I'm so animated it gets me in pickles at times. :/. So, when chatting with my fur babies at home in the morning, I was talking with my hands and flung my iPhone flung outta my grip and smacked the metal bar underneath my refrigerator. My screen cracked and it took a couple hours for the blackness on my screen to dwindle down a bit, to have some kind of usage. There were still hiccups- like having a hard time to use the keypad since the numerics in the middle would freeze up or having to swipe a screen either up or down to read messages. Ugh! I went to AT&T and they handed me a pamphlet to get my claim started with Asurion. It's great when companies give customers the option of either walking into a location- no appointment necessary or scheduling Asurion to make a home visit. Calling their 888 number is easy peasy and follow the prompts. When you complete your claims call/ Asurion will give you options of nearest UBreal iFix locations nearby. And if that's what you choose, that is where your claim information will be directed. I stopped by this location yesterday at 11:30am & Steven was friendly. Estimated time frame for repair is 30 minutes to an hour. I was contemplating getting a bite to eat (many options within walking distance)! But, decided to hang out in the lobby. Time went by fast & I think it took 30 minutes, if that. I thought I could trust this local shop by taking my ps5 to get it serviced and clean up inside after owning it around 4-5 years and it being dirty asf. I read their google page and says they were professional and certified which I have a hard time believing that is true because they called me and I didn't recognize the number, therefore I didn't answer and thought they would leave a voice message as the professional employee they are but they didn't. I called the next day to find out if my ps5 is ready and it was but I am not satisfied with the work I recieved after I paid a total of 110 dollars for a simple clean up which STILL looks dirty. I was going to be charged 125 but since I registered my email I got a 10% discount and came down to 110 dollars total. I filled out a fix repair through Samsung and this company was listed as an "authorized dealer". Samsung has an offer for those with Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5 that the inner fold screen is only $200 to repair. I completed all the necessary requirements for my authorization and went into this establishment. The guy looks at my phone and says, its $779 to fix the screen. I said it is only $200 that's why I have an appointment. He says, oh, no, it's $449 for the inner screen. I showed my email and told him it was only $200. He said he doesn't care what deal Samsung offered me; his price is $449. I said, but you are authorized, so you are supposed to base it on what they say. He said that's not how it works. I went outside and called Samsung because I am confused. After going through ALL the proper channels, Samsung told me it was only $200. They asked me if I can go back in the store so they can speak to the dealer. When I went back in and told the guy Samsung was on the phone, I was met with the NASTIEST attitude ever. Basically forced me to buy a new crap aftermarket screen for 120$ on top of the price of battery 110$. One day after the install my battery dies twice as fast. They claim it is from water damage which makes absolutely no sense if they put in a genuine new apple battery. and to top it off the shady owner refuses any refund. Came into the shop at my appointment time just to find out they didn't have anyone at the shop who could fix that on that day... so why is it an option to book for this specific service on this specific day if you don't have someone to do it? Also if you have an appointment booked on your schedule for something you don't have a tech for that day, maybe call the customer to reschedule so they don't waste their time coming in. I took my Switch in for them to diagnose why my joycons keep disconnecting. The guy at the counter told me to come back the next day for it. I clarified that I was only leaving it for a diagnosis and he said yeah. The next day I got an email saying my Switch had been repaired and that I needed to pay $150. I told them that I did not give consent for them to repair my device and they offered to replace the new parts which they installed with the old ones, to which I agreed. Twenty minutes later I received a call saying that my right joycon no longer works, even though it was working when I left it at the shop. Kind of funny I actually walked in and there's four people sitting there as the girls telling the person ahead of me basically she can't fix the phone just by looking at it, and then gets to me and it says I can't do it diagnosis unless I open it up and charge you to fix it.? My phone screen broke after dropping it on the tile in my house. The Face ID was broken as well. I filed a claim with my insurance to fix it and I was sent here.
