Blanca was working the register and she called the shoe dept to see if they could locate it; unfortunately, that person was on break. Blanca asked the manager if it was okay for her to go look for it. Blanca went above and beyond by taking it upon herself to try to find it. She also had to take the time to make a price tag for the sleepwear since it was missing. I felt bad for Blanca because I know how busy that store is. She actually thanked me for waiting. I told Blanca how much I really appreciated her taking the time to personally look for the sandal and to make the tag. That's what I call exceptional customer service! Blanca is truly an asset to the store.

My experience today at TJ Maxx in San Ysidro was unfavorable. I thought to myself, I should just stay in line since I'm already half way down. I recall seeing approximately 20 plus customers ahead of me while more were piling up behind me. It felt like 15 to 20 minutes had passed until I arrived at a register. The transaction went well and received my refund in no time. The register lines at TJ Maxx was definitely worse than Ross. They were very slow. Staff at register was friendly though. There were various registers open, of course, all busy. There was one security guard posted at the entrance area and overall store looked ok. From a quick glance at the entire store, the store did not organized or neat.

We picked up a relative at the Coffee Bean who was visiting from Mexico and it was a seamless pick-up. Parking is pricey, so I would recommend visiting some stores if you're here to meet-up with someone. Lots of folks pass through here from Mexico and vice versa.

Crocs are one of my go to errands shoes so I'd figure he'd love it. I even went searching for things for me and there are so many options for women's shoes, I wanted to be good so I opted not buying any BUT I did get a cute pair of earrings and a candle totaling up to $15, what a steal, the Crocs were under $35 which was also a great deal. When I got to the cashwrap I looked all all the travel trinkets and snacks which is a really smart thing to do, the cashiers were super nice and made the experience fast and efficient. I asked if they could call the Nordstrom Rack 800 number because they said they could not help me without a receipt and the items would not come up with my phone numbers. I have been a cardholder for over 30 years. One thing Norstrom was always know for was customer service. I won't be shopping online anymore since they have made it too difficult. I have mobility issues and trying to find handicap parking is just too hard. I would not leave the store until I was assisted. I asked for the 800 number got the rep online who talked to customer service in the store. Thank God for the nice gentleman at the 800 number who was very professional and helped me resolve my returns.
