Amazing location with a variety of options for shoppers. Love that there's no line and there's plenty of self check out registers. I bought 2 transformers and office supplies went in and out within 10min. This store is fully stocked and organized. The customer service at the pick up registry for my gift order was friendly and helpful. Overall a positive pleasant experience highly recommend this location for future purchases. read more

Terrible service by the two guys at electronics department. They just don't appreciate their work. Seems that they are being forced to come to work. Kalem and Sebastian G, you need to learn how to deal with costumers. You're providing a service, not making us a favor! read more

It's Dec 7 and Target has very and I mean very little Christmas decor out. I don't blame the store, but Target the Corporation. I remember a time when Target actually cared about customers. As in most Big Stores Target has lost that loving feeling. Went too Walmart who had more than enough Christmas still out. read more

Horrible service at customer service. Lina with the gray hair and glasses discriminates customers and treats them unequal. If not situated this could end up in a law suit for target. Lina doesn't follow store warranty's and has told me several times she can not assist me because she has other guests to attend. ??? Treated unfairly. The store team leaderships need to situate this issue. Employees at store #1815 said their district manager told them to not valid the cat and jack warranty. However, corporate said their warranty is 365 days a year from the date of purchase. read more

This afternoon I went in to exchange a Item. There was 1 person in front of me. & before I knew it someone came of the back to help me. What a pleasant young lady. She was so great at what she does. She even told to look in the clearance items to see if that could help me. That was a great idea!! Who doesn't like to save a little $$$. Target is always a favorite read more

So I know that target is target and you can only expect so much from customer service. But I have to be honest. This target is the worst target I've ever been to. it is not very clean. The quality of customer service is really bad. They have a bunch of young kids working that really don't care. They work the least amount possible just to keep their jobs. and I know this trickles down for Management. This place really needs a lot of help. read more

I've always been a big fan of Target, even though most of my male friends can't stand the place because their significant others always drag them along for shopping excursion. Me, I love the place because they always seem to have exactly what I need at a very reasonable prices. I came in to buy some soap, and fortunately for me, the Irish Spring Bars I like were 10% off (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/target-chula-vista?select=R8yRECbi9fltLr1ZWEUh-Q#hCSxPTSXt4gWOntHqHM5pQ), thank you very much, and the cleaner I came to buy, also had a price cut! Scored indeed! (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/target-chula-vista?select=R8yRECbi9fltLr1ZWEUh-Q#yQoYOs7ywiD3ykM7UGYTVw) I am a big fan of Triscuit crackers, so I picked up the ones made with sea salt, I love those with a little cheese in top. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/target-chula-vista?select=R8yRECbi9fltLr1ZWEUh-Q#8KGLgKH8tXcHMYWlMtfWeg) I had a successful shopping trip. I found what I needed, all on sale, and I got out without a hitch. The girl at the register was cool, and she gave me a free sample thingie of hand lotion. So, if your significant other does not want to go to Target with you, well I am in! read more

This location is close to mama and papa dukes. There is always more than enough parking, although, getting inside is another structure. I like going through the east side to avoid going through that 3 way stop (by Island's). They have everything I need in this location. And if they don't, their competitor (Walmart) is just down the street. I like this location. I've been here during Black Friday and I managed to find parking and didn't have to walk too far. Also, workers are friendly and such. Only one bad thing is the last time I swung by here, the women's restroom was out of order. No bueno. read more

Target used to be my go to store. I could always find good clothes. The items the carry now are so bizarre. I went for the first time a few days ago to see if anything had gotten better but honestly it was worse. It feels like they forgot who is most likely their main consumer, the suburban family. Its gotten a bit to out there. read more

I'm a little bias to this location since it's the closest one to me haha. But I do notice that a lot of the items I want online, they don't offer at this location. But I assume it's because they're serving the whole east of 805 Chula area. What I do appreciate most about this location is their drive up service. I've started using it a lot since covid (like the rest of America) but the wait times are short. Compared to their competitors down the rd *cough*walmart*cough who takes an hour. Anyhow this location has all your basic target needs read more

Poorly ran store. The lines and wait are extremely long and painful. Only a few checkout isles open. Shopping here was an extremely unpleasant experience. I eventually left the store without making a purchase due to the long wait. read more

