Blanca was working the register and she called the shoe dept to see if they could locate it; unfortunately, that person was on break. Blanca asked the manager if it was okay for her to go look for it. Blanca went above and beyond by taking it upon herself to try to find it. She also had to take the time to make a price tag for the sleepwear since it was missing. I felt bad for Blanca because I know how busy that store is. She actually thanked me for waiting. I told Blanca how much I really appreciated her taking the time to personally look for the sandal and to make the tag. That's what I call exceptional customer service! The transaction went well and received my refund in no time. The register lines at TJ Maxx was definitely worse than Ross. They were very slow. Staff at register was friendly though. There were various registers open, of course, all busy. There was one security guard posted at the entrance area and overall store looked ok. From a quick glance at the entire store, the store did not organized or neat.
