If I could give minus stars, I would.
We have been highly disappointed in this company, mainly the owner (Leo).
I bought a used lap top from him, he took my old one and gave me credit on the newer-ish one. Worked fine until it got a bad virus. Took it in to be cleaned up. Luckily I checked the laptop before I left the building. Sure enough the virus was still on there. They did a few clicks and it was gone. If I wouldn't have checked, I would have found out at home and been stuck with the same issue.
Now my husband needed a cleanup on his laptop. He took it in, the original tuneup was approx. $75. It was sort of repaired, it stayed working for about a week.
My husband took it back a second time, this time Leo had a complete different reason and explanation for what was wrong and what it needed. This second service charge was about $65. My husband made the mistake of leaving the shop this second time without checking to see if it was working. He got home and the laptop did not turn on.
This is a total of 6 trips, three to drop off and three to pick up. We have spent just over $200 in fees and gas to have only one working laptop.
We contacted Leo immediately and told him the laptop wasn't fixed. He said we should bring it back, they thought it was a certain thing and he was recommending a new fan to be purchased /ordered. That with this certain model a common problem (and he was noticed) is that the laptop gets hot quickly. I told him there's no way that's the problem, it never turned on in the first place, not what he was trying to explain. He said this part would cost about $50. We were furious. We pointed out the obvious, two times the laptop has been in there to be repaired and it's still not working. Why would we take it in a third time? Plus not to mention we live near Downtown and Clean Pc is a half hour away from us. We played phone tag mostly. Leo pretended he was going to fix it a few times, but would never follow through. He mostly communicates via text.
We expressed how disappointed we were and we just wanted a refund. Leo explained how he paid the tech for the labor and he would be out money. I tried to explain myself as nicely as I could, it shouldn't be an issue of "being out" labor. The guy got paid for a job that he didn't do. He should get the labor back from the tech and we should be refunded. I never heard of this excuse in my life. When you pay for something (a service), you should get that service. In our case this issue has been dragged out for way too long. We have tried countless times to contact Leo, and he ignores us.
So now I feel it is my responsibility to warn potential customers about this crooked so called business. PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO TAKE YOUR PC! read more