Im very disappointed this is my local target. As a healthcare professional on the front line of this pandemic, an employee refused to sell my wife and I 1 bottle of hand sanitizer and a bottle of disinfectant spray. There are signs all over the store on certain items that specifically said "1 item per household", but this was not the case for these 2 items. We stay at the hospitals for you, please remember that. read more

The Drive-Up pickup process was incredibly easy and super convenient. I ordered my stuff last night and it was available for pickup this morning at 7am! I checked in on the Target app and as soon as I arrived an employee was out with my order. They recommissioned a dozen parking spots for Drive-up orders, so it made the entire experience pretty stress free. I'll be doing this again. read more

Used to go this store most of the time but it has changed on the last couple of years. The store is so ghetto now. What happened? Looks like they do not clean this store like other Target stores. Now have to drive farther if we want to shop in a Target store. read more

I'm waiting in line and I notice that there are some customers at the register without masks on and people are being let in with face shields. The target pickup is the worst. Order my stuff midday and I can't even get it before it closes. Really bad service at this target.

Not sure who's bright idea it was to "remodel" and add an Ulta inside. There is an Ulta down the street...why ruin the target and cram everything together to accommodate something that was not needed?! I went in and could not find half of the items I was looking for. They've done away with aisles and put up weird space saver type clumps of shelves. It is terrible and nothing is easily accessible, even if you can find where things were moved to. I'm done. If I have to spend 20 minutes trying to find one item I need I'll go elsewhere. read more

Not sure where to start with this but yesterday November 5,2022 my wife child and I were shopping at this target and we went to the back of the store where the Christmas decorations are located we walked through all of the aisles browsing and the last aisle we looked in was the ornament aisle my wife was in front of me and my child was in the seat In the shopping cart I was in the back of them following and all of a sudden I heard one ornament fall to the ground and I looked behind me and as I looked all of the ornaments shot off the shelfs crashing to the ground I checked the next aisle and it was completely Empty. I do believe in paranormal and poltergeist activity and this was a perfect example. I'm looking to see if anyone else has experienced anything such as this or close to it? read more

Unfortunately this is my local target. Store is never stocked! Pick up orders are ridiculous! I've waited many times for more than 20 min. Today was the icing on the cake. I got to the store at 5:10 and waited until 5:55 to get out of my car and ask the employee about my order. At this point I had already seen a few cars get there after me and leave before me. She was beyond rude, told me that next time I could go inside the store for my order and wanted to argue on my arrival time. Thankfully Chloe was another employee working the drive up orders. She was very helpful and handed me the order. The management here is horrible and it shows with their employees. REFRAIN FROM COMING HERE. Or expect to wait a ridiculous amount of time for your order. read more

Came in at 7am for the starbucks stanley's immediately was met with a rude target employee who immediately said are you here for the cups? then laughed and said we don't f*ing have any and said nope super loud to us and was trying to get us to leave repeatedly saying that they didn't have any in a rude tone and when we walked away we heard him say idiots, never have felt so unwelcomed into a starbucks target before but he wasn't a starbucks employee he was a target employee very rude and disrespectful read more

New Management needed!!! Every time I come to this target bad service and no customer service. Missing item in the pick up and the two girls giving the orders out skipped me 6 times. I had to get out of my car to say excuse me I was here before all 6 of those cars. Then the girl checked me off before my items even came out. Tried to call the store 9 times in all departments because no one was answering! Now I see where the employees get the lack of customer service. Needs new management. Called corporate and made a formal complaint and then tried to call target again and still no answer! read more

Yes is a very good department store, with great prices, a lot of inventory. Good customer service!

