OH HONEY! Yes, this place got my attention with one of the best eggs benedict plates I've had in a long time. A fresh english muffin, with two delicious poached eggs each on a bed of honey bacon and topped with a tasty hollandaise sauce, it comes with a choice of side so I got the savory home fries flavored with rosemary. It was all delicious! My Sister comes here often and had eaten earlier so she got the sweet potato fries which were so good! You can park in the FREE lot right across the street! There is street parking but not a lot. It's an old building, but they have upgraded it, the them is Honey Bees! We had an excellent Server, Heather who said she had been there about 3 years and liked it. We even got a welcome visit from Christian the GM, she was very pro! She was real nice and kept the re-fills coming with being asked! I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch, they do brunch on Weekends and they strongly recommend a reservation. This is a cute little establishment located in downtown Belmont. Upon arrival, all of the hostesses provided warm smiles and greetings. We went as soon as the restaurant opened on a Saturday morning and had no issues with being seated without a reservation. Our server, McKenzie, was very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal an appropriate amount of times. She topped off waters and provided anything we asked almost instantly. Her service was outstanding! We ordered the French Toast Sammy, the Beehive Breakfast with French toast, and the Corned Beef Hash to go. We also had the Feelin' Peachy mimosa which was delicious. We were told that you had to have a reservation to get in...but we went a little earlier and they had plenty of room for walk-ins. Cute cafe and very clean! We just moved here a few days ago and so far this is our favorite spot. It's a one of a kind, cozy restaurant. The food was wonderful and I LOVED seeing turkey sausage/turkey bacon on the menu. This is a cute cafe in Belmont that serves breakfast and lunch. We've been there twice for breakfast so far and it was delicious. One thing I forgot to take a pic of but is a must is the pancake, soooo good! Huevos Rancheros are awesome and so is the breakfast quesadilla. Service is just OK, could be a little more welcoming. Seating (at least in the front dining area) is a little annoying, tables are SO CLOSE to each other that there is no privacy during your meal. What an adorable cafe! I met up with a girlfriend for brunch, it was both our first time trying it. She had a Benedict and I had a fried pimento chicken sandwich. Both hit the cinnamon roll as a side. Service and food were great. It's in the heart of beautiful historic Belmont so great to catch a meal there then go do a little shopping in the various shops on the strip. This was our first time trying Honeycomb Cafe. We made a reservation and the hostess attempted to sit us at a very awkwardly placed, small table in the rear. I asked for a different table and she sat us at another small table in the front. The air-conditioning and fans made that particular spot very cold (I'm NOT cold natured EVER). When she saw that we were still uncomfortable, she moved us to a larger table right away without us asking. Our server was Heather and she was friendly, very attentive and incredibly fast. The coffee was really good! I ordered the corn beef hash and it was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits and he said that it "was very fresh". I tried it and it was very tasty. My husband's only complaint was that his biscuit tasted like it had been microwaved and it was not fresh. We are looking forward to going back to try other menu items. read more

Waited probably 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Biscuit and gravy had a good flavor and seasoned well. Only downside was my biscuit wasn't crispy on the outside and a small section of it was rock hard. The grits were creamy with a good flow; not too thick, not too runny. I live in Belmont and love to walk downtown and support local businesses. This past Saturday was my second time giving the Honeycomb Cafe a try and was just as disappointed as the first visit. 1. Atmosphere - Great. They kept the charm and soda fountain bar. 2. Staff - Not horrible but not very welcoming or friendly either. 3. Food - For a breakfast cafe, you'd think the coffee would be good. Unfortunately, it was no more than dirty hot water with no taste at all. I ordered avocado toast and have never had avocado toast with mushy bread until now. Not sure how that happened. The bacon was cooked so hard it was inedible. The potatoes had no flavor and all of our food was cold. Only one person in our party was satisfied with their food and it was the breakfast burger. I tasted it and it was way too salty for me. At the end of the meal, it was $100 for 4 people and 3 didn't were highly disappointed. Not sure if I just happened to be visiting on 2 bad days, but nevertheless won't be returning. read more

They have exceptional customer service, a good health sanitation score, fast service and very good food! They accept reservations but even if you don't make a reservation, you can give them your number while browsing local shops until your number has been sent a text. They told me it would be a 30 min wait but they called me in less than 20 minutes. The inside is small but they also have extra spacing in the back for larger groups. The menu is large and they're only open until 2 but this is a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Come check them out. read more

It's not a very big space, and there's always a wait time between 30 to 45 mins. Now I wasn't here for a long time but a good time because I was actually dining somewhere else close in the area. So we decided to just get a carafe of mimosas and fresh fruit. It was very refreshing. The atmosphere is very laid back, cute deco, and friendly. I've been here twice, the second time was with a larger party (9 people) for my mom's birthday. Both experienced were amazing! The servers that attended us on each day were very nice and attentive. Had a tough time reviewing this place. Many nice things, but a couple of items were below expectation. Came here for breakfast. Great, location, great ambiance and decor. Service was good as expected. I love a good corned beef hash, so I ordered their home made dish. Great flavor, and liked the twist with the hollandaise sauce. BUT, the corned beef was very chunky, chewey, and in some insrances fatty. To the point that the fist dish had a chunk of beef about 3/4 inches. Had them redo the dish. In my opinion the beef needs to be trimmed better, slow cooked more and chopped smaller. The second issue is the price. I get it, this is not your small town diner, but $20 for corned beef hash and two eggs are a bit pricie, even for this type of place. Having said that, the portions are really large. So maybe reduce portion size and charge less? Regardless, I would come back as the other dishes looked really good! read more
