I read some pretty awful reviews about the customer service here, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I hustled in with my normal jovial jive. Mike kindly greeted me and led me to exactly what I thought I was looking for, Cobian sandals. While Cobian's weren't at all it for me (too tight in the middle of the foot), as I browsed Mike perfectly balanced providing support/giving me product knowledge with allowing me time to try things on slash check things out. In other words, anytime I had questions, which I had quite a few, he was there, but not in a hovery way. He informed me of other products, but really only when it was appropriate. As soon I tried my first pair on, Mike let me know where to find the nearest mirror. I knew I was leaving the store with sandals today, and Mike made that experience a breeze-no hiccups, no funny business, just excellent customer service. The staff were ALL super helpful and knowledgeable about the product and also in helping us find the right watch. The watch that we liked was out of battery. The owner offered to switch out the batteries for us and highly recommended the watch to us. All of the staff members were rocking them. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to support a local business so we agreed. As soon as the watch was ready we received a text and we went to pick up the watch! We love it!! The store is a disaster. Messy. Unkempt and No staff at all to be seen. On check -out 100% for real- it was 27 minutes on line. They had not less than 15 people in line all the times and only one tragically overworked cashier. He did what he could be he was in overwhelm. It would help a great deal if the manager came out and simply told the people in line they were two people short today and they were doing the best they could. They didn't care about out us at all. Three people in line left and simply dropped their would be purchases on the floor. I chose not to do that as the pair of shoes I had was the exact thing a friend wanted and they were perfect. So I waited like a cow with the rest of the in-cared for cattle. Although I shop mainly for food here, they have everything a variety store has: clothes, perfume, toiletries, household goods, school supplies, furniture, cleaning supplies, loads of holiday items, etc. The two main downsides for me are that some of the food items are close to expiration date, and sometimes the lines to check out take a long time. The helpful staff will try their best to give you all of the discounts that you're entitled to. I shop the Santee store as well as the Lemon Grove, which frequently have some interesting finds, making my trips there both fun and productive.

Stopped carrying some items , need to travel to bigger targets for certain bath and kids items and they don't carry my milk And creamer of choice anymore. Sad days. This pickup takes longer than other locations. Visit when needed. Customer service is ok, might need some training on smiling , and basic greetings would be nice.
