Technically in a place like this, the prices should be significantly discounted or cheaper, but I feel like they're not. Almost like an indoor swap meet of used household items. I've experienced better.

The shop has a great selection of vintage clothes, however, because of the male employee's attitude (I sure hope this is not the owner) , we will never return. From the moment we walked in he was staring as if he was confident they were thieves. We left but my son couldn't get a pair of pants off his mind so went back at 5:53 to buy them. He asked to try them on and the man rudely snapped at him and said "we're closed!". Was he having a bad day and doesn't know how to control his emotions? Was it our skin tone?

I have been shopping at Kiko + Sven for the past several years. It was one of the first stores I…read morelearned about when I went to the very first Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll, which is a local, annual sip and shop event. I then went back to do a little holiday shopping, and have been back many times since. I am also happy that the shop continues to host a spirt stop on the stroll. Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like. Also, they will make you an account so you can put your phone number in for discounts without any coupons or solicitaitons.

I damn near wrecked my Stetson Open Road Deluxe Natural. After the show I set it down in the corner…read moreof the room I was performing in and broke down my gear. When I went to get my hat a while later someone had moved it to the floor (yikes) and a plastic cup of Coke had apparently slipped off a window sill above and dumped its contents into my upside down hat. By the time I got there the Coca Cola had been drip drip dripping through the top of the upside down hat and puddling onto the floor. I about threw up when I saw it. I may have said some bad words. I ran to a sink to try and rinse out the horrible brown stain right on the front crown but the damage was done. I thought my negligence had destroyed a $300 hat. That's when I found El Centenario in Chula Vista. They delivered. They washed it, reshaped it, and stiffened it to Stetson factory standards. All for $50. Couldn't be happier. If you wreck your had, trust them with it.

My husband went to Audio One Broadway looking to replace a blown speaker in his amplified Subaru…read moreWRX with a comparable replacement. After explaining his current Infinity Kappa system, the staff recommended Focal ACX 165 speakers, which we purchased. Before installation, another professional audio shop informed us these speakers were not comparable to his existing setup. They remained unopened and unused, but Audio One refused to issue a refund, even after we spoke with the owner. Instead of addressing our concerns, they dismissed the second shop's opinion and claimed they were only trying to make a sale. Ironically, that shop had actually sent my husband to purchase speakers elsewhere before ultimately offering him a discount on a more appropriate set for his vehicle. A good car audio shop should recommend equipment that matches the customer's existing system, not simply make a sale. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before purchasing from this shop.

I went to the Kicker Audio web site to search for an authorized Kicker dealer in the Chula Vista…read morearea and came across Car Audio One. I stopped in a few days ago to see if they had the speakers that I wanted for the front and rear of my Ford Explorer and they did. I bought the equipment and got there at 9 AM today to have them installed. Within an hour, I got a call saying that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. When I got there, the vehicle was parked in the front and John proceeded to have me test the system before leaving and showed me the old equipment in the back seat. I attribute the short installation time to the fact that I was replacing aftermarket speakers in my Explorer with new ones so they only had to remove/replace what was already installed. No cutting or splicing of wires was necessary. I was also told that two people were working on my car which sped up the installation. The only thing that I wouldn't do is force someone to leave feedback before leaving. As I was getting ready to leave the showroom, I was asked for my phone and before I knew it, a Google review page was open with five stars already selected and a photo was attached. When I checked my camera roll later, I realized that John had taken the picture himself! I don't mind leaving feedback for a business and have done it countless times but I would rather do the work myself rather than it be forced. P.S. There was only one small issue that was noticed when John was trying to get out of the passenger side of the car. He noticed that the inside door handle wasn't working and he had to open it from the outside. This was quickly fixed by one of the techs who popped the door panel and connected the necessary part.
