    I must say, my experience was amazing. Recently had my phone device transferred into my name. Prior to this, when it was in my spouse's name- the iCloud account was in his name as well. For years, it was frustrating to have our phone logs, photo libraries synced, and for awhile- text messages. Even our phone contacts merged- and although we had some phone contacts of our mutual friends- they became duplicated in our contact list. For me, I never had an email address all these years- and it was something I set up a few days prior to my visit at Apple. Thankfully when we arrived on a Sunday morning, we got here when the store first opened- and didn't have an appointment. Jenkins was so professional. He made sure he took the time to explain step by step what he was doing to help my situation. I get pretty overwhelmed at times, especially with things that are new to me. Jenkins put my anxiety at ease. I know these simple things are easy peasy for most people- but, it meant the world to me.

    I soooooo want to give this particular Apple Store three stars but that wouldn't be fair. My reason is because this mall in which it is located is a ZOO!! At least on the Sunday I went to pick up my order, it took me longer to find a place to park than it did to check in and get my two phone accessories inside the store itself! Well, I can't gripe and take a star away for that because that isn't totally Apple's fault. Inside the Apple Store, everything was as it should be. In fact, this one had more interior space than others I've been to in recent times. It held the the high number of people inside very well and I never felt claustrophobic feeling. But I just can't get off that feeling of circling the parking lot like Apollo 11 circling the moon! Overall, I was very impressed with how Apple used the space in the store. They had many Items from other brands - like Mophie, Belkin, DJI Osmo, etc. Also, Genius Bar was intact - a truly full-service Apple Store! It was a great visit as I was there to pick up two accessories for my new iPhone 13 Pro - an incredible iPhone!! I can say the parking aggravation was worth it! A few days later, one of my photos became this Apple Store's image bearer on Yelp a few days later!! AWESOME! The store itself is super! But please beware, you may run many circles in the parking before landing to head over there! Recommend: HIGH

    This is my first time visiting Apple Store. It's so crowded with so many members ready to assist. customer service is very outgoing, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really enjoy the fact you don't have to wait long before getting helped. When I walk in I was assisted after 2min of arriving which is amazing. I love all the demos and products in stock. I came in here because my brand new tablet stopped working. I appreciate the team having techs onsite to fix issues like these. This location also has a ton of products in stock which saves online shopping and shipping costs and delays. I purchase a keyboard for my tablet and loved that it was ready to go. Overall an amazing experience here don't feel discouraged if you see lots of people. This store has Tom of staff ready to help with minimal wait time. Highly recommend a visit.

    Don't tell customers that your phones do not work when they do!

    I don't even know where to start. Just avoid yourself the hassle of dealing with unprofessional staff. Reason for visit : pick up repaired item Communication is lacking from the floor tech to the supervisor/advisor. Professionalism is absent: they go to the extend of telling you their phone lines do not work so one can't call to do what they are asking you to do . ( have your mom call to authorize you to pick up , but our phones are not working so she has to come in ???) . Isaac was the guy speaking to me not helping at all . Seemed that he forgot its a pandemic and some can't leave their homes while quarantine. Long story short , everyone from the tech ( Isaac ) to front door guy to supervisor "Bernice" useless ... they had no intention to be helpful , no alternatives to help me when their phones were not Working, I had my mom on the line and they refused to speak to her, they talked over me and were redundant with their words every time I tried saying something to Isaac he had the same sentence " she needs to come in show her Id and she can pick up her watch" over and over and that is unprofessional. I was their being turned away while my mom was on the phone hearing everything that was going on and calling 629-205-6400 to speak to someone who actually help her by transferring call to the store . An advisor at the local store picked up her call without letting her give my name and instead he told her to wait to speak to a technician ... and they of-course hanged up after telling her a technician would pick up call after keeping her on hold ... they picked up the line twice & put her back on hold to eventually disconnect her call. So Mom called them again and explained the unprofessional situation and asked that they stay on the line with her until the manager answered and took my name. I Left without being able to pick up item and had to go back within 5 minutes of leaving . Mom spoke to Bernice whom I also spoke with and this women is something else as well . Exactly when I git home U heard mom saying my name about five times because this women kept asking her to repeat my name , and my name is not hard to understand so this women was also just bullying mom at the point were she is asking her , tell me her name again, what is it, spell it over and over ... I am not exaggerating on this one ... she said my name at least 5-6 times and when I went to pick up item I saw all new faces so I guess they swab the crew. Anyways I am not coming back here. This could have been avoided if when I dropped off the watch they could have instructed me to tell my mother to call and authorize me to pick up so that I could have avoid driving over in vain. They could have also allowed me to use FaceTime for her to show id and FACE and authorize me but Isaac kept telling me no every time I told him my mom wanted to speak with him since she was on the phone listening to everything , I even place her on speaker and he still refused and his manager also refused. Never have I not been help at an apple store but their is always a first for everything. This store needs to start thinking about ways to help customers and be more compassionate about their situations instead of being dismissive and remember its a pandemic and maybe virtual authorizations using the customers phone need to be used when your "phones ate not working" Apple has a way of sending message to our phones to verify its us so use your resources, the automative system has them in place so why not the local store ! !!! No bueno !!!

