This place is truly amazing I went on Christmas Eve - still had a boatload of gifts I had to get. It's in a cute location on old La Mesa - lots of cute stores and places to eat. Near the place where they have the Farmer's Market. Across the street they have also have a cute clothes store - I have to go there!!! Believe me, when I say you can find something for anyone here, you can. I spent something like $400. Everyone was pleased with their gifts! This was my first time there, and I found it fascinating. They also have this huge amethyst chair to sit in. The real deal! The women there were so helpful - I absolutely appreciated their suggestions and they were so sweet when I put something back. The owner is gracious and very interesting - all three graces knew a lot about everything. I really had such a great time, especially since the stress I was under...just hours away from closing. What a selection of everything!!! They were all grace under pressure with all the people they had in there...and everyone was having such a great time. Find something unique for everyone Fantastic selection of jewelry, books, chimes, stones, gems - and there were about the same number as women, as men. The whole place is landscaped perfectly, with cases on both sides and little nooks here and there. I've been to metaphysical stores everywhere in the county, and this had a really good vibe and the colors were vibrant. Unfortunately, I went to load the photos and they seem to be gone. I need to go back and I wanted to post this. Sorry for the lack of pics - they were beautiful I had been shopping at Soulscape on the coast, but a few years ago the people who worked there just became younger...and vapid. Just last year I was in there and there was one of those bead bracelets (made of various precious stones). I picked up from the glass counter and it felt light. I took a close look at it and there was a white scratch that went all the way through the color of the stone. It was fake. I handed it to the young woman. It was expensive. I told her it was fake, she argued and I told her to look at the scratch and she was still claiming it was real. I had also asked her if they had organic incense she said there was no such thing, but she could help me find something. Wrong again - yes, there is. That's when I decided not to go back to Soulless Scape. It has been going downhill for the last four years. Unknowledgeable salespeople, quality down and product going up, up, up. And every time you ask to see something in their mostly locked cabinets, there's always an attitude. And don't ask to hold it for too long, they must have a lot of theft in that store. I had gotten into a conversation with a customer and she asked where I live and she told me where Amethyst Moon was and what fun she had there last time she went and nodded up to the vacant woman at the counter who seemed to have no customer service skills at all and rolled her eyes. We went next door and had a great lunch at Lotus. At least one good thing came out of that shopping trip. read more

if u want a "psychic" reading...don't get a "psychic" reading here, the lady who gave me my reading straight up told me i have mommy issues (i have a great relationship with my mom?) that needs to get solved before i worry about other things....other things meaning the whole reason i went for a reading. Overpriced items and they have no idea where they source their sage or palo santos from which is cultural appropriation and unethical. The woman who sells the jewelry is kind but unfortunately her spirit is overshadowed by the negative energy of the shop owner/register woman. I've been in multiple times, when bought my wedding jewelry there, and this woman has such a negative vibe. It's off putting. She profiles people and watches them like a hawk. She also took joy in making me feel stupid when I had questions about the jewelry (a day when the jewelry woman wasn't in.) After trying and trying to walk into this place with love and kindness as a customer, I am done. Everything they have you can get cheaper elsewhere from a shop with nice employees/owner. They have a large array of incense, tarot cards, accessories, stones... candles... etc. There was soo much to look at! We spent a good amount of time in the store. I absolutely LOVED this store when it was in El Cajon! I'm not sure if anything has changed besides the location, but it is just not the same. The energy in the store is so soooo off and unwelcoming. The employees (maybe owners?) are uninterested and unfriendly. Some of the stuff in the store is really beautiful, but it's also filled with a lot of "stuff," which is probably mass produced and seems to be low quality. IDK, just a very disappointing experience. I've been here a few times over the years and safe to say it's one of my favorite stores in all of San Diego. Always wonderful to go to, there's a good & calm vibe in the store and the people there are really kind! They've got a great stock of products and everything is artistically arranged. It's also my go to place for rocks (I have an obsession) and they've got the best I've come across in town. It's just a great store overall and I'd definitely recommend making the trip! read more

I went to this store to get a psychic reading from Rev. Irine when walking around La Mesa. I've gone to several psychics in my life and this was the worst experience out of all of them. She was so inaccurate and when I'd express that something didn't resonate with me, she'd say I was wrong and she knows it because she sees it. She described me as the complete opposite of who I am and wouldn't acknowledge my debates to that. She also mentioned that I should eat healthier and I was shocked because I'm a very petite athletic woman who eats extremely healthy and prides myself on that. When I mentioned my confusion and that I do eat healthy, she looked at me and said I should eat healthier and that she is being told that so it must be the truth. It was a waste of my money and I left feeling very disappointed in this shop and her abilities. She is such a phony and tried to talk the entire time to make the time pass by without leaving room for challenging or questions. This reflect poorly on the shop and their choice of readers that they provide. I have never left a bad review on a place before, but this reading was so frustrating to me that I've decided to write my first bad review. Do not go to Rev. Irine for a reading! They carry sage and palo Santo. They have a great assortment of crystals and beautiful dream catchers! The store was super clean, well organized and stocked. as soon as you step in the door, you ca. Love this little shop! I've been in here a handful of times to peruse and remembered it had some more witchy items so I stopped by as I was on the hunt for some ingredients. Unfortunately I didn't find what I needed but I did manage to walk out with a couple hundred dollars worth of other items! They have a BEAUTIFUL selection of jewelry! Lots of pagan related jewelry as well as gorgeous gemstone silver pieces. This is mainly a zen/metaphysical type store but they also have some more pagan items like chime candles, and pentagram necklaces. Okay, so here's the thing: I just didn't care for this meta shop too much. Overall, it is definitely very much a gift shop - which is totally fine! However, a gift shop isn't really what I'm looking for when I'm looking for things in the spiritual realm. Everything in this shop was quite deliberate (i.e. the amethyst, for example were all double terminated points, and very shiny - which is fine for someone who is very into the vanity aspect of their crystals). I just felt like much of what I was seeing in this shop was meant mostly for kind of like your average person, who isn't necessarily into the meta realm, or looking for natural crystals. Also, the crystal selection was quite small, and didn't really suit my needs - even some of the basic crystals (i.e. clear quartz, aventurine, etc), they only have in little teeny tiny stones or points. I got a couple things that I needed, but I probably won't come back again :( read more

Really nice little shop that myself and couple co workers stopped through on a luncheon trip. It definitely fits in well with the row of restaurants and stores in the neighborhood we were visiting. I have seen the psychic Anya here twice. I first time was... ok. She talks non-stop about herself and came across as snobbish and critical. She also indicated I would transition before long, which has given me a lot of stress. I didn't ask her for that information. Once I got home and thought about it, I got no helpful or useful information at all. She didn't ask me to even pull a card. Don't want to be that person but I think it was really rude that when I went up to pay, the cashier lady greeted me with "cash or card" no customer service at all. No "hello" or "thank you" but to the white people she was very friendly. I'm never one to bring race into anything but that was my experience today at amethyst moon. They have a large variety of spiritual items and gifts. Lots of incense to choose from, statues, jewelry, cards and books. I was hoping for more crystals but it's not just a crystal store so don't go in there expecting that. Though I did find a few unique gems at a great price. They sell the Rider-Waite deck which I had been looking for, and the woman at the counter found a special set that came with 2 books and some art prints. It was a total score!
