Decided to get rubber heels for one pair ($60 vs $50 for the original sole material) and the original Birk soles for the other ($130). I also asked about another pair of espadrilles, which they said they could glue (I think $50?) or I could buy the glue myself for $15 (that they sell) and do it because it's a pretty easy fix.