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service from a supervisor named Renee. I overheard him speaking to one of his employees as if degrading them What is the only way to manipulate his employees to do the work the way he deemed necessary. I felt very uncomfortable with the position he placed me in all I needed was to to buy toothpaste. I did not feel it was necessary to undermine and discipline his employees in front of A loyal customer like me. I can only imagine how he speaks to other employees on a daily basis behind closed doors. I do not feel I will be coming back to this establishment. I refuse to give my money to a company with such simple minded emplotees read more

Got sucked into Target today to grab a few things. How did I end up with so much in my cart? Because they have so many things.... lol I got my few basic groceries... yogurt, eggs, etc. great prices. Then I got sucked into the face masks.., darn it how did those end up in my cart? Maybe I need to do face mask reviews too? Picked up a cute bathing suit for my cutie pie nephew! So many different things in one place, plus it's clean, the prices are reasonable. Can't beat it. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is they were out of a few things I needed and a shirt I wanted in my size! read more

Curbside pickup was an absolute nightmare. Ordered 4 items from the target app for curbside pickup and was told it would be ready in less than 2 hours and that I would get an email/text when ready. After 3 hours of waiting I called the store to ask if it was ready- 2 separate departments never answered. I finally decided to just drive over because the store was going to close in an hour and I needed my items before the next day. The lady at the pick up counter was extremely unfriendly and did not care whatsoever. She told me they were backed up more than 6 hours. When I asked about the phones she said "like I said we're busy". She barely made eye contact with me during the interaction and made me feel like she was dismissing my concerns. I ended up cancelling my orders for pickup and finding the items in the store myself. (I usually would have gone into the store myself but I'm a front line worker and am too tired after my nursing shifts) I understand businesses are short staffed but that's no excuse to be rude to customers. I would have completely understood if they were too busy to do curbside pickup, but if that's the case I should have been notified it would be late or never able to place an order in the first place. The app definitely needs to be updated so false timing won't be a problem in the future. I won't be ordering curbside pick up from here any longer- I'll be sticking with Walmart for my curbside pickup orders in the future. read more

One of my all time go to's beside the Target in old Chula Vista. I do like this one better for the parking, however, they do not have a pharmacy at this location and it is never not busy. I don't know what to say.... I'm sucked into the Target vortex, and there's no getting out. But God I miss the days before self-checkout. Today, there was a HUGE line at the one checker who was open. There were two other cashiers, but they had their lights off and were trying to leave and do other stuff. Someone dared to ask one of the cashiers to stay open and she got a ration of poop in return. (I'm not blaming the cashiers. I'm blaming the management for deciding one cashier is enough to service a giant store and pressuring the other cashiers to get other work done on their shifts.) I understand self check out saves money for the store and for a select few, it may be preferable to interacting with a real human. But for at least half of the customers, check out with a human is far preferable--maybe they have a disability, kids to keep track of, a lot of items, alcohol, etc. For the love of God, staff your check out lanes. read more

My family and I went to shop at this location last week to buy a suit. My son and I were followed by store security the entire time. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I mean I love that the lines are not as big as Wal-Mart, but the variety and prices suck butt. Parking and location are okay. Staff is helpful, when you can find them, but if you go to a Target and are looking for help, then maybe you're the one that really needs help.... its Target!!! I love this target! It's a smaller location which is perfect for a neighborhood store. I moved from Point Loma. Which had a huge target on sports arena blvd. Yet they seemed to always be out of stock on everything. And the people were rude. That's when you were able to actually find someone to help you. This location is the complete opposite. You can't even walk a few feet without an employee asking how your day is. Or if they can help you find something. Exceptional service! read more

I've only come to this location for the mobile department. It's tucked in the back with the electronics. They are hardly ever busy and I got a $200 target gift card with my phone!! I always have a horrible experience here! Not just as a customer, but also as a Shipt Shopper! It's sad. The two Locations closer to me always honor the "online" offers as long as it qualifies! Target is usually known as the upper Walmart. But non the less I see it as a regular shopping center with the exception that it's red and smells of popcorn when walking in. The parking is vast as usual since it's a good size shopping center and there is various shopping cart spaces for people that don't want to walk far after stocking up tgeir car (even if lazy people still leave their cart in the lot). Once arriving there are various employees that are happy to help. The layout is just as usual from all other Targets and as I stated before the smell of popcorn is satisfying when walking in. There is mostly everything you need here from clothing, entertainment, kids accessories, food and many other things. There are plenty of registers for checking out so there's not usually a line for check out. There are bathrooms for everyone and if you're in the mood for something to eat there are various restaurants around this location. read more
