He really knew his stuff and had excellent ideas for improving the kitchen layout. Before I left, he gave me an incredibly reasonable quote that made the decision easy. I have also been extremely impressed by the quality of the cabinets. They feel sturdy and well made, the finish is beautiful, and they offer excellent quality for the price. Although these are RTA cabinets, you would never know it from the finished result. Liad worked closely with his recommended installer, Arturo, to make everything look and feel completely custom. They crafted a beautiful range hood, customized a broom closet to fit our needs, and the included cabinet accessories that were such a nice (and useful!) added touch. The team quickly created 3D renderings and remained patient and responsive through the many changes I made along the way. Our entertainment center was a custom design, and it turned out even better than I imagined. When I was finally ready to place the order, Liad worked his magic to get everything delivered quickly and keep the project moving. Arturo was also wonderful to work with. He was incredibly patient with all of my questions and requests--and there were many! His team's craftsmanship and attention to detail made such a difference in the final result. My new favorite local shoppy shop…read more Home Ec (an indie kitchen shop) shares it's space with Best Bud (a flower studio). They carry the most adorable kitchen items and trinkets! So many cute food-themed goodies sourced from local artists and makers. Also loved the floral pieces they had out from Best Bud as well! Very unique and intentionally pieced together. As I was perusing around, I noticed they had a ton of community offerings- some were regular and others were special workshops and pop-ups. They regularly get bread deliveries from local bakers- I overheard multiple people stopping by asking if they had any fresh bread. They also host super interesting workshops that range from arts and crafts to cooking and dancing. The longer I wandered around the space, the more I felt that this was way more than a shop, it was a budding community that was SO fun, SO colorful, and SO vibrant.
