I'm gonna be honest, a couple years ago I used to come here and they used to be really rude. They would always watch you as if you were shoplifting (I would never and I like to believe I don't have that vibe about me) and would never give good customer service. I wouldn't shop here because of that, but would always pop in with friends. But the last couple times I've been the workers have been really sweet and nice and no longer give the vibe they are watching you like a criminal. My favorite pair of pants is from here. They have awesome clothes. My 6 year old...thinks this is the coolest store ever. He has recreated Amethyst Moon in his bedroom. Today, we went in the the store to see the new selections. The owner was there and my son told her all about his store (he has told nearly everyone that works there) and she was so kind to him and then showered him and his brother with some amethyst moon gifts (we also made a few purchases). It was my second time going into this place and I have to say the energy is amazing. The first time I went was to pick up a gift for a friend. I was interested in a particular crystal. The lady who helped me went to the back to show me some crystals that weren't on display. She was so patient and helpful. I ended up getting a few things for myself. They also have so many fun items like face oil, lip gloss, perfume, eye serum, and more. During my first visit I got the face oil and lipgloss along with an epidote and tigers eye stone. I bought the last lip gloss and ended up losing it. I called, and they had an extra that was defective, so they saved it for me for the next time I went in. It was so thoughtful, and made up for the one I lost. They have a beautiful selection of products, and staff is extremely helpful. During my second visit I was looking for a tarot deck that came with a detailed description booklet. One of the staff members took his time to help me find the right deck. Reading all the reviews on this store got me so excited that I couldn't wait to have a day off from work to visit it. I came in today and felt the worst energy. The woman who worked over the counter had a scowl on her face and didn't even greet me. All the sudden more people came in and she started greeting but the greetings themselves were very forced. I don't know her name but she had short black hair and glasses. Onto the store itself. There are a lot on lovely insense but they are ones you can get at a smoke shop. The crystals aren't that good either. The jewlery was OK . Got a pair of cute eating but worried will fall apart with the big chunks of super glue attached to them. Won't be coming back. Need a friendlier , happier place with more selections. I was also badgered by someone who claimed the owner was his mother on yelp saying I lied about purchasing the earrings at this establishment. Loveee this place it's small But perfect my boyfriend started working at his sister Restaurant during Covid the hills so I would pick him up and drop him off as I was driving around I came upon this place. They have a Lotta other restaurants and stores to look through so that was nice but I can't hear for the rings let me tell you!! They have nice things but there's a better crystal store in Hillcrest & Little Italy where they don't give off the energy that we aren't their target demographic. The lady (maybe the owner) kept coincidentally needing to work on things we were by and no one greeted us when we walked in, ironically the store got VERY quiet when we stepped in and as a former retail employee that's code for "watch them." I happened to run into this store today and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell from all the fresh candles and oils! Definitely a pleasant place to be in. They had everything from clothing, jewelry, oils, candles, decorations and rocks. Their jewelry is especially cute, so i decided to buy an anklet! The anklet cost me $10.80, including tax, which was kind of pricey but worth it! I walked out and tried on the anklet and realized it was too big on me. I went back and asked the lady at the cashier if I could trade it for a bracket that was priced the same and she said of course, as long as your happy with your purchase. I've been there briefly twice, one for looking and lastly to go in and purchase a singing bowl ( heart chakra ) and a citrine and some smudge sticks. Everything was great except the singing bowl's color seems to rub off on my hands! A minor issue but I'm still very satisfied! I went to this shop yesterday looking for some crystals or stones to help keep me balanced and to open up my psychic abilities. I am new to this and was looking for some guidance, and since this shop had great reviews I thought I would give it a shot. So I went in and there was only a small group of customers with 1-2 workers helping them, the other 2 workers were not doing anything, except watching that interaction. So I was not greeted until after a few minutes, actually not until those customers left. When I informed one of the workers about what I was looking for she was very stand-offish towards me and basically told me to look at a laminated card that talks about various crystals and what they are mainly used for. I did not receive a real human's help, just look at a card. Ok...I already researched a bit online about various stones so I didn't exactly need to look at a card. Nevertheless I left the store after browsing a little bit and I don't bother on returning. I went to a shop nearby and they were very welcoming and I will go to that store for now on instead. Instead of giving this place 1 star, which it deserves, the shop was cute and had a lot of items to choose from, so I gave it 2 stars. read more

I returned a few other times and each time she opened up more and suddenly there is this very warm woman with a healing vibe. I loved this place SO MUCH when it was in El Cajon & Teri was the cashier. She was nice and straight to the point! I used to go almost every other day to buy candles and various healing stones. But since they moved I now have to buy my candles online. The new lady with shorter dark hair is rude she accused me of stealing saying "word travels fast around here" and threatened to call the police on me. I've never stole from this place. So the price isn't very competitive. I recommend south American imports in old town if you are looking for a genuinly HUGE selection of crystals, stones, fossils etc. At FANTASTIC prices, best in all of San Diego County. This more of a touristy place in a touristy section of La mesa. The hippie lady that worked there was nice but there was another person the second time who gave me a suuuuper weird vibe. I felt judged (I'm highly intuitive) and didn't like the sensation. But it's cute to drop in and buy some incense and stuff and maybe even chat with a medium.
