This place has amazing customer service. I called in because my water cooler on my computer had broken. On the phone call they told me to bring it In and they would check it out. Spoke to Nathan Hourani, who I believe is the manager and co-owner. He gave me an extremely honest take. Gave me his opinion and didn't try to over sell me on anything. This is a legit brick and mortar PC store.... Which you don't see anymore. RIP Fry's. The other employees were also very helpful. After they installed my new cooler and did some BIOS updates, they let me sit down right next to them and check it out. This seems like an awesome family run business. My laptop wouldn't load after a Windows update, so I looked on yelp for somewhere to take it in to. Elite Computers was nearby with great reviews. They were super friendly and explained everything once they figured out the issue(update was corrupt and my hard drive was failing). They got everything fixed and I upgraded my hard drive to a bigger size while I was at it. Our computer crashed this week, leaving us in panic. We rely on it, and I was not sure if everything was backed up in the cloud. I called Elite computers and spoke with Joe. I recently went in to test a GPU I was gifted. I didn't have any background in PC as I usually get a pre built. I was assured by a gentleman whose name I didn't catch but he was truly so helpful. I came into elite computers after my gaming pc went down. I wasn't sure if it was my PSU or my Motherboard so I had them do a diagnosis on the computer and found out I had a bad motherboard. Is COVID morphing into a computer and hard drive virus?? Lol during COVID our external hard drive with years (and I mean years) of memories on it completely stopped working on us, and my husband's laptop died on him. Thankfully, we found Elite Computers! This is one of those stores you've probably walked past multiple times but haven't noticed since you never needed any computer repair. The guys here are straight forward and honest. We really appreciated that. It cost about $70 to repair the external hard drive -- they changed out the entire casing and restored our hard drive. The repair also only took 1 day during the COVID season, yes I said 1 day! For my husband's laptop, the repair guys were honest enough to tell us that it wasn't repairing since the part itself could cost up to $500. (A few days later, Apple, also confirmed that the repair wouldn't be worth it.) Competent and hardworking business owners here! Hope they stay in business. So my tower died again (probably overheating from owning a cat who likes to rub against everything and huddle by heat sources). It was in the middle of raid and I had been looking forward to playing all day. I gave Elite a call and brought the tower in that night! Joe, the owner, was super helpful and friendly. He answered all of my questions and suggested options for my budget. I got some upgraded machines (a gaming laptop and a prebuilt) since my current broken one was still on a gtx 650 and I was sick of running a dying tower with no time/patience to diagnose and swap out parts. Brought the laptop home that night and was back in raid in about an hour! The machine runs great and was cheaper than my Lenovo yoga which died 3 months in (will bring that in next)! They are honest, which is hard to find nowadays in a business. They will not try and sell you something that that you don't need. I've been going to them for more than 20 years now. I was in there yesterday about looking to have my computer upgraded to run a software program for a flight simulator that I hadn't purchased yet, but showed the owner (Joe) the specs needed to run the software. He looked at my computer and said I should be able to run the software with no problems on my computer without doing any upgrades. Joe said if it didn't run right after installing the software, then bring it in and they'd get it running up to speed with the installed software. That's honesty! read more
