Even with a receipt she was unwilling to do more than rattle off "Ross's policy" of no tag, no refund. I mentioned they are currently carrying the same pants, couldn't she use those as a reference? She suggested I go back to the original Ross I bought the pants (that this store is also currently carrying) for them to check the surveillance to verify I bought the pants. I don't know if this Ross has a theft problem, but I've never had to to ask security at any store to prove I bought something they're carrying I called a different Ross closer to me and explained my situation. They told me as long as I had the receipt it was no problem. I don't think I will be back at this Ross.
