She also let me know if you join their loyalty program you get discounts when you spend a certain amount. It's easy to spend lots of money here because everything is so nice! My first impression walking up to shop, it's going to be filled with all kinds of goodies. The reality exceeded my expectations. I did give myself a budget before I walked in of $100. I headed to the back to find the Oracle deck cards. She had a decorative table in the back displaying her gorgeous Oracle deck cards. There were little refreshments and amazing cookies to celebrate the occasion. After learning more about Oracle deck cards, I decided to shuffle and pull two cards. They were exactly on point. I became emotional and decided to explore the rest of the store. I realized I did give myself a big enough budget. It truly was a gift givers paradise: stones, teas, essential oils, aromatherapy, skincare, books, socks, stickers, cards, plushies, jewelry, etc. I ended up only purchasing two sets of Oracle Deck cards, but I already bookmarked this shop to return for future gift shopping. Ok, I'm looking for something metallic. I needed something other than the usual picture frame or keychain. There are a couple of store associates, and the friendly gal helps me narrow down some items. She made sure to verify the engraving: layout, font, message, spelling, etc. She gave me an approximate time for me to return when the engraving would be ready. The engraving was not ready as promised so I had to come back another day. Disappointing, but not devastating since I had time before anniversary day. All in all it was ok, except for the one hiccup. Nice people, clean engraving, but the goods were not delivered on time.

I decided to stop in because it was right next to the "big box" store I usually pick cards up from if I do need one. Talk about nostalgic! There are all kinds of goodies in this shop. From seasonal treats to fun Snoopy and Nightmare Before Christmas items. I even saw a few Loungefly bags for sale behind the register! The woman who checked me out was very sweet. She helped me sign up for the rewards program. Prior to helping me, I overheard her having a conversation with someone that I can only assume is a regular customer. The shop really has a warm, small business feel. The next time I need a card, or a small gift, I will come here first! I can't believe I had forgotten what it's like to visit a gift shop as opposed to just grabbing something from a large big box retailer!

I had some issues with customer service though and left unhappy. There was a small line of three people. I was last. No one using self checkout. No one at the balloon bar. I asked a male worker if someone different is running the bar as I needed my balloons blown up and he said the lady at the register would do it. OK, no problem. I waited in line for my turn. When it was my turn, a woman came to the front and told the lady at the register to take her break. She greeted me and was ready to help me. We planned to start with getting the balloons blown up but the lady going on break said no, she needs to pay first. OK, no problem. The woman helping me told other customers who had formed a line behind me that self checkout was available. We finished checking out and when it was time to blow up my balloons, other customers needed help with self checkout, kept asking questions and she completely stopped assisting me to assist other customers. It was still my turn. She then told me she was going to quickly checkout a woman with a giftcard and someone else would be there to help me because she needed help to blow up the balloons and checkout customers. I let her know I had another place to be and was running behind schedule, that I waited my turn in line and would like her to finish assisting me. She said again that she needed help and wanted me to wait for someone else to come up front. This truly bothered me because why did I need to wait for the additional support opposed to other customers? Not only did I not have extra minutes because I was already in the store longer than expected but it was unfair to expect me to continue waiting to finish. I was made to pay in advance but service was delayed. I left. I returned Saturday morning to return the $20 balloons purchased and used balloons I'd previously purchased instead. Saturday morning customer service was great!
