Getting to shop for each flower makes buying flowers such an intentional experience. The staff is always sweet and kind and hot to help. The cost of the flowers is on the higher end, but you pay for what you get. Unique flowers. Grown locally (or mostly locally). I love coming into the shop, it's an instant mood lift.

(I receive an email to remind me of this perk!) The store just scans the barcode that's sent to me... easy! This Hallmark Shop is better than the ones on O'ahu that charge tax! Yeah! This shop didn't take my money for tax! I was shocked! LOL! The card was totally free! Thank you! I even got Gold Crown stickers to seal the envelope... what a nice touch, eh? My cousins wandered the store and found greeting cards they liked, too! I saw Snoopy, Stitch, Mickey, etc. It was such a pleasant experience with air-conditioning, organized, clean aisles, beautiful displays, and friendly, helpful staff. The first location I went to only did pre-arrangements, so I drove off and went to the next place. The next place looked like it was a home residence so feeling defeated I almost decided to go home. I looked up one more shop, landed at La BoNita and I'm soo glad I did. The shop had a few prearrangements to choose from, the people were very welcoming and helpful, and I was able to add a few more flowers to the arrangement I had picked out. My only gripe is my own miscalculation. My vase at home was bigger then I remembered and I wished I would have added a few more roses to fill out my vase/ bouquet. The girl at the register proceeded to insist she'd just handle my questions instead, dismissing the fact I was asking to talk to the MOD, not her. I explained that my grandma has been coming to See's for years to buy her friends and family Christmas chocolates ($200+ in purchases). Unfortunately, this year she had cataract surgery in both eyes and with her age (now 87 years old) I as her grand daughter have intervened, as she is simply old to be driving up to the Rosecrans location every single year. I wanted to politely explain this, but sadly she was super quick to shut down any dialogue and I was shocked that the manager did not address me in any capacity at all, not even a hello. I was super nice and the main reason I was asking for the manager is simply because I didn't want to be rude by holding up the line. It was honestly such a bizarre experience and felt combative, even though it really did not need to be combative. I talked super slow and calmly, to not be met with the same level of kindness seemed unwarranted. It sounds like we will have to do our own driving arrangements to take my up to the Rosecrans location, which is fine after interacting with the staff here. I also asked if they do any student discounts, or even mall employee discounts (as I am eligible for both), but like I said, they didn't seem like they were wanting to talk, it seemed like they just wanted to prevent me from contesting their line. And the manager watched the entire interaction in silence. As somebody who works in this mall, right near by, I will definitely be actively doing what I can to deter people from coming into this location as it lacked total professionalism from the manager and felt combative for no reason. I want to make it super clear that I do not mind the fact that they are unable to accommodate. I just want to make it clear there are better ways to run a business and this personally not how I would run mine. It is also worth noting that on the way out the manager did address me to offer me a free sample as if that would negate the treatment from the girl upfront . Maybe he was trying to do damage control, who knows, but I politely declined as I felt uncomfortable.

My last visit I got their Grapefruit & Mangosteen Scented Goat Milk Lotion. I wear this everyday and since it's made out of goat milk it's perfect for my sensitive skin. I love the scent and I always get compliments because of the scent. It's pricier than other lotions its size, but totally worth it. Staff here is always nice.
