More organized and more space than the other Kohls locations, as it has a second floor for kids and household supplies. However, there's no cashier on the second floor. You have to go down to the first floor to pay. Always cheaper price for a good value products. Staffs were friendly. Alot of Christmas decorations to choose from. MASSIVE 2 story location and parking lot. It takes you back to a bygone era of retail. In a melding of the old and new, I was here to return Amazon items through their partnership with Kohl's. The store is clean and well laid out. Organized too - plenty of signs directing you to the Amazon return station in the back left of the first floor. Not sure if it was an outlier due to the holidays or if this is the norm, but there was a MASSIVE line on Thursday around 10am - like 20+ people. I left. Didn't have time to wait and felt bad for the one person staffing the station. On a Friday morning around 8:30am, the line was much more manageable. The gentlemen working the station was very polite. A good experience to balance out the previous day. Perhaps they can add more people to this station in the future? read more

Everything was fine until it was time to checkout. I asked the cashier nicely about the 20 percent off coupon and her response in a annoyed tone " I ain't got no coupon, you got a coupon?". I said no and then she tells me my total. I was like wow Im getting all this attitude just for asking for the coupon.I also noticed her coworker gave the 20 percent coupon off to the other customer. We are fortunate to have 2 Kohls shopping stores in Chula Vista. Unfortunately, I favor one over the other. The signage is a bit deceiving because this store is 2 levels, and the signage points forward instead of stating the words "upstairs" In any event Amazon returns is located in a separate area, to the left of the stairs, and the escalator is to the right. Upstairs is mostly the children's sections and appliances. The customer service had a few people in line and I didnt even notice the pickup area that is set up the same as the other Kohls. It wasn't until my son mentioned it to me, "Hey mom pickup is over there" - not well advertised We did browse the store, even with the clearance sales going on, it is a bit empty and wide spread out... like there isn't enough inventory to fill the store... I do prefer the other Kohls location better as this location is located in a smaller complex and getting out you are only allowed to turn right unless you go to the back of the building to catch the street light. Everytime I visit here to purchase makeup, Ana and manager Refrika( I think that's her name ), the 2 of them is very helpful, and knowledgeable with all the products. Extremely professional and kind. Honestly I don't really shop here. We came here to do an online return for my brother. We looked around and my daughter found a stuffed animal that was $10 so we got it for her. The prices here a little over priced and you can find the same items at a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I honestly wouldn't pay so much for stuff here. The inside was clean and employees were nice. I was so tempted at buying new shoes that were on clearance but again I don't have any space in my luggage. Some shoes had good prices but others were still pricey. Clearance prices were still pricey as you can get it somewhere else for an affordable price. Plenty of parking up front. read more

The reason this place has such low stars is because of management. Stephanie is the worst manager they could have hired. She is extremely rude and dismissive. She doesn't know any of the store policies. How can you be a manager if all you do is spew out lies that don't exist. She told me that I'm unable to do a return without a receipt, she refused to return my items because they recently changed the policy. After I left I went to another location to get a second opinion because after doing my own research I learned that everything she told me was not true. They returned my items with zero issues. I'm not a regular at Kohl's, but ive gone to this location several times. I have never seen it busy or crowded, and it always seems very clean. Not necessarily a discount store, but they do have good sales, deals, and discounts pretty frequently, if not constantly. Staff are friendly but not that many wondering around besides at the registers. They also accept amazon returns here. Lines for amazon returns can be a lil long but the actual process is so quick and hassle free. A couple of days ago, I shopped and did not have my phone with my 30% off coupon. I said I would return the next day. I went in two days later, and Lauren, who waited on me, ran and checked and it was still there. She was super friendly, accommodating and with a smile! I shop a lot, and there are so many people in positions they hate, it's a shame. Not this Kohls! And they keep their inventory up. I only live a few miles from the Rancho location, but refuse to spend my money there. Looks like they are an outlet store, or are getting ready to close. I was stressed out because I had to get my husband some clothes for a job interview and I thought by chance if I ordered it online prior to the store opening that it should be ready. Well I should've know better when I walked in and saw all the orders being processed as MYRA was running all over the place trying to fulfill each and every one of them. I walked up to the customer service lady and tried to plead my case but she wasn't able to help me. And just like an Angel, MYRA somehow knew exactly where r where to find my order and rushed it right to me. She truly was my life safe that day. And Thank goodness Angel was there to help expedite the process of picking up the pkg because it it weren't for her, I probably would've been waiting on my pkg passcodes. DO NOT SEND YOUR AMAZON RETURNS HERE. I usually group together at least a couple of my "to-return" items to go in a return together instead of all separately. Ever since I started returning my Amazon items here, one of the items in my package always doesn't make it back to Amazon. The first time, I naturally thought it was probably because of all the mail carrier issues we've been having in the US. The second time, I thought "I've been returning Amazon items for years through UPS, and this has never happened. This third time, I kept my receipt to show as proof to Amazon just in case something went "missing" again -- and it did!! This is one of the better kohls. The particular location is in the same parking lot of Krispy Kreme, Jersey Mike's plus wings and things. It's very clean, and organized. Pretty well stocked. Cashiers are very friendly but slow. The lines barely move. Prompt, efficient service certainly needs to be addressed. They also offer Amazon drop off here. Kohls offer very good sales. Make sure to sign up for their savings program. Overall, a great store. read more

Half the time I'm in and out within 5 minutes, but I've had other instances where I wait up to 30 minutes - usually due to only one person working behind the counter. Came to make an Amazon return, there were about 20 people in line. Used to be able to return upstairs, went upstairs and they said they not doing returns until after Christmas. Only ONE person making returns downstairs. * Just asked if there is anything they can do and their response was that kohl's does returns out of courtesy for Amazon and they can't afford to add an additional employees to take returns. They get nothing out of accepting returns and many kohl costumers complain. Then why participate???? read more

I walked all over before I figured out that the customer/guest service is on the second floor. There was no sign for it and no associate on that Saturday that I could ask from. Its one of the most spacious Kohls and very tidy and neat. I was surprised to see that there was hardly any mess in the clothes hangers. Customer service was very nice and that's one thing that I'm always pleased about Kohls. They go an extra step to help you out. read more

This store is fairly organized and clean. I think I may have bought some socks or draws here in the past. I mainly come here now to return Amazon items on the second floor guest services area now. It's pretty easy to do so. I'd reccomend coming in to do this on a non peak hour and day to get in and out. read more

Absolutely the most organized, clean, friendly, least crowded and biggest kohls I've been to. All the employees are nice and helpful. My kids love the escalators and that we have to use them to get to the kids section. Customer service is upstairs and never crazy busy like other stores. Since the store is big they are able to keep a lot more stuff for better selection. I bought all my girls back to school stuff here on a day that you get $15 back for every 50 spent plus reward points. In the end i got $85 back in Kohls cash and bought myself a kitchenaid attachment for less than $10 which is unheard of.