    I dislike having to go the Genius Bar. This location has just as much foot traffic as Fashion valley. The wait is loooong. I have waited as long as 4-5 hours. I normally just get an appt then come back. Ridiculous. Apple definitely need to change how they process their requests, troubleshoot and orders. Wait times shouldn't be this long. Overall, the staff is very friendly. I wish they were a little more attentive and prompt. The parking at Otay ranch mall is horrendous. The Apple store is located in the heart of the mall right next to sephora and Aldo.

Cesar called me within minutes, it was late Friday and all the other local repair places were closed until Monday. I took it over and he had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 1 hour! Dell told me not to take it anywhere locally. When Cesar opened up my computer he showed me the cheap parts they had used on my expensive laptop. He replaced the bad parts with high-quality ones. Now I'm just waiting on part 2, more parts to complete the repair. But it was good enough to use to get important work done over the weekend. Thanks Cesar!

This can be said for the people who have easy fixes and/or communicate every single needed detail to him before he goes to work. When it comes to customers with complicated matters however, this is where it gets shaky. Very shaky. The great 1989 earthquake of San Francisco shaky. Donald Trump's reaction to Bad Bunny shaky. He becomes combative and defensive, as you can see on his replies on all the bad reviews here. I brought my Macbook to him on May 2024 because it kept freezing. He got it working again in about two weeks! Amazing!!! HOWEVER... what he decided to do WITHOUT MY CONSENT was upgrade my system. I never asked him to do such a thing. So in his defense, he said I should've told him from the beginning to not upgrade my computer. I didn't want an upgrade because my older programs I frequent would not work anymore with the new OS. So, what? Is it standard operating procedure for this to happen? Is it common knowledge? I never signed a contract, nor did he ever give a word stating he would upgrade my system if he ever saw the need for it. This was a continuous uphill argument that only gave me a worsening, worsening impression on him. As you can see, Roger does not practice the classic businessman's motto "the customer is always right". He did offer to fix things anyway at no additional cost. Thing is, I gave him my laptop to attempt reversing the upgrade in June 2024 and he kept it for ONE WHOLE YEAR. Within that year, I'd follow up with him every week. He apparently has been hospitalized, went to the Philippines and was having personal problems. I don't know which of those to believe. But long story short, I didn't receive my laptop back until early July 2025. There was no extra work done to it. It was in the same condition as when I handed it back to him a year prior with the updated OS. He even gave me a box for a new iPad, with no iPad inside it. Very funny Roger. People, I've come to learn he isn't registered with the BBB or the BHGS. He also blocked my phone number, as I was trying to reach out to him for at least a partial refund, and my text never said delivered. This guy used to argue that he did fix my system, and the amount I paid him covered that. But where's the customer satisfaction? I didn't get that AT ALL. The amount I paid him SHOULD include customer satisfaction. It's basic business principle isn't it? So behind the polite smile, the "God bless you", the "it warms my heart when you leave good reviews", this is what you'll get when something doesn't go your way. I'll never have my old Macbook the way it was again and my $372.35 was thrown in the trash. I'll never hear and edit the inspiring audio that I can only access with my old ProTools program. Nor could I ever see or edit the amazing photos I kept in my old Lightroom program ever again. Thank you Roger. Thank you for teaching me that my weakness in undercommunicating will cost me in the end. Thank you for adding an unanswered grievance to my life. This is one malpractice on your part Dr. Apple. And my heart goes out to the others that have been wronged under your care.
