We were told it was a 2-year agreement, only to later find out it was actually a 3-year commitment. That was never clearly explained. On top of that, they undervalued our phone trade-in and did not properly disclose the details. We feel taken advantage of and deceived. Transparency and honesty should be the bare minimum when customers are making long-term financial commitments. This experience has seriously damaged our trust. I strongly advise others to double-check everything in writing before signing anything.

The Apple Store was right across from here and I saw a big line forming for the release day shenanigans. I did not pre order and was NOT expecting any of the models I wanted to be available. To my surprise, there were only 4-5 people ahead of me at ATT. They surprised me saying they had all the 17 models available. I decided on the 17 Air (I've gotten the Pro Max versions last 2 times) which is a bit of a down grade as far as camera specs and battery life. But it's the first slim model Apple has put out in sometime and man it is oh so light on the hands and is the BEST looking IPhone to date. I paid off my 14 Pro Max balance and picked up this beauty of a phone. I will probably keep my Pro Max as THE camera phone (when I need the pics to come out better) and use the Air for my daily driver needs for apps and the social media. Life is not bad when you got two Apple phones for use. I walked out and saw the madness at the Apple Store (which was not open yet). Glad I avoided that mess and got my phone here. No hassle and barely a wait.

When we asked for assistance is when she came over and identified herself as a Verizon employee but then couldn't answer any of our questions and seemed annoyed we were requesting to switch back to Apple. My husband took it to bestbuy geek squad and they convinced him the charging port had come unsodered from the motherboard and pushed deep into the port hole. They couldn't fix it and said apple charges $300 for that fix. We decided to take it to phone zone for a cheaper repair (quoted less than half the price of apple) and lo and behold it was just a metal piece of the charger like we originally thought. The repair guy was super nice and it was a very reasonable price to remove/clean the port. I will definitely be bringing my devices here from now on.

Said "$35 if we could take it out". $35 for a stripped screw. I respected it regardless and said ok. 45 minutes later told me they couldn't and then showed me an even worse screw. First of all, the technician of the shop didn't talk to me then. It was another employee who couldn't tell much about the result, besides that they couldn't. I had to ask for the tech, and then when he came out, he didn't tell me anything besides that "he tried" and ignored me, looking at his TV or something. I walked away and he sarcastically told me to "have a good day" afterwards. I came back after looking at the device and seeing how badly they messed it up. Told me that they worked for "free" and that I was "bitching" and told me to "get the fuck out of here". Firstly, why would you pay anyone for a failed repair, much less one that made more damage? I understand that he worked for the device to be fixed, but now I have no way to repair this device because of the damage that the technician made. I wanted a fair shake, but instead he cursed me out. I would rate it lower if I could!!
