Husband and I first time visit and as for me I wouldn't return. This restaurant was recommended by the manager and he was supposed to had made reservations for us but to our surprise once we arrived Saturday and gave our name and phone number nothing. Waited about 30 minutes to be seated, I was ready to walk out the door but my patient husband wanted to give it more time. When my husband met the manager he assured him we would have excellent seats and he would look out for us. Needless to say he was not a man of his word in any capacity. I really don't understand what all the hoopla is about when it comes to this establishment. Our server was pleasant and attentive. To many stairs and to dark. These establishments never consider customers who may have vision issues. As for the food, we started off with appetizers of wings and fried green tomatoes. The wings had a good taste but some were cooked to hard and as for the tomatoes I've definitely had better. All four of the tomatoes were fried extremely hard and had no season whatsoever, had it not been for the corn and sauce on top I would not had eaten them. When my husband met the manager he told him that the beef short ribs were slept on but I heard a server telling another guests it's a top seller. Which is it? Well I ordered the beef short ribs that came atop of mashed potatoes. The gravy made the potatoes soupy and the meat was so tasteless. I did send the mashed potatoes back and received a side order to which I believe they add four to their potatoes, not good. I'm not a salt person but Saturday I used salt and pepper which didn't help. My husband ordered two slabs of ribs with a baked potato. He raved about the baked potato and said the ribs were only okay. I took one bite of what he had given me and gave it back immediately. The ribs were not dry but the sauce made them nasty. This is not a place I would recommend. Two family member's were thankful that I went first so that they don't have to. They were both considering taking their significant other for Valentines Day but has since changed their mind. Chima is a much better option. read more

This place has amazing food and service every time! The wedge salad here is amazing. We also got the cheese bread starter and it is a must order! So delicious and cheesy! I had the filet medallions and they were cooked more medium than medium rare but still delicious! The wait was a bit longer than usual for food but the manager came over and apologized and checked on us. We were talking and fine with waiting. Too start French onion soup absolute fire. Motz app too much black peppercorn but good bit great finally dinner stuffed ravioli with lobster and shrimp soso. Friday the 13th at Webb Custom Kitchen Like most people, I don't normally leave reviews when everything goes as planned because that is what we have come to expect. For the last 8 years my wife and I have come to Webb for a Valentine's meal. We don't do it on Valentine's Day anymore because we do not like the fixed menu they offer. This year, unbeknownst to me, I made the reservation for Friday the 13th! I always make a note on Resy that we only want to sit in the lower level balcony and every year it has been honored without question. This year upon being seated we are directed to the projector room. I asked about my request and was told that it is only a suggestion and cannot be guaranteed. We agreed to wait until a balcony seat became available. Twenty minutes later our named is called and we are lead to a table on the floor near the bar. I ask our server to speak to a manager and within one minute I am face to face with one. I bring up my issue and she springs into action to seek a solution. Moments later a male manager asks us to follow him and takes us to a balcony seat because they have several that are open. I mentioned a lower level seat to which I was told they are reserved for a four top, but upon arriving all are two tops and continued to be with the exception of two of the tables for our entire experience. Our server arrives and begins to take our order. I always order the dry aged bone in cowboy ribeye and I request it to be cooked "blue." Every year that request has been honored. This year our server tells me that is considered medium rare and my wife corrects her that I said "blue" which is in fact less than rare. She repeats the order and proceeds to place it. The appetizer we shared was the angry lobster and it did not disappoint. We both ordered a Caesar salad and was confused with it was served in a parmesan bowl inside a regular bowl. The dressing was under what they were calling a parmesan tuille. You have to deconstruct the salad to reconstruct it to marry the salad to the dressing. The parmesan tuille was essentially a piece of rubber and inedible. It was finally time for our entrees to arrive and when they did I cut into my steak anticipating it to be cooked to order only to find was was medium rare. The server offered to take it back to correct, but I was already over the whole situation and knew I would be left waiting another 30 minutes while my wife's food grew colder on the plate. The flavor of the steak was acceptable, but the steak itself was extremely dry. It would normally melt in your mouth, but this time the more I chewed the bigger it got in my mouth. I actually got so disgusted that I was unable to finish my steak. We ordered dessert and the length of time it took to plate two pre-made desserts is almost equivalent to the amount of time to make one from scratch. That being said, they tasted delicious. Once we got our bill it was discovered that our server incorrectly input my steak as medium rare for which I reiterated twice that I wanted it cooked blue. It may be time for us to find a new Valentine's Day tradition even though this is the only one we have ever known. Maybe it was just a bad night. read more

