The food came out perfect, exactly as requested. The woman taking the order was pleasant throughout the process. I have eaten here multiple times through the years. Never a bad meal. Hamburgers are the best in Bellingham. I like the web locker burger with bacon. Grilled sandwiches are also always good. This is not a fancy restaurant. It is clean, open, usually only crowded in the summer. In the summer the patio is always a nice place to eat. Best fish I've had in Bellingham; best fried fish I've had in years! Web Locker was recommended as the best fish sandwich in town, but for so long i could never try it because it closes after lunch and I'm never at Squalicum Harbor at breakfast or lunchtime. Luckily, i finally had the chance and came down at noon and asked the person for whatever the most popular item was on the menu. What do you call the employees here? Fishtenders? The fishtender recommended the Fish & Chips and the Clam Strip basket, so my friend got one and I got the other. It was an excellent fried food feast. I rarely like fried food, but when I want fish & chips I mean business. This place had great fish & chips, not too greasy, not too heavy. The tartar was terrific (a PNW must for fish & chips) and my husband ordered a side of onion rings that were light, crispy, and perfect. We split the double order of fish, which was enough food for 2 big eaters, and left full but not feeling like I had just eaten a bucket of lard (which is how fried food usually leaves me feeling. Food is typical pub style without alcohol. The location is excellent - nice patio when the weather permits. Food selection is good. Portions are large and high on carbohydrates. French fries are awful -- consistently over-cooked. Quality of food is OK in general, pretty much what you might expect, but not outstanding. Cold drink selection is large, but mostly sugar water stuff. Service is OK, not great. Pricing is average. This could be an outstanding place given the location, but I do not sense that they care enough to be a great place. read more

Good spot to eat lunch after walking the waterfront with the pooch. They are dog friendly (outside dining), which for an outdoors kinda town like Bellingham, is a rare occurrence. I've only ever ordered one thing here even though I've been here multiple times because it's that delicious! That one thing is their clam strips which are out of this world. I have tried many a bite of their fish and chips from my boyfriend's plate though :) The other great part about this place is the location. It's a perfect summer spot for lunch after you've walked around the waterfront. My only reason for dinging them a star is because the last time I was there the girl at the counter was extremely unpleasant. One of my favourite places to eat at on Bellingham. They have AMAZING food and everything ive tried there ive loved. The only thing id complain about is their hours, which is 8 am to 3 pm. Its a great place to have lunch at but they are never open in the late after noon which is usually when im free. But regardless of that they are still one of my favourite places in Bham. read more

Stopped on the way here on our travel from Seattle to Vancouver, BC. Seems kinda out of the way since it was far from some of the other shops and restaurant around Bellingham (of course, we are tourist looking for a place to eat and don't know the area at all) Seems like a very local place - local characters were sitting around talking about boats or some other things. We had an order of the Fish & chips. Fish was fresh and tasted great! Chips were average. Clam chowder though was too heavy and overly seasoned. Not my preference -- esp. after eating at Pike Place Chowder the day before. A definite disappointment. They seem to like to use the phrase "world famous" in a lot of their menu description (e.g. world famous burgers, etc.) As far as I can tell, good fish but so-so on all our other food. Nothing to really go out of our way for next time. Did not have time to enjoy the waterfront, so can't comment on the location other than to say it was tucked out of the way. read more

Great, spacious outdoor seating area. We like that we can take our dog. The blueberry French toast is yummy. Only wish they had more vegetarian breakfast options--maybe add a veggie sausage to your breakfast meat selection. I don't like that the hash browns have that fake melted better soaked into them, but my husband loves them! We also LOVE that the coffee is self-serve. Nothing gets my husband crankier than waiting for coffee to be served/refilled. My girlfriend and I ate there today. We always get a web special and split it. We do this as a lunch date at least once a month. We were so so disappointed the burger was unseasoned and not cooked all the way through and gray in color. No burger sauce the fries have changed. We love this place used to tell everyone for the best Burger in town go to the web. The price is high but when it's the way it used to be we didn't mind the price. We may give them one more try. I mean everyone has a bad day. That being said if it turns out to be the same as today we will not be returning. We also will not be recommending. Well as a customer for over 30 years and four owners, the lunch today was the worst I have ever seen delivered to the table. My son and I stopped there for a late lunch. I ordered the Turkey Melt and it was average as usual. My son's cod burger on the other hand, not eatable! The deep fried cod portion was so thin you could barley see it, 3/4 batter 1/4 fish. My son was shocked and so was I. As a cook in Bellingham he could not believe they served that poor example of deep fried fish! The server did not even stop by the table and ask if there was a problem. I would think after you pay $27 for a grilled lunch you would be able to eat it or at least be asked if there is a problem. Guess the other two restaurants near the Web-Locker will be getting our business. read more

This is a go-to eat out option for my wife and I whenever we're hungry. They have it all: burgers, fish n chips, chowder, chili, and more. I always like what I get (though those 4 are what I always get, ha!). Either get there early during lunch or call ahead because the chowder will be long gone. The staff is always super friendly; even the cooks in the back are talkative and lively. Plenty of seating inside or out, and they open up the roll-up doors when it gets sunny outside. I have never written a review before but felt my experience at the Web Locker on Wed., August 2 was more than review worthy. I was there with my grandson and a small dog. I had left my purse locked in the trunk of my car and had only grabbed a few dollars. I placed my order when all of a sudden it hit me I didn't bring my purse and I was short on cash to pay for the order. I was going to cancel the whole order and purchase within my means, but after much discussion with the staff a resolve was agreed upon. My grandson and I both had lunch and the dog even got a dish of water! I can not say enough about the customer service on the part of all who were working that day. You don't find this kind of service very often and I encourage others to stop by and see for themselves. I do stop in for a quick drink when walking near the Web Locker Restaurant, but will now make it more of a habit to enjoy a nice lunch on a regular basis. You can get a better burger at Red Robin and spend the same (or less) and at least you get fries, all you can eat no less. Sad. This place was great too. This place is amazing! This is the type of little dive food shack that you want to be around the corner from your house. They have amazing omlettes and breakfast. Great place to enjoy on a sunny day. Head over, grab a burger or fish and chips then go enjoy zuanich point. The food is good and they have been around for a long time. I would recommend the fish and chips!! The burgers are also really good.
