service. read more

i had bought some boots here on the 17th of july 2015 and right when i got home i was about to wear them and the zipper broke , i went back today to return them and the store manager was really really rude and she said no we couldn't return them because she said they had seemed they had been worn because they had a bit of dust , its not my fault they were on your store shelfs for so long . She was also really rude ignoring me and my mom . Horrible service , Horrible shoes . Ross is way better do not shop here everthing is really cheap material and won't last long .