Met a friend for lunch at Webb Custom Kitchen over my holiday break. From the time we entered the restaurant, we were treated to the best service possible. I enjoyed admiring the creative decor and its homage to the original theater. The big screen playing Turner Classic Movies was also a classy touch. For lunch I chose the French onion soup and wedge salad. Both exceeded my expectations. The wedge had a generous amount of blue cheese on it, which I greatly appreciated. My friend and I decided to share a piece of the peppermint cheesecake for dessert. It was the perfect ending to our exceptional meal and phenomenal service. Going to Webb's is like visiting an old friend. You have such a good time and wonder why it's been so long since your last visit! My mom and I had dinner and drinks as part of her birthday celebration. While we had reservations, we decided to sit at the bar. Josh and the other bartenders took very good card of us. Everything was very delicious! We started with a Lemon Drop Martini and the Cheesy Bread while trying to make our dinner selection. We decided on the Filet Tips Martini. I know sounds crazy but it works and is amazing! It's a martini glass filled with mashed potatoes and gravy topped with filet mignon! We had the Korean Ribs and Roast Beef Sliders. I enjoyed the sliders but thought then ribs could have used more sauce. We were stuffed but wanted dessert so we got it to go! We ordered the Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake and the Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake. Both were very delicious! The concept/ dining area is unique. A old movie theater and old movies are shown while dining. Our server was Dalton. He was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We had been wanting to try their food for while.... and finally went for my mom's birthday. I was torn between ordering the Angry Lobster and the Shrimp & Lobster Tortellachi. I should've went with the Angry Lobster. I thought the artichokes were TOO much in the pasta and was left still feeling hungry. I ordered the truffle fries, when my food was brought to the table. I had to wait a long time for them and flavors did not leave a good impression. My brother enjoyed the Caesar Salad Theater, especially the cheese bowl. He also was a fan of the angry lobster but not the Mac & Cheese. Hubby enjoyed his whole meal: Charbroiled Lollipop Rack Chops of Lamb, Country Potato Cakes and Duck Cigars. We've been long time fans of WCK for 8 years and thought we struck gold getting a last minute Valentine's Day reservation for two. Our experience was disappointing - the cocktails were syrupy and served in sticky glasses, my ribeye ordered "medium" arrived purple and very undercooked on one side, and was white like a pork chop on the other. Our waitstaff never checked on us and we had to flag down another person to help with my meal. The beef was fatty and nothing like the cuts of rib I've typically received at WCK. From the ribs, burgers, steaks, salmon, to the wings and fried lobster tail appetizers everything was great. The converted theater still has a lot of its amazing charm. The conversion was done amazingly. Entrees average around $30 per person but if you go for the $99 porterhouse and finish it, you're immortalized with a plaque on the wall with your name on it. Apparently a gentleman is set to do it for his 100th time tonight, July 22nd, 2023. So it has to be great but too much for me to bite off. If you haven't been to Webb Custom Kitchen, it's a must-try in my opinion! My wife has been before and after hearing from her and numerous others how good this place was, I had to try it out! First, the restaurant is an old movie theater, converted into a two-level restaurant. So your literally eating in a theater! VERY cool! Second, the food was cooked to perfection and was delicious! If you go, try the baby lobster and the duck cigars! The waiter that we had was super attentive, alert to our orders/needs and made our experience great! Covid protocols were in place to ensure safety and we were tucked away in a small corner booth, which made us feel that much more safe. THE BEST BRUNCH IN THE AREA!!!! I've wanted to come here for years and finally made it on a beautiful Sunday morning for brunch. The inside is stunning however next time I will request a table upstairs to over look the old theaters architecture as well as the open kitchen. Devon was our waiter and took such good care of us. We started with tangerine and orange mimosas and a scone basket. The scones were the best I've ever had. The butter served with them were packed with flavor. One had a smoky bacon and onion flavor and paired with a light and buttery cheesy scone. A perfect starter that excited us for what was to come. We ordered to share and we got a variety of things to try. I had the braised short ribs that came in a bowl surrounded by the perfectly whipped mashed potatoes and red wine gravy. My sides were collard greens cooked in pork belly and Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing however the Mac and cheese was just okay. Needed some salt and maybe a sharper cheese. My friend had the angry lobster which came with a spicy honey mustard sauce. The portion was a lot and the presentation was awesome. Her sides were the grilled veggies and risotto with goat cheese and bacon. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu. I have my eye on the ribeye special and the honey chicken. This is probably my fifth or sixth time dining at Webb. I just felt like it wasn't up to their service standards. I had ordered the French onion soup for my starter and I'd only took three bites before my main arrived. I had ordered it medium and it came out raw and cold in the middle. My husband ordered the same thing but medium rare and his was a nice warm pink in the middle so I just switched with him. I would've said something to my server, but he wasn't around. I guess I'm just old school, but don't think that you should be coming to our table removing plates before everyone is done eating. Then our server started telling us the dessert selections while I was still eating my steak. We didn't want dessert and said no thank you and I continued eating. We did not ask for a check, but the server just went ahead and presented the check while I was still eating dinner. We'd only been there 50 minutes at this point. My husband had to ask to get his water filled and when I ask for a second martini the server replied "well you threw that one back fast". As he was laughing. I celebrated my birthday dinner starting with a Pretty in Pink (perfect balance), moved on to Fried Green Tomatoes (seasoned to perfection, the right amount of crunch and can't forget the corn relish adding extra flavor and texture) and lastly the main course was a 1/2 rack of ribs and a baked potato (note..I'm not a big ribs person but they were amazing. Fell off the bone at the touch of a fork. The combination of the dry rub and sauce had you wanting to lick your fingers, lol). We sat upstairs in the balcony, what a view! It was our first time here and we absolutely loved our experience. We came in for brunch and everything was delicious. We had our 6month old daughter with us and it wasn't an issue at all. My only complaint about it was that there was a lot more toppings than tomato, but still very tasty. For my entree I had the crab cake which also had great flavors. You really can't go wrong eating here. Oh, there's some things I like better than others, but honestly, every dish is at a minimum, good. The service is top notch and I like the ambiance.
